28/02/2026: When I'm craving mussels and fries, this is the place I often go. The mussels are very good and delicious.

23/02/2026: So disappointed with the mussels and fries! The mussels were tasteless, the fries were frozen and not good, and the mayonnaise came in packets. Avoid at all costs! We were visiting Lille for the first time… and we were tricked by the city's signature dish!

16/03/2026: Super friendly welcome, very smiley... I had the American kebab with samurai sauce and raw vegetables... a real treat! The fries were fresh and delicious, and especially the generous portion – I don't know if I'll finish it all... If you want to enjoy some great fries, go to the Friterie des Lilas... well done to them and thank you!

28/02/2026: A northern-style chip shop just the way we like them: crispy yet tender fries, generous portions, and a burger bursting with flavor thanks to quality ingredients. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm definitely adopting this neighborhood chip shop.

12/12/2025: I really love this restaurant, the welcome, the service, the atmosphere and of course the food!! A slight disappointment with the desserts on my last visit which I found a little bland, but the dish of the day (pork chop with smoked paprika and sweet potatoes) was exceptional!

08/12/2025: A lovely spot just steps from Lille Flandres train station. It was delicious and very generous! We'll definitely be back!

20/12/2024: I came yesterday with a friend. We had a good time over a beer. The bartender gave us very good advice, he really knows his products and describes them perfectly! 8 atypical beers on the menu. A very appreciable kindness and smile that warms the heart in this month of December! Small downside for the noise but it was a Thursday evening. I will definitely come back :-)

20/12/2024: Beer bar but not only.... Beer brewed on site. The sausages are of very good quality.

23/02/2026: The food is delicious, perfect for a quick bite and a culinary journey. The decor and comfort aren't the strong points in winter (it gets a bit chilly), but the terrace overlooking the pedestrian street is really pleasant in summer.

13/02/2026: Don't go there. Very expensive, very bad, very small portions, and the products were crammed into a cardboard box in a condensation-filled mess. Sorry, but I went to find something else to eat.

I arrived at the end of the service, the young man gave me great advice on the sauces and made the best burger I've ever eaten; all served with kindness and affordable prices, what more could you ask for? Thank you for the generous portion of fries, very crispy, I'll be back.

30/01/2025: The old Lille institution pubstore is a real journey through time, as much for its decor as for the music or the play on words that name the dishes (I love it)!!! The cuisine is tasty, based on fresh, quality products, we had a great time 😋. The only downside was that the waitress was particularly unpleasant and apparently annoyed at serving our group on this weekday evening when the restaurant was almost empty… She gets the bill wrong and angrily asks us: we're going to have to pay the difference!! It’s completely normal, but there are ways to say it, especially when the mistake is on your part… I still recommend the establishment, but the service is part of the service, pay attention 😉

What makes this place even more interesting is that it’s also a fair-trade shop selling coffee beans and loose-leaf teas. If you’re a tea lover, you’ll enjoy browsing the selection — colorful tea boxes are displayed near the cashier, so you can admire them while ordering. It’s the kind of spot where you can sip a coffee, pick up something to take home, and feel good knowing it’s fair trade.
