07/08/2026: Ligny-en-Barrois is a stopover village, the reason for our visit, on our way to our holiday destination. Arriving at 3 p.m. at the Athéna restaurant, we were able to enjoy a fantastic hamburger despite the late hour. The owner's nephew even went to the bakery to get fresh bread. We've never had such good bread. Tonight, a truly royal couscous. The owner just presented us with a plate of our choice of spicy tomato sauce. Don't hesitate to come and enjoy a delicious meal... And the service was incredibly friendly. Well done to you all.

They were dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for us, not forgetting the sommelier, Emmanuel, who seems to be part of the furniture with his famous cheese trolley, and the chef, Mr. Thouvenin, who is always striving to surprise us. 24/08/2026: Excellent place! The staff were incredibly kind, smiling, and attentive, even during the busiest times. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken escalope with Roquefort sauce, served with a superb gratin dauphinois and perfectly cooked fresh vegetables. The presentation was impeccable, the portions generous, and the taste was spot on. Thank you for a wonderful experience. 🤩 We will definitely be back!

19/07/2026: A wonderful discovery upon returning from vacation: thanks to the Michelin Guide's recommendation, which we wholeheartedly agree with: inventive and delicious cuisine, a fine wine list, everything is homemade including the bread, attentive service, and dogs are welcome! Excellent value for money considering the work done by the chef alone in the kitchen! Hats off! We will definitely be back! Bravo!

11/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The cozy atmosphere and impeccable service (from the owners and their assistant) were truly outstanding! Attentive service, not to mention the excellent menus!!! The house aperitif of white wine with green tea was divine. Everything was perfect...even my picky 10-year-old daughter, who usually wouldn't eat anything, loved it. The menu is small, but everything is fresh and, above all, homemade. A nice touch is that some products are available for purchase (homemade jam, camelina oil, Espelette pepper jelly, etc.). We'll definitely be back! Thank you again!

23/07/2026: Delicious traditional Moroccan cuisine! Tasty tagines at very reasonable prices. Very friendly welcome and service. Normal waiting times. The culinary experience takes precedence over the interior. The acoustics are less than ideal when the restaurant is full, but definitely recommended!

17/07/2026: Came here because of the great reviews and did not disappoint. Very friendly service, they really tried to understand me even though my French is far from perfect. Tajine was full of flavors and tasted very rich.
