06/02/2026: On a business trip, I discovered this rather small, understated restaurant with excellent service. My colleagues ordered the daily specials, such as pork spider steak or salmon, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had a burger—one of the best I've ever had! The food is homemade, which is a real plus. It's also great value for money. I admit I didn't get a chance to try the dessert, but I'll definitely be there next time.

13/01/2026: A wonderful discovery: the medieval Bar le Duc, a bourgeois house transformed into a restaurant with a view of the city. Not many tables, so a personalized welcome, efficient service, and refined cuisine. All at reasonable prices. Don't hesitate to try it.

15/03/2026: Hello, we came as a party of five, having booked for four people plus one extra, and despite this, we received a warm welcome, thank you! However, we were disappointed by the €24 ribeye steak, which was undercooked and therefore inedible due to the remaining sinew. Instead of the Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil we requested, we were given a bottle of Bourgueil Vieilles Vignes, which wasn't replaced or offered any compensation, which was disappointing. Furthermore, a hair was found in the prawn risotto when we took a spoonful, which was also a shame. We waited an hour for our main courses, which is understandable given the number of people there. The waiters were nonetheless understanding and offered us complimentary coffees and half of the ribeye steak. Thank you, and see you soon!

15/03/2026: We waited an hour for our main course and then 30 minutes for dessert. Despite the waiters being very polite, we hope for improvement in the future. The meat wasn't cooked properly and wasn't trimmed correctly, but we did receive a discount. We'll return hoping for better service.

01/03/2026: A little tip if you ever book: remember to let them know 2 hours in advance if anyone can't make it, otherwise it's an extra €10 per person... and on top of that, you get yelled at in front of everyone! It's completely unprofessional!

20/03/2026: We ate there this evening. Although we arrived very early (6:30 pm / the kitchen opens at 7 pm), we were greeted very warmly and passed the time with a drink and some crackers. The food arrived very quickly. I had a burger with an unusually dark bun, but it was absolutely delicious. The fries could have been a bit crispier for my taste. My husband had the beef ribs, which were incredibly tasty. Although my French is very, very limited, the staff went out of their way to help us, and we got everything we wanted.

25/02/2026: This restaurant truly deserves 5 stars. We made a last-minute reservation for Valentine's Day and were lucky because there had been a cancellation. The initial phone reception was perfect, followed by the welcome, the meal, and the overall organization. This was our first visit, and we will gladly return and recommend it to others as it's well worth the trip.

22/12/2025: We came by chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. Very good, very generous portions, and the staff were very friendly.

23/11/2025: We arrived as a group of five adults and an 18-month-old child, without a reservation, and were warmly welcomed. There were no vegetarian options available that day, but the chef kindly and happily offered an alternative at no extra charge. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert, and all three were delicious. Homemade, excellent value for money. We highly recommend it and will definitely return! Thank you again for the thoughtful touches for our baby.
