After a long wait, we politely expressed our surprise at never being served, to which they coldly replied that it was normal because we had sat down at a table that had been vacated but not completely cleared. We used to love this place. Now, we receive a warmer welcome at other establishments in Biarritz.

09/09/2026: A delightful time in a surprising, eclectic setting, full of originality, including the husband's artwork scattered throughout the garden, which, like the food, is "homemade"... with its own surprises. We offer you a taste of the calf's head, Myryam's specialty (not Madeleine). Waitressing on May 1st, she generously serves her delicious cuisine with humor and a smile. A fan?? 😂 And a "diapered" cultural display 😃 in the middle of the colorful little garden—that's also what "l'auberge" is all about. Reservations are essential.

They tell you it's gluten-free, BUT IT ISN'T (they don't warn you that it doesn't have traces; they make it where they make everything else, so it all contains gluten). 2. The girl who serves you is quite rude and doesn't give you much of a chance to explain.

16/09/2026: A lovely discovery, although the pintxos were a bit of a letdown (the bread was a little soggy). However, the hot dishes were excellent! An authentic and pleasant place! The service was fantastic!

30/08/2026: Where do I even begin? I hesitated to call Philippe Etchebest, but I'm afraid even he wouldn't have been able to salvage this restaurant. I ordered a three-meat taco and ended up with a stale meat patty for the outrageous sum of €15. Thanks for the rip-off! But that's not all. My two friends ordered equally disappointing burgers. In short, I paid €50 for spending the night in the bathroom.

31/08/2026: The best coffee and matcha in biarritz!! I would definitely recommend the bigger sizes, because they are more worthwile from the price than the smaller ones. I really loved the coffee there, though it may be a bit strong for some people.

16/09/2026: The cocktails we ordered were quite weak and expensive. Also the tables not clean. Probably wouldn't go here again.

30/05/2026: A small hotel with a beautiful view of Port-Vieux Beach. We had a deluxe room, plenty of space, and it was very clean. All the amenities and furniture were in good condition. The breakfast was modest—continental—but reasonably priced. You can also order an omelet or other items from the menu for an extra fee. There's no elevator, but the staff carried our luggage up and out of the room. Overall, our stay was very good. I'd love to come back and spend more time there.
