Where are we headed? They own the property and have no say in the matter. We live in a crazy world. Evicted even though they pay their taxes just like us! 😭😭😡😡😡 What will become of this vibrant neighborhood in Lille? Well done, if I were you, the mayor, I'd think differently because restaurants keep the city going, bring in customers for other purchases, all for nothing. Housing that might be built in six years, if it's even built at all. Shame on you! Honest workers being evicted while others take advantage of the system! 😭😭😡 Let's help our friends who actually work. A restaurant with an excellent reputation, and they're closing it down for nothing.

31/03/2026: My friends and I arrived at this restaurant on Sunday, and as we were being shown to a table, the waiter shouted at us. We felt uncomfortable and left before ordering. Edit: Because your memory seems to be failing you. Indeed, we arrived, greeted us in English, and asked for a table for three. Your waiter rudely replied in French and pointed at the tables. We never sat down because, as we were walking towards the dining room, your waiter started shouting throughout the restaurant.

29/04/2026: I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant located in the heart of Old Lille; everything is fantastic from start to finish. The cuisine is both sophisticated and comforting, absolutely everything is homemade, and it shows. Special mention goes to the morel mushrooms stuffed with poultry, a dish that demonstrates great skill and is bursting with flavor. The staff is extremely professional and very attentive! Finally, the rustic-chic setting is ideal for a lovely dinner, whether with family, friends, or a loved one.

27/04/2026: For our first visit to Le Ch'ti Charivari in Lomme on Sunday, April 26th at lunchtime, we received a warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The charcuterie board was beautifully presented and delicious to start. As for the main courses, the fries were excellent, which is rare, and the burger was very good. The smoked salmon salads with toast were generous, and the salad was perfectly seasoned (which isn't always the case in other restaurants). Good value for money. Well done to the chef! We'll be back soon.

18/04/2026: I've been to L'Arrière Pays several times, it's a very good restaurant! I recommend the open-faced sandwiches, which are original and delicious 👍🏻

16/04/2026: When I'm in Lille on my own, I always make sure to visit this restaurant where I can always find a table, even without a reservation! I chose the Canebière tartine as part of a set menu. I wasn't disappointed. The raspberry chocolate crumble dessert was also excellent. Fast service. Hot food. Pleasant waiters. I highly recommend it for its great value!

11/03/2026: For me, one of the best burgers in Lille. I always get the Denver and I'm never disappointed. Great taste, fresh ingredients, and a reasonable price. I go back regularly with pleasure. The fries are good too. As for desserts, I don't know, I never get them. The dining area is a bit small, though. Edit: I was saddened to learn of the closure. I'm gutted. Best of luck to the whole team.
