05/08/2026: The food was decent, but could be better. The primo piatto (first course) to share was a great idea. The waiter, the former owner, was excellent and very experienced.

02/08/2026: Good restaurant with quality ingredients. The waiter is friendly but a bit pushy. The restaurant has an Italian style but feels rather dated.

31/08/2026: Update following the bakery's response: No, not liking being sold a burnt baguette is not a matter of preference regarding baking. And it's not the customer's responsibility to inspect every product before leaving to ensure it's in acceptable condition. I am therefore removing one of the two stars I had given. Indeed, while passing through the neighborhood, I bought a baguette and a seeded loaf. The latter was very good, but it was only once I got home that I discovered the baguette I had been sold was badly burnt. Even after removing the blackest bits, it remained inedible. I also regretted the wait time and the lack of vegan options in the pastries/viennoiseries. I had nevertheless given two stars for the seeded loaf, but... Responding that I can "specify how I like my baguette baked"—as they did to others reporting this apparently recurring problem—only makes my experience worse. At this point, you simply don't sell the product (or, at the very least, you inform the customer and ask if they accept it that way). I would have appreciated a simple acknowledgment of the problem. Instead, their response transformed it into a matter of personal preference, implicitly shifting the blame onto me for not thinking to state the obvious: that I didn't want a burnt baguette. Therefore, I'm removing one of the two stars I had given: this lack of listening, self-reflection, and acknowledgment of an otherwise obvious problem adds a second bad experience to the first. It's a shame, because the grainy bread was actually very good. But between the burnt baguette and, above all, the way my legitimate complaint was received, I won't be returning.

15/08/2026: I was visiting Lille and discovered this bakery. The service was excellent, and the bread and cakes were delicious. I felt very welcome as a customer. Keep up the good work! Thank you so much!

09/09/2026: It's always nice to come to this chip shop, the atmosphere is warm and the people who work there are all lovely, especially Emeline, the best.

26/03/2026: I used to go there very often, but the only downside is that it doesn't offer portions of fries, whereas most of the bars near Rihour do.

05/04/2026: We ate very well; the ribs and the pistachio half-cooked meat were delicious.

28/03/2026: Good evening, We just came from the sensory awakening. We had gone to get a milkshake and a crepe. The problem is that the cook at "My Crepe" made a mistake with our order. My cousin, who has allergies, discreetly told him it was a Snickers milkshake when we had ordered a Bueno. The cook wasn't happy about being told he'd made a mistake, so he spoke to us with such disrespect, in a raised voice, because he didn't accept the remark. He ended up taking back the two milkshakes and came back 5 minutes later. He told my cousin to taste them, and she was perplexed. She ended up tasting them again, but she didn't notice any difference, or very little, and at that point, he swore he hadn't changed the milkshakes and that we were liars. It's shameful, even unacceptable, that this cook disrespected us in this way. I sincerely hope this cook will be punished. A huge thank you to the manager of the "Awakening of the Senses" restaurant who intervened, was kind, and offered a refund, which we, of course, refused. We weren't asking for a refund, but for the right to respect!
