25/08/2024: In an idyllic setting at the Jeu de Paume hotel in Chantilly. We did not know that the chef was a Robespierre of the restaurant business. We ordered a very classic shrimp and avocado salad as well as the foie gras and to treat ourselves, the oscietre caviar from Prunier. signature dish. Finally, the strawberry pistachio ice cream is a menu out of the ordinary, it’s true. To overcome the long wait for service, the Taitainger champagne was lukewarm and not chilled but hey… Surprise, the salad where the pieces of shrimp and avocado could be counted on the finger of one hand was very weak. If you think you're having foie gras with 2 small toasts and a little chutney, don't think about it: Forbidden by the boss…. The caviar placed on a plate and not even opened at the chef's discretion it seems, was not on a bed of ice as it should be.... Finally the ice cream didn't break 3 pieces of pasta for a duck... That said, the bill was correct and 2 glasses of wine were offered…. Very long waiting time for service. I dare to hope that the starred restaurant of this establishment does not have the same chef otherwise it will be a French revolution in the heart of royalty. It's time for him to go to the other side of the ring road to see if things are different...

05/09/2024: I knew Lusitalia from the beginning before this brand opened Franchises. Until 2-3 years ago it was really good, generous pizzas but I really have the impression that the quantities of toppings are decreasing while we still pay the same price. And that's one thing that makes me cold about the idea of ​​ordering from you as a priority. I know you must have profitability guidelines but here is my opinion, a bit of a shame.

Apparently not the only one after consulting several neighbors!! And given the communications and discussions in town I will never go eat there! 09/07/2024: Arrived just before midday on a Sunday. Discovered a scone shop without scones. Ran out of fish and chips. Ran out of bread for club sandwiches. After 1.5hrs after opening, only 1 meal was available with no other meal was offered other than the full English breakfast which we couldn’t eat. I believe it may be due to poor management of supply and demand - management seem to be incompetent? Not having food just after opening? The young lady at the store did her best for managing everything on her own. We were there for 1 hour and we did not see others to support her, she tried to smile but I can tell she was also frustrated she had to handle all the store on her own, we were friendly but nonetheless she made us wait 30 minutes before letting us know the cafe had essentially no food - only the full English breakfast. She did not mention other food was available. I feel management is to blame to put 1 person to: take all orders across all tables, cook all the food, manage takeaway orders, deal with people shopping in the store and manage the pay counter. Poor lady. Clearly for me, management considers profits over customers satisfaction. Also, the place looks very dated - the mat at the front door was very dirty. I take responsibility for coming to this place, as I should have read the other recent poor comments before coming here. I hope other customers read this and avoid this place like the plague to avoid being disappointed like me. I only hope management look at this comment, seriously take true ownership, make no excuses, without being defensive, and fix systemic issues you are facing rather than blame customers who experienced poor service due to poor management. You only have 1 moment that matters to make customers happy and it seems that you have not achieved this across many customers recently. I genuinely hope you improve as having a nice chantilly in Chantilly would have been a treat. Unfortunately we couldn’t experience this with you and left a bad taste in our mouths ☹️
