06/02/2026: I had a kebab for lunch today, and honestly, it was very good. Okay, it's getting expensive, but not yet at the level of some well-known fast-food chains.

17/10/2025: I've been there several times, and it's really a good pizzeria. I'd even say the best in Laval! The staff is super friendly and welcoming! The pizzas are excellent! It's really a pizzeria that takes great care of its customers and remains traditional with pizzas made in front of you!! I really recommend this pizzeria!

05/12/2025: A lovely little bistro that I highly recommend. A great menu with well-prepared seasonal dishes, delicious homemade desserts, and excellent wines. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, not noisy, and you feel comfortable because the tables aren't too close together. I received a very warm welcome and the service from the owner was impeccable. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Château-Gontier. 🥰

10/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant, as good as it is visually beautiful. I don't have a photo of the dessert but it was also divine. Original selection of beers with many craft beers that you don't see elsewhere, which makes up for the slightly high price of these (only negative point)

22/11/2025: Apparently this will be their last service this Saturday, November 22, 2025... bankruptcy proceedings??

13/11/2025: Meal was acceptable. 8 guests had the plat du jour just over € 10 each. Had two glasses of wine, two beers,three coffees and two cokes. Boys went to pay and each was charged €61 each couple. Total bill € 240 !!!!! No receipt given back at till by server why not ? Noticed on way home way over charged it should have been less based on their published prices. Messaged within hours. No reply. Emailed, messages, messenger all ignored. Had to resort to revisiting and manager refused to refund overpayment. Asked where was the receipt ? Explained server did not give it back to us hmmm ? So 6 of us never going back again as felt very badly handled. Customer service very poor at handling this situation. I have written to their restaurant group too to ask for advice. Future guests check your bill carefully and ask for your receipt based on our experiences. Not recommended. We were visiting after attending the cremation of a very dear friend and it spoilt the whole celebration for us. Shame on this restaurant.

14/02/2026: Honestly, I'm very disappointed with KFC. The photos look appealing, but the box is actually smaller. The presentation is nothing like the advertisement. It clearly feels like the marketing is exaggerating a lot. For the price, I expected better. I don't recommend it.

03/05/2025: Red mullet fillet without any flavor!!! A little gesture would have been nice, even minimal, but hey. Yet my choice was guided by the good Google comments. Too bad, I won't do it again. The restaurant's response is between irony and arrogance, indeed as you say it was not at all to my taste, it's up to me to better choose the places where I plan to eat.

22/01/2026: Overnight stay during the week on a rainy day, warm welcome, basic room, but then that dinner... The main course and dessert were very well prepared and generous. Excellent food, I highly recommend it.

07/01/2026: An absolutely perfect stay! The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming, professional, and always attentive to every detail, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is a real highlight: delicious, beautifully presented dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Every meal was a true pleasure, both visually and gastronomically. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and its restaurants. A place to remember and where I will definitely return!

30/12/2025: We stopped in Laval for lunch (2 adults and 2 children), and found it to be excellent value for money. The staff was very welcoming and professional. We'll be back!

20/12/2025: The food was of very poor quality. The so-called homemade fries were soggy and greasy, and the green beans were barely green at all. The meat was of mediocre quality; when we ordered, we weren't asked how we wanted it cooked (a basic requirement in any restaurant), and it was practically cold throughout. It was still defrosting. It was cooked somewhere between rare and medium-rare. The tagliatelle dish didn't deserve any more praise; the presentation was appalling, and the seasoning was nonexistent. We ordered two glasses of wine, but neither was served. To top it all off, they charged us for them. To cap off the evening, the "manager, owner, or whatever" came to ask us if everything was alright. The brief but unfriendly exchange made us feel like we were responsible for not having spoken up. The service and atmosphere were just as bad as everything else. I think this establishment would be a perfect candidate for the show "Kitchen Nightmares."

09/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome at lunchtime, just as service was ending. The bistro menu was well-prepared, and the kiwi, clementine, and banana tart was a surprising but absolutely delicious choice. We will be back.
