14/02/2026: We ordered delivery from this restaurant. The advertised delivery time was 13 to 15 minutes, but after almost an hour's wait, we still hadn't received anything. The order was eventually cancelled without any explanation. Very disappointing service.

28/01/2026: This is a terrible restaurant: I ordered a chicken döner, but I was served raw, cold meat with absolutely no flavor. There wasn't even any salt. Furthermore, the person in charge of the kitchen was extremely careless with cleanliness and organization.

17/12/2025: I ordered a royal platter with several meats, but the merguez sausage was raw. I spat it out because it was so raw and tasteless. They recooked it, but I still couldn't eat it. It was really bad. I'll never set foot in that place again, that's for sure.

11/10/2025: Convinced by the reviews I've read here, I gave in to temptation at La Cambuse. Unfortunately, I didn't find much in the following comments: - First, the smell of fried food is striking, as soon as you enter the bar/restaurant, guaranteeing smelly clothes all afternoon. - Second, the dining room has almost no natural light (just a skylight), with very basic furniture, not very pleasant; it's quite sad to eat in. - The draft beer menu is rather poor, which is always a shame in the north. - The service is nevertheless pleasant and fast. - But I was disappointed when the frozen fries and bagged salad arrived...

06/03/2026: Very disappointed, the place has changed a lot. The welcome was completely devoid of smiles. As for the food, it's anything but a real chip shop: the bread isn't a proper baguette and the fries aren't even served inside! To top it off, they were undercooked and had a strange celery taste. I don't understand what happened, but I won't be going back.

14/02/2026: Honestly, not great. The woman who served us was very friendly. But the food itself wasn't very good, especially for the price... The tables weren't clean even though there were only a few people in the restaurant.

10/02/2026: I stumbled upon this little Asian snack bar quite by chance, without really knowing what I was going to get, but with this sudden craving for Asian street food. And honestly? For me, it's the best Asian snack bar in Lille. Unbeatable value for money. I had a spring roll, two fried crab claws, and a vegetable tart. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can tell right away that it's not frozen food thrown into oil like an old pastry. It exudes good taste and respect for the flavors. The server was incredibly kind, with an easy smile and a gentle energy. You can feel a real sense of friendliness. The place is cozy; you can eat in, take away, or reheat your food if you want to eat outside. I love Asia, and here I found that warmth, that generous simplicity.

13/11/2024: My wedding reception venue. The experience did not live up to the dream sold by the manager. The food was good and the service was OK (still lacking in smiles). Otherwise quite a disappointment. The standing tables were not installed despite no rain forecast. However, they were included in the price paid... the guests had to hold their glass without being able to put it down during the reception with only 2 glasses. The quantity of alcohol per person was not respected due to the manager's mistake during the appointment according to him.. on the sound side, Sylvain is announced as an incredible DJ, go your way.. too much light in the room for dancing, unsuitable .. finally, if you bring your champagne, ask for the corks. No proof of having opened so many bottles otherwise... Relatively disappointed. Organization that leaves a bitter taste. And plan to catch up elsewhere for our 10th wedding anniversary! Details which fortunately go unnoticed by all the guests but which are important for the bride and groom when they know what had been concluded. Summary for eating at the restaurant yes, for the wedding no!

04/07/2025: I paid 45 euros for a meal, a glass of wine, and two glasses of water. We were put on a poorly placed table, even though there were seats everywhere, and we were refused access to the terrace. Overpriced, service not good, food mediocre, and we were overcharged.

04/07/2025: Nice spot away from the street. I'd like to try the rooftop next time. Good homemade sangria. Daily special ok. Service took a while for our table, but there were 10 of us...

02/07/2025: I know the owner a little; I think he's of Algerian origin, and he's very kind. He retains loyal customers without favoring them. Very good and pleasant, just the right portion, and if you ask for a change, he makes it without a problem. I recommend it because I've been there several times and always loved it. Contrary to the reviews, I've never been sick.

24/02/2026: We discovered this establishment and it delighted us in every way. The welcome was discreet, the dishes offered were truly diverse and catered for all tastes. Freshness was, of course, guaranteed. We went as a group of four on a Monday evening and everything was absolutely perfect! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will gladly return.
