23/02/2026: An excellent place to stay in Lomme! I've been staying here regularly for the past two months and I'm never disappointed. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always smiling. The service is impeccable, and the rooms and linens are spotlessly clean. What's more, the food is truly excellent: a special mention for the wonderful initiative of offering free crepes on Mardi Gras – a very thoughtful touch! The location is also quite convenient with its two parking lots.

03/03/2026: Pros: Very trendy bar, friendly waitress, opposite the Citadel Park.
Cons: Very limited beer selection, extremely expensive, even for the center of Lille; you can't order at the bar, which increases the wait (though still reasonable); the owner's attitude towards the waitress was a bit tense.
Note: I was there during a busy period, so don't generalize.

21/03/2026: Always a great time, I've been coming with my family for years, always a warm welcome, quality food, and very reasonable prices. Their delivery service is also excellent. The staff are lovely and helpful.
20/03/2026: I'm writing to leave a review regarding an order I placed with your restaurant.
The quantity of semolina and vegetables was very good.
However, a major drawback was the merguez sausages, which were very small. What I find outrageous is having to pay €3 for a tiny 2cm sausage!
We paid €60 for three couscous dishes and expected better.

13/03/2026: I recently discovered Dumplings and Co in Lille and it was a very pleasant experience. The pork and chive dumplings were particularly tasty, perfectly cooked, and generously filled. I also appreciated the modern decor with its subtle Asian touches. A big thank you to Julie, the waitress, for her warm welcome and helpful advice about the menu. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is quick. A great place to enjoy dim sum in the city center. 🍜🥟

The glass of quality champagne (Pommery) was excellent.
Unfortunately, the steak tartare wasn't hand-chopped, but it was well-seasoned. I was a little disappointed with the presentation. The meat was simply placed in the middle of the plate without any garnish. The thin-cut fries were fantastic.
The chocolate mousse was homemade. It was good value for money, and the dining room was beautiful, but I was still a little disappointed.

10/05/2026: I was very disappointed by the service in this shop. The products live up to their reputation, however, the saleswoman was regrettably cold (like she was from the North Pole), the complete opposite of the warm welcome you find everywhere else in Lille.

10/05/2026: Méert could genuinely be my favourite dessert place in the world. I still can’t forget the taste of their famous waffles, delicate and lightly crisp on the outside, yet soft and buttery in the centre, with a rich vanilla filling that melts beautifully with every bite. They somehow feel both elegant and comforting at the same time.
I loved them so much that I even ordered delivery while living in London. That alone probably says everything.
