27/08/2024: 🍽FOOD - 4 of 5 I ordered beef with bean, which was well done with great sauce. Foe deserve I ordered tarte which was OK. I didn't ordered champagne but they accidentally served me one which was so good but didn't know that it was 18€!!!

27/11/2024: My husband and I stopped at Malabar on our first night in Paris, as our hotel was around the corner. It ended up being our favorite place(We stopped by a few more times while in the city.)! A comfy, cozy restaurant with wonderful food and wine and welcoming staff. Shout out to Harry, our waiter, who was so much fun! Hope to return to Paris in the future and stop at this little gem of a place!
24/11/2024: Quaint and cosy original corner street bar serving food and drinks. Our champagne was served in eclectic glasses. Service is good and the staff are nice.

10/09/2024: The steak was good but not great. The sauce was excellent, as was the salad; the meat slightly chewy. It was correctly made to order. However, the Duck Confit was heavenly. One of the best treats in Paris. The prices are very fair considering the vicinity to some major attractions.

27/11/2024: It was a disappointing experience despite the nice view of the Eiffel Tower, earning it 2 stars. Service was poor—one waiter spilled soup on a guest with no offer to help, and a waitress rudely dropped off dishes without explanation. The limited prix fixe menu included octopus or pigeon, with fish and veal only offered after asking. The veal was overcooked, and the replacement dish still had issues. Management was unhelpful, promising a discount but not applying it, while dismissing complaints. Overall, this restaurant felt like a tourist trap with rude staff, subpar food, and no accountability. Avoid wasting your time or money.

Soit on souhaite un beau lieu avec un diner sous une véranda avec vue sur la tour Eiffel (qui clignote toutes les heures) avec un menu à un certain prix qui se veux bistronomique et alors c'est un bon endroit. Soit on cherche une belle cuisine avec un rapport qualité-prix satisfaisant et alors ce n'est pas parfait (entrée vegan quelconque, viande bien cuite avec des accompagnements standards, dessert en dessous de la norme). Ceci explique donc les différences d'appréciation. Vins satisfaisants. Par ailleurs, service aimable et rapide.

01/07/2024: I'm confused by the number of average and negative reviews of this restaurant. My first experience eating here was wonderful. It was a perfect evening; we ate outside; the food was delicious; the service was friendly and prompt. Perfect Paris evening adjacent to a beautiful church and park.
18/06/2024: I discovered this place on Google, and it turned out to be quite nice. The food was excellent, and although the staff could have been more efficient, I appreciated the restaurant's decor. It was refreshing to find a relaxed spot amidst the usual crowds in Paris.

02/08/2024: Lovely spot, good service, but needs to tighten up a bit.
I generally avoid too much salt, so when I find food to be under-seasoned, that runs a flag up the pole for me. My squid on polenta or such like (see, not quite worth remembering) just ended up being mess on a plate. My wife wasn't impressed at all, despite the dish reading well on the menu.
As I say, good service. Wine excellent, and just tighten up and the place will be much better for it in my view.
08/05/2024: Assez déçu, pas extraordinaire et surtout assez cher :
- 2 cocktails 28 € , Ok, mais sans accompagnement à grignoter c'est mesquin (olives ou cacahouètes ou n'importe quoi), .
- Le rumsteak black angus avec pommes grenailles , 34 €. C'est plutôt banal et très cher pour de la viande pas hyper tendre nerveuse froide et quelques patates.
- Les desserts : Tiramisu café = Bon. L'assiette de fromage par contre, très radin sur la quantité (3 petits morceaux) !
Dans l'ensemble une addition de 110 € injustifiée avec la sensation d'avoir trop payé.
pour la direction : soyez plus généreux sur les quantités, mettez de quoi grignoter avec les cocktails, servez des plats chauds, changez de boucher.

26/12/2023: This is a pleasant surprise. The owner is very friendly and welcoming even with a language barrier. We do greatly appreciate his patience to explain the menu and the effort for the freshly made sandwich and coffee. Highly recommend their avocado sandwich and the double espresso.

23/09/2024: Very lively atmosphere, great food, friendly service, nothing not to like here. Oysters were fabulous, ditto the chocolate layer cake. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes both solid. Recommended. Do make reservations!

01/10/2024: It's not bad, but I don't recommend it.
I visited this morning after making a lunch reservation on the website.
There are no particular advantages. The taste and service are so-so.
It's ok for the price
If you order a steak, use the knife that comes with the straight side, which is what we think of as the back side, not the round side. All other Koreans use the round side, but it doesn't cut, but it cuts with force. Haha.
28/09/2024: Very noisy..impossible to talk to each other...average quality..steak tartare cut with a knife is cut by machine...small portion of fish

21/09/2024: Had dinner in this lovely restaurant. The people working there were incredibely nice and welcoming. The food was ready in no time and very delicious. Best thing - not so pricey but good quality! Who expected that my Pizza would turn out heart-shaped? What a nice surprise! What else can I say? Good job, keep it up. Looking forward to visiting you again.

15/08/2024: Very good and fine on the plate (veal sweetbreads among others) with a pleasant setting. Efficient service without being burdensome.
All this has a price, but on the (quite crazy) scale of the 7th arrondissement we can consider that it is an address to recommend.
20/07/2024: Superb! A very high quality meal with classical French cooking and an interesting menu. Good portions. The recommended wine was delicious. Pudding also delicious. Lovely service (and convenient for the Eiffel Tower. ). Good value for such high end food.
Will definitely come back.
