08/09/2024: After several experiences in this restaurant I can say that the dishes are well presented, the cuisine relatively good and the service rather quick. On the other hand, we cannot say that the welcome is warm: if the waitress is rather smiling, this is not the case of the manager.

02/09/2024: We are very happy we discovered Le Pont Perdreau and have learned about les routiers! The welcome, service and food were all excellent. We ate very well and enjoyed some drinks. We were at a campsite nearby and after a very wet day cycling along La Vélo Francette this was exactly what we needed. Thank you and sorry we didn’t understand the communal seating, we will know for next time! :)

03/09/2024: Good atmosphere, good food but special waiter who scolds us when we ask him for the bowl of peanuts immediately removed after having placed them in addition to the aperitifs... this one even claiming that the bar is already closed to prevent himself from refill us.

27/08/2024: I'd love to say this was an excellent dining experience, having Googled the reviews I was really looking forward to some authentic French food. Upon arrival at the tables set outside I checked with the waiter by pointing to my dog to ensure it was acceptable for to sit with me. I was given the nod OK so seated myself outside. My hungry backside had hardly touched the plastic seat when a surly looking grey haired gentleman came directly to me speaking in French. I politely explained that I don't speak French (poor school descision upon reflection). This gentleman replied in rather excellent English that he does not speak English and continued in his surly manner speaking to me in French. Unfortunately I had no idea what he was saying so in a rather bemused manner nodded agreement. Who wants to enflame a situation when all you're hoping to get is feed...anyway... Mr Grey haired angrypants stalked off back inside the restaurant. I'm thinking he may have been the owner but at that stage I felt awkward and embarrassed so left with aforementioned dog. So please Mr Grey haired angrypants, please be aware that rudeness translates across any language divide and you had no reason whatsoever to speak to a potential customer in the manner you did. I'd also like to take the chance to highly recommend the burger place round the corner where the staff where helpful and patient with my attempt to communicate in primary school level French. You can even sit in the beautiful seating area without having to deal with surly grey haired gentleman.

18/08/2024: Great restaurant. Always a very pleasant and warm welcome The dishes are homemade and we enjoy it every time. It's always a pleasure to come and have a great time in this restaurant which I recommend 100%.

03/09/2024: Restaurant at the bottom of the fortified town of Sainte-Suzanne. We took advantage of the outdoor terrace, not too much noise despite the passing cars. The only downside was that we had to wait 40 minutes before a woman took our order. Problem of organization of the service and who does what. Afterwards the service is faster. The welcome is pleasant and the order is taken by a very accommodating young girl but too bad at 1:00 p.m., several dishes on offer were already missing. The value for money meal is excellent, we ate very well, rather gastro. Another downside was the drowning of coffee in its white saucer: there was as much coffee outside the cup as in the saucer and the young man served it like that!!!! It is absolutely necessary to book as many people cannot be accommodated.

26/08/2024: A pleasant place, the interior makeover is very tasteful. The cuisine is delicious, a beautiful composition of aromas and flavors. To consume without moderation, choose the complete menu to indulge yourself. Great success for this recovery.

15/09/2024: We were received without booking, and for that we are very grateful. The exterior setting is very pretty. There is even a swing for the children. The service was very good, the food was good. (Shetland galette and Galette bachette) profiteroles and crème brûlée, we've seen better but we ate well. On the other hand, what takes away a star is the cook who smokes his Electronic Cigarette while he prepares food. That's really unacceptable... There are breaks for that...
