13/06/2026: The best kebab in Lille, finally! The bread is perfectly soft inside and crispy outside, the portions are generous, and the fries are fantastic too. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The best spot for a great meal! The service is always excellent, which is always a pleasure.

13/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at Truva! We're always warmly welcomed, the service is quick, and the sandwiches are delicious, whether it's the kebab, the köfte, or the falafel. I highly recommend it!

10/07/2026: Nice vegetarian dinner in a nice location, staff were friendly and service was quick despite it being busy. You can sit down and order from the QR code on the tables or from a waiter

The terrace was shaded, but the wooden table was barely acceptable (not even a placemat!), the mussels and small fries were served in unappealing containers, and the servers were subpar (both in terms of service and presentation). I felt a bit embarrassed to have invited family to this place.

05/04/2026: We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was empty. Nevertheless, we ordered some very good starters and two main courses: beef in Thai sauce and chicken noodles. Honestly, it was very, very good; the food was impeccable.

17/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. We came to this bar after eating at the restaurant next door, and one person in our group still had an unopened bottle of Coca-Cola from the restaurant. The bouncer explained that outside drinks weren't allowed inside the bar, which we completely understood. So we agreed to stay outside without opening the bottle. We all ordered drinks at the bar, but despite this, the bouncer continued to bother us, demanding that the bottle be hidden in a bag and that it couldn't even be placed on the table outside. This attitude seemed excessive and unnecessarily unpleasant. Honestly, the way we were treated made us wonder if it might be related to the fact that we are Asian. A very bad impression overall.

17/05/2026: The Garden of Giants is a magnificent haven of peace, somewhat hidden just behind the Lille-Europe train station. A superb and relaxing place that is truly worth a visit!

13/05/2026: An unusual garden in Euralille, primarily based around water and wetland plants, with fish and a terrapin! Also a lot of giant bamboo, a couple of large frames supporting wisteria and other climbers and a couple of large topiary heads. Very enjoyable, though not large and the surrounding roads detract a bit from getting there!

14/01/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lille. The food is excellent, the steak with eggs is delicious and high quality. Be sure to save room for dessert: their walnut tart is incredible! A real treat in a very pleasant brasserie atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: An unforgettable evening thanks to the exceptional welcome! We had reserved a table for two at 10 pm at this restaurant. When we arrived, there was no one there, and yet the owner welcomed us like royalty! He prepared a delicious and generous homemade meal for us in a refined atmosphere worthy of a fine dining establishment. Frankly, in many other places, we would have been politely turned away despite having a reservation, as the doors were closed. Here, it's the opposite: ultra-personalized, warm, and professional service. A real gem, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11/07/2026: I wish I'd never had to write this kind of review. I've been there twice already. The cookies are very good, no complaints there. I went at 5:30 PM today, just now. There wasn't much of a line, so I went in, and there were two people ahead of me. My turn came, as expected, and there were three women serving. One of them completely ignored me and immediately asked what the people after me wanted. I waited a minute, hoping it was just an accident... but nothing. She just continued serving the group after me. I'm not one to make a fuss, so I just left, in silence, dismayed. No reaction from the others either. No need to mention that I'm a person of color! Thank you.
