05/03/2026: A true local pub, a classic spot opposite the Louvre-Lens! Definitely a Lens institution and a great find for lunch! My carbonnade was absolutely delicious, and the fries were definitely my favorites during my stay in the region! I also really appreciate that the restaurant offers a wide variety of Northern French specialties available for purchase at the register! The waffles were very good, and I recommend trying the beer brewed on-site—a real treat for beer lovers! In short, an absolute delight, and I can't wait to go back! Thank you also for your warm welcome and your much-appreciated friendliness!

Special mention goes to the side dishes and sauces; everything was expertly prepared. A big thank you also to the team for their flexibility: I asked for baked potatoes instead of fries (even though they weren't on the menu), and they accepted without any problem. It's this kind of service that truly makes a difference. I highly recommend it, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome!

I go elsewhere when she's there. No smile, an unwavering coldness, and no customer service whatsoever—a robot would be warmer. Madam, this profession is not for you.
