02/11/2024: Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les deux plats (potjevleesch et burger black Angus) surtout le burger servi avec un pain croustillant et la viande bien chaude.

06/09/2024: Everything perfect, impossible to find a flaw from the kind and professional service to the quality of the dishes. It is one of the best Michelin-starred dishes, the dishes are taken care of in every detail and you wake up satisfied, full but not weighed down. The dessert is amazing, considering that in my opinion it usually remains the weak point of many gourmet restaurants. Mandatory stop for lovers of gourmet and non-gourmet cuisine. Well done.

19/12/2024: An estaminet totally anchored in Flemish tradition, magnificently located opposite the Cassel mill, and offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Tasty and generous cuisine, made with regional specialties.
A detour is necessary.

11/12/2024: An oasis of peace on the Kassel market, with a sunny terrace a few meters higher than the other catering establishments. Fine choice of dishes with a Flemish twist, ditto local beers, including the Reuze blond and ambrée, both tested and approved. Authentic and cozy interior.
12/11/2024: Snack break after a hike. A warm place, which is worth the detour!

15/11/2024: Really nice atmosphere inside. The music is so vibey. I sat here with my husband and we ate fish and chips. They gave us some yummy free soup. The pastries are very good as well, we had speculooscake. The bathroom is superduper clean! There were paintings from a local well-known flemish painter! They were very nice. Great experience!
03/11/2024: Spontaneous stop in Cassel on the road to Mont des Cats in the restaurant. We didn't know what to expect, but what a great discovery! Homemade cuisine that uses quality products and highlights regional specialties. We are already planning to come back soon!

Very warm welcome, we feel good.
Top children's menu with homemade minced steak and a very generous portion.
Typical Flanders dishes (homemade potj, carbonnades, croquettes, etc.) at the top.
The chef goes into the room to greet customers and collect opinions.
I recommend. Good choice of beers and draft beers in particular (the triple Lefort…um)

29/09/2024: I think there has been a change of ownership. It was better before, both in service and on the plates. The salmon was dried out. The stew was not great and the fries were off the rack. Foie gras small thin slice for a high price.
And I'll stop there.
19/09/2024: We had a great time in this establishment, the products are of very good quality, the service is friendly, the owners will welcome you with a smile, a big thank you and see you soon.

31/08/2024: Avons découvert cette adresse sur Cassel. Bel intérieur comme un hôtel particulier. Belle cour sous un grand parasol à côté d'un petit bassin qui rafraîchit la cour. Menu avec 2 choix possibles. Nous avons pris les ris de veau girolles suivi d'agneau polenta et petits légumes. Dessert sous forme de petits tableaux. C'était excellent, très bien présenté avec de bons produits. Un peu long par manque de personnel en cuisine mais en ce moment cela touche pas mal de restaurants. Sinon très bonne qualité dans un beau cadre.
09/08/2024: Joli restaurant et bonne cuisine mais très très peu de choix, ennuyeux quand on est un peu difficile!! 2 menus avec 2 choix par entrée, plat et dessert. Pas de carte, il vaut mieux voir les menus proposés avant de réserver (où? c'est la question) Avons été contraints de prendre une entré que nous n'aimions pas vraiment, les ris de veau, mais nous n'apprécions absolument pas l'autre alternative du thon rouge cru! Dommage!!

05/09/2024: After our walk in the city, we had a real relaxing time in this bar/restaurant. The “Rouge Baisers” ice cream sundaes were really excellent!
Small downside all the same. When we ordered cold drinks, we told the waitress that we were going to order ice cream afterwards. She came twice, but we hadn't finished our drinks yet. We sensed a certain annoyance on his part… Well, nothing too bad.
As a result, she never came again and sent her colleague when we decided to order the ice cream sundaes.
The establishment has a beautiful terrace on the Grand Place in Cassel and the prices are affordable.

20/09/2024: Overpriced catering! I ordered an American steak, two small pots of mayo and ketchup sauce and two 33 cl drinks for the modest sum of €19.50. Everything is counted extra. A small pot of sauce €1, the two salad leaves in the American salad €1€50, a 33cl Perrier €3, the pepper sauce in the bread €1! I will never set foot in this establishment again.
