01/09/2026: the pizza was not very good, there was A LOT of cheese and not enougu sauce. When we got the bill we had to pay for the cutlery. We asked why and the server could not give us an answer. He said it was written outside but we didn't see it anywhere.

23/08/2026: For over 30 years, about 5 or 6 times a year, I've been going to Piccolo Mondo and I'm never disappointed. At first, I went with friends, then with family. The service and the menu are so excellent that the children have taken over. We're never disappointed, and I love being advised and looked after by the same kind gentleman I've been seeing for decades.

30/08/2026: I returned to this restaurant a few years after my first visit and was surprisingly disappointed. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. It felt like the staff was overwhelmed. As for the food, I felt the quality had declined significantly. A meal costing almost €30 for two dry steaks, a handful of fries, a small sauce, and an onion ring appetizer that was watery at €8 seems excessive given the poor quality of the ingredients.

30/08/2026: The food and service were fine, no complaints, however, it was a bit noisy for our liking.

17/08/2026: First experience at Meert was a disaster! We were passing through Lille and wanted to buy some waffles at the wonderful Meert, a must-visit Lille institution. Imagine our surprise at the reception in the shop!! A disgrace for products of this quality and at this price! We were polite, but the saleswoman was extremely unpleasant and clearly doesn't understand that a smile is essential in retail. I hope you have a better experience than we did.

19/08/2026: I don't know what happened in the kitchen today, but the fries were truly inedible, hard and with a very peculiar aftertaste. I had to throw them away and I won't be trying it again.

13/08/2026: Great chip shop! We've been going there at least once a week for a little over a year now, and we're always happy. The portions are sometimes even a bit too generous (it's rare to complain about that, haha!). The owner is always very friendly too.

30/11/2025: What can I say about Angelo's place, it's complicated between the little one and the big one...lol...and really great brothers-in-law, the food is very good and at pizza time they know right away what I want to order.

17/08/2026: Extremely slow service: we waited almost an hour before being served. Furthermore, the meats we ordered were not cooked to our liking. When we told the waiter we had been waiting an hour for our food, his response was: "You should have told us you were in a hurry." We weren't asking for express service, just a reasonable wait and for our orders to be respected. An hour's wait without explanation, with incorrectly cooked food, is unacceptable.

06/08/2026: We just wanted to grab a quick coffee, but the owner first made a fuss because we weren't ordering food and removed the tablecloth. Then we ordered two cappuccinos for €12. The nastiest coffee I have ever had. Definitely not recommended!

30/08/2026: A very typical all-you-can-eat restaurant, with uninspired food. The cleanliness of the tables needs improvement, but the service was otherwise quick.

18/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, a pleasant place, and above all, come hungry! For the price and everything you can eat, it's very good value and delicious. Especially the vegetable noodles and the shrimp dumplings 🙌🏻

07/08/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant. I come every week, whether with friends or for business meetings. Until this summer, I'd never had the slightest problem and I always appreciated the warm welcome and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, since July, a tall, long-haired waitress, often dressed in black, has significantly worsened the experience we were used to. I've never seen such unpleasant behavior in a restaurant I frequent so regularly. This person is haughty, condescending, and makes numerous inappropriate remarks to customers. During one lunch, she even made a snide comment to one of my fellow business owners. Later, when we simply asked her for bread, she responded with a particularly disdainful tone while rolling her eyes. I find it unacceptable that an establishment allows an employee to behave this way towards its loyal clientele. Several of my friends, who also frequent this restaurant, have made the same observation in recent months. We've also noticed that the restaurant seems increasingly empty since this summer. When you hire people who think they can get away with anything and treat customers with such nonchalance, it's unfortunately not surprising to see the atmosphere deteriorate. It's truly regrettable, as many good times spent at this restaurant are now spoiled by the attitude of just one person. I sincerely hope that management will take this problem seriously before more loyal customers decide not to return. Regarding the food, it's extremely good; the Italian experience is very present, and everything is always very fresh. It's my number one restaurant in Old Lille.

23/05/2026: I went there twice. For tobacco, "Hey Biloute" lighters 🤣, and I took the opportunity to enjoy a beer on the terrace. I received a wonderful welcome from the owner. He was the only person I spoke to. This gentleman is exceptionally kind, always smiling, and extremely polite. The establishment is clean, including the restrooms. The terrace is covered and very pleasant. Surprisingly, although the establishment is located at the roundabout on Place Jeanne d'Arc, you aren't bothered by the traffic, which is quite reasonable. I will definitely go back. I sincerely thank this gentleman, who has a true sense of business and the utmost respect for his customers. Don't hesitate to go there; you will be truly satisfied. See you soon.

12/08/2026: The striking wasn't very good, but the girls were respectable and friendly, and that's the most important thing.

11/08/2026: Not good. Virgin mojito 0/10. There were zero ice cubes, two measly lemons, loaded with sugar, and mint leaves that might not even have been washed. Orange juice wasn't good either.
