20/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant by chance! But what a surprise—a true culinary delight and impeccable service. La Poule au Pot has become my go-to spot! My advice: go without hesitation and enjoy!

25/02/2026: The beer wasn't bad at all, not too expensive for the 7th arrondissement. But the Aldi charcuterie board at 31 euros... that's just not possible. Sorry.

13/03/2026: As expected of a famous place, the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere is tidy, and the lemon cake was really delicious. It has a terrace, and with the Eiffel Tower nearby, it is a great cafe to stop by for a break. However, it is not a cafe suitable for working, as it is difficult to use a laptop there.

10/03/2026: Too expensive for the quality . 6.7 for small water (bottled water was not requested) and 10.8 for coke is not fair. Ambience was nice though.

02/03/2026: The food was good but I felt the service was where the issue was. I was overcharged for the drinks and when I asked, the server claimed to not speak English. However, the server was able to ask me for a tip amount before charging my card. I felt scammed.

24/02/2026: While having coffee with family outside of peak hours, and despite plenty of empty seats both indoors and outdoors, we were repeatedly glared at and verbally shooed away twice by a bespectacled male server. I don't think nearly €30 for afternoon tea for four is cheap; if our seats were reserved and needed tidying, they could have simply informed me. We left before 6:30 PM, before most Parisian French restaurants open for dinner, and there was no wait. If the restaurant has any time restrictions on seating, please specify. I've lived in Paris for three years, and it's common to see people ordering drinks and chatting, reading, or working in cafes and restaurants; I've never witnessed such behavior. I'm unsure if this is a specific rule of this restaurant or special treatment targeting Asian people.

26/03/2026: What can I say? It's a beautiful place to have a good time, but here's the problem: poor management by the staff regarding the young people who shout and talk loudly without anyone telling them off for their lack of respect towards the other customers. The manager prefers talking to the girls on the terrace instead of keeping an eye on the other customers... in short, a daycare for disrespectful kids.

02/03/2026: Overall, I was quite disappointed. It is unfortunate that you cannot get *decaffeinated* coffee, especially for a coffee shop, this should really be a basic option. On top of that, it was not possible to add avocado even for an extra charge, although this was indicated in the app, which was confusing and misleading. I also found the place rather expensive, particularly considering the lack of flexibility. I understand that a complete change of a dish may not always be possible, but simple adjustments like removing an ingredient or swapping it for something cheaper should normally be manageable. Not allowing any small changes does not feel very customer-friendly. The service itself was ok,, but overall the café seems quite rigid and expensive for what it offers.

01/02/2026: I visited for the first time today and was quite surprised to be denied a small taste of the batch brew before buying. It’s a standard practice I follow at every new specialty cafe to ensure the roast profile fits my preference. Unfortunately, being told 'no' made the experience feel unwelcoming. Exceptional 1 star

16/02/2026: Honestly... a truly wonderful place in Paris! The traditional cuisine is high-quality, delicious, and exquisitely refined. The service is impeccable and professional. The manager, who works lunchtimes (but not dinnertimes, unfortunately), just like the food, makes you want to come back. And I will return to Françoise's with great pleasure!

23/02/2026: Nice setting, fairly simple, quick service, but I'm really not convinced by the quality of the food. You can always argue about taste, but for me, if I take the creamy soup starter as an example, there was far too much cream in the recipe. The fish (sea bass) main course was very good, but again, the sauce had way too much cream. And the dessert, a pistachio cream, was so dense it was like cement, though it did have a good pistachio flavor. The bread: not at all the quality you'd expect from a French restaurant. The price of 22 euros for the starter and main course combo is frankly ridiculous, it deserves a 6-euro discount for the quality of the food. Again, friendly waiters, quick service, but not the food quality you'd expect from a French restaurant. Our gastronomy and our culinary heritage deserve better.

13/11/2025: Elegant setting in a private mansion near the Musée d'Orsay, impeccable and attentive service, meal served in a cozy private dining room. We loved the Chef's cuisine, flawless, wonderful discoveries, beautiful presentation, and truly exceptional flavors... We will be back soon for another culinary adventure. Louisiane and Bertrand

11/03/2026: A memorable experience. A two-hour wait for our food. Customers who arrived after us drank their tea while we were still waiting. We ordered a rare beef fillet, which arrived with a charred crust on top and was overcooked inside. I was told it was seared and cooked correctly, but they wouldn't remake it. The fillet was dry, with an unpleasant burnt taste. The fries were cold. No gesture of goodwill, no interest in customer satisfaction.

It really is one of the best restaurants I could try in these three days in Paris, chef Stephane Reynaud rocked all the dishes we ate here, I've never eaten such good octopus, I'm in love and I want to share this experience with us

25/12/2024: We come from Strasbourg to dine in this bistro, everything is excellent; that leaves us baba... which is excellent, the baba au rhum, served with 3 different rums to suit your taste!

13/03/2026: My wife and I were in Paris for a few days and we found this restaurant,so we said let’s take a shot . Being Italian and from NYC, the food was amazing and the 2 ladies in front were so friendly and welcoming. We had planned on going back again for the pizza and ravioli but as things go we just didn’t have time. I would love to go back again 1 day

06/03/2026: Even though I'm not usually a big fan of Italian food, I was pleasantly surprised: everything was really delicious. I even tried a truffle pizza. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere very pleasant. My only slight criticism: the white wine by the glass could have been a bit better selected.
