07/01/2026: A wonderful spot in the North of France, a very typical pub, with a smiling and attentive team. Service with a smile and good culinary advice, a selection of bottled beers and wines by the glass, carafe, or bottle. Pleasant setting with a view of the plain and the windmill above.
12/12/2025: This charming pub is ideally located with a view of Cassel. The dining room boasts original décor with numerous antique objects on display. The welcome is warm, and the local cuisine (carbonnade, fries) is hearty and excellent. There's a wide selection of local beers, including the pub's own brew, which is particularly good. You can also purchase local products in the room adjoining the dining room. Free parking is available 200 meters away.

Honestly the best Welsh rarebit I've ever had. Local, high-quality ingredients; you can taste the homemade quality.
Very pleasant setting and attentive staff.
I highly recommend it.
28/12/2025: Very friendly service, they went out of their way to get us a table during a busy service. A perfect entrecote frite, the best steak we have eten in a long time ,perfectly cooked.Very good value for money, when we are back in Cassel we will certainly go back here.

29/12/2025: For my first time, I wasn't disappointed! The pizzas are very good, even a small one is enough. I really enjoyed them.
There's a good selection of classic pizzas and some "specials" that are quite original, featuring local cheeses (and that's a real treat, a nice difference!). I also saw daily specials and pizzas of the moment—let's just say there's plenty to choose from!
The staff is friendly and welcoming.

19/10/2025: Very good establishment, excellent value for money, the only small downside concerns the Picon white wine that we had as an aperitif, it is specified as 10 cl on the menu, far from it, I repeated the experience when we got home!!! For 4.5 euros it stings a little apart from that everything is perfect

The starter and main course were very good.
For dessert, the chocolate mousse would probably be better with less sugar.

24/12/2025: Not well-maintained in my opinion; the rooms are too small and not clean enough. DISAPPOINTING.
On top of that, the owner tried to rob me; we had to call the police.
In short, I do not recommend it.
12/11/2025: We only tried the restaurant, and it was perfect and very welcome. After 10 days of regional specialties, the dish of the day (blanquette) was a welcome and excellent choice. The owners are also very friendly, which is a nice bonus. We especially loved Vasco, the mascot, who accepted our Sorbonne beer.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully presented dishes and delicious food.
For dessert, we had incredibly indulgent and light crêpes.
The service was excellent, thank you for your kindness and warm welcome… we will be back! 😊

09/11/2025: We arrived for a post-hike snack and received a very warm welcome. The manager is exceptionally kind. There was a children's table next to ours, and he brought them several games to keep them entertained and even offered candy (to all the customers, actually). A relaxed, friendly atmosphere, just the way we like it. We'll definitely be back! I especially recommend the crepes!
06/11/2025: The treats that came with the chocolate were incredibly good!
The service is quick, the staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
This brasserie brought back childhood memories of going there for a grenadine with water with my family.
I highly recommend it.

28/12/2025: We had a wonderful evening here at this fantastic restaurant. The food is deffinitely Michelin quality for a very reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and informative about the dishes which were beautifully presented and tasted exceptional. We hope to return soon.
25/11/2025: I had an incredible time eating here. The husband and wife team who run this restaurant are amazing in their hospitality. This is a review regarding their cooking course lunch experience.
It’s an entire morning and afternoon with the chef. We started around 9 am and finished at 3 pm. We were in a private kitchen with the chef and he taught us how to cook an entire 3 course meal together and we ended up eating what we had prepared with him at the very end. The meal is with the chef and his wife and you get to enjoy a lovely lunch with them and have the chance to hear more about their life and their philosophy of cooking.
It was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested. You won’t regret it!

Very warm welcome, we feel good.
Top children's menu with homemade minced steak and a very generous portion.
Typical Flanders dishes (homemade potj, carbonnades, croquettes, etc.) at the top.
The chef goes into the room to greet customers and collect opinions.
I recommend. Good choice of beers and draft beers in particular (the triple Lefort…um)
