12/12/2025: I hadn't been back to "Maroc Lille" for quite some time. I rediscovered that wonderful, fragrant couscous and a very light, not at all greasy, broth-sauce, paired with perfectly rolled and very light semolina. It was perfect. The meats were of good quality, grilled to perfection, and the merguez sausage was truly top-notch, not just an afterthought but a real delight in itself. The service was attentive and friendly, yet understated and refined. And then there was the charm of the cook, whose eyes sparkled with happiness when she sensed her guests were more than satisfied. And of course, the owner always had a few anecdotes to share. It's a shame it doesn't have six stars.
12/12/2025: Excellent couscous, semolina, and a wonderfully fragrant, crunchy vegetable broth. The kebabs were of good quality, and the mint tea transported us to another place. Hats off to the cook! The waiter and owner were very welcoming.

11/12/2025: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is right in the heart of Lille. The welcome was warm and the staff were incredibly attentive. The prices were very reasonable for such delicious and varied dishes.
06/12/2025: Thanks to the super enthusiastic waitress who welcomed us; we had a great time thanks to her! We had a good meal, they had all the basics. This was my second time at this restaurant, and I recommend it.

22/11/2024: A small oasis in the middle of the desert, the environment is excellent, the beers are very good and the food is reasonably good
08/11/2024: The staff, the ambition, the boss and the cuisine are excellent, but the price leaves me speechless: 31.5 euros per meal, 1/4 of wine and two 25cl beers, it's a bit stingy.
18 euros per meal for two starters: Macedonian ham or country terrine, three dishes and 3 or 4 desserts of your choice with a free shower if you eat mine was already taken. You add 2.5 euros for 1/4 of wine so for my two 25cl beers I paid 5.5 euros each.
I am a driver and we are also in the restaurant business with my wife, our 33cl beer is 3.5 euros....... and our margin is correct
Here I think the prices are a little high even if everything else is impeccable.

07/12/2025: We ordered two savory and two sweet items. They were good but a bit pricey for what they were. A minor drawback was the atmosphere; it was chilly and very noisy. Okay, that's all.

02/07/2025: The atmosphere in this bar is very pleasant, as are the decor and the terrace.
The prices are relatively high (this is true almost everywhere in Lille, however), and the bar doesn't accept menu items below €6, so it's best to have some cash on you for smaller orders.
The waiters also get a little jaded at the end of the evening, although they remain courteous and efficient.
I would definitely return if the opportunity arose.

04/08/2024: Vine con mi padre del extranjero buscando un lugar para probar comida típica de Portugal y tras buscar en internet, encontramos este restaurante y decidimos ir, pedimos los dos bacalao y nos quedamos realmente satisfechos, con un servicio espectacular y personal. Sin lugar a dudas repetiríamos

Remove this one from the restaurant name...unsalted mussels with only the maroille on top. Fries kept warm under the lamps....go your way even if the service tries to attract you warmly.

07/09/2024: It's no longer like before... overcooked crouton on the board, plate barely filled with 3 slices of cold meats fighting a duel, no salad, no bread, without forgetting that we forget you, for this last, we were offered the plaque as compensation

20/09/2024: Acceptable food, high price without reduction, bad surprise. Arriving at the restaurant. The reduction was not applied even though it was on the application. The waiter didn't want to know anything despite the fact that I could prove the 30% and the saddest thing in the story was that our reservation was canceled, as if we hadn't come to TheFork, which which I find to be intellectually dishonest. In short, for the price I don't recommend it.

24/09/2024: The hotel is very close to the city center. There is a parking garage in the adjacent train station. The hotel's restaurant and lobby are pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good.
There was no toilet paper in the room (to be precise - there were two nearly finished rolls). However, the receptionist provided a roll upon request.
24/09/2024: Location is central but ventilation is very poor. Air conditioning did not work in the entire hotel for 3 days and nothing was done about it. Very unfortunate to have to sleep in a closed room at temperatures that are too high.
