12/10/2024: Yesterday I bought 1 kilo of telines. The next day, having taken care to put them in the fridge, I had the unpleasant surprise to notice that they did not open when cooked. As a result, I bought expired shellfish from this store. I called this merchant who told me there was nothing he could do. In conclusion, I do not recommend this business at the risk of getting sick. I will immediately notify the hygiene department for further action.

05/09/2024: We reserved a table but that didn't stop the barman looking down his nose at us. When he told the waitress we were the 20:30 reservation, she couldn't have been less pleased.
We were shown to a table but not offered drinks. We waited 15 mins for service, meanwhile the waitress went into the street for 5 mins to make a phone call. She explained the delay as her dealing with a ' problem '.
Food was fine but the atmosphere, rudeness & being ignored soured our stay. Plus there was a large group of Australians who were extremely loud & uncaring about disturbing those around them.

11/09/2024: We love the place for the atmosphere and its location next to the market. Ordering a wine or a glass of wine with foie gras sandwiches is the most typical thing, although the bread may fail a little, but my rating is very positive.
05/09/2024: Amazing food , service, location.. . No toilet! At all.
Good menu, but with foie gras only one simple tapas … strange for such a name of the place.

If the hotel is a little aging, this is largely compensated by the kindness and kindness of all the hotel staff.
Thank you to everyone (maids, catering staff, reception staff, concierge staff, etc.) for this incredible welcome which enhanced our stay
20/09/2024: Hotel to avoid, it was extraordinary 15 years ago, today (staff, meals etc.) You will be better off in a Mercure..

Far be it from me to be mean, but frankly at the price it costs, this quality is still making fun of the world!
Even more by the sea!
It was tasteless, very little taste, the fish stood out from the rice and on top of that you have to pay for your sauces, it's excessive.
No soup or small coleslaw offered, everything is extra for a very high price!
PS: be careful, if you order delivery, don’t forget to order your baguettes!
22/10/2024: Very nice atmosphere & decoration. Great service. But above all a taste treat! The little booklet for choosing is readable, clear and a very good idea. We were able to discover new recipes under the good advice of the waiter. Thank you 👌🙏

08/09/2024: Very nice location, nice restaurant, reasonable prices. But- the waiter made us wait so long, about 35 minutes, until we left again. He couldn't/wouldn't even take drinks for us. We probably weren't "establishment" or "haute couture" enough. The way people usually hang out in Biarritz. But then it's a good thing we didn't stay. Drink your wine alone and eat some fishy oysters... it is not mine. Not from my little daddy either.

11/08/2024: We enjoyed the stay the rooms is nice with sea view. Breakfast is great but location is a bit far from Center. You need to walk down hill about 20 minutes and bus service is not regular. Parking is expensive and limited.
26/07/2024: I was due to stay here and can’t travel for medical reasons. I prepaid for my booking via AMEX (at the same rate as on the website at the time) not realising that meant not cancellable. I provided two days notice and the hotel will not even offer a credit note even though the hotel is nowhere near full capacity for my two night stay.
I get the sense they are struggling financially, hence an unwillingness to offer any solution. The other hotel where we were due to stay issued a credit note with no fuss.

10/08/2024: No interest, tasteless pizzas despite the long list of ingredients, super thin and soft dough, it looks like a tortilla, it doesn't look like pizza dough, you wonder if it's fresh. And the price, €15 for a basic pizza with very few toppings, to take away, it’s even more expensive than in Paris…
07/08/2024: Great looking location. Friendly enough and very fast.
I had quattro formagio and it was excellent. My son had Al Pesto pizza, and it was ok but a little bland.
Food cooked in proper pizza oven which is always good.
2 pizzas, 2 cokes expect to pay 35 euros

- Very friendly welcome
- Very poor soundproofing of rooms. We can hear the people in the next room simply chatting among themselves or watching TV.

17/09/2024: Great ! A very pleasant welcome, by a charming and attentive young girl. I was even able to visit a room the day before my reservation, to get an idea. Very quiet location with a view of the ocean from the small balcony. Very very good stay, I highly recommend this establishment!

01/10/2024: Pour trois jours à Biarritz je fais le choix de me rendre au Café des artistes pour sa bonne réputation. Une fois sur place je suis informé du changement de direction depuis juillet. Le concept est très intéressant et globalement bon rapport qualité prix. Par contre mon expérience de ce soir donne lieu à un avis mitigé sur le service. J'attends 25 mns avant la prise de commande. Caché par des clients au comptoir mis en place après mon arrivée j'ai carrément été oublié par la serveuse qui se justifie car elle avait "un sujet à traiter avec le gérant". Ce dernier qui n'accorde d'ailleurs aucune importance pour le client que je suis et qui attend depuis près de 30 mns. Sur la carte à l'extérieur est annoncé velouté de potimarron finalement il s'agira sans explication d'un velouté de butternut qui m'est servi 35 mns après mon arrivée froid. Je suis même obligé de demander si c'est prévu comme ça. Finalement non et mon velouté repart en cuisine. Porte des toilettes que l'on ne peut pas fermer (loquet a disparu). Au moment du paiement aucune excuse de la serveuse sur le retard cumulé avec le velouté froid.
30/09/2024: Des mets de choix habilement cuisinés le tout dans une ambiance à coupé le souffle.
Entre amis, en famille ou pour un repas d'affaire ce lieu convient à toutes les situations

29/11/2024: Belle surprise en découvrant la crêperie "le blé noir" et son menu à 15,90€ (entrée thonade, galette 3 ingrédients et dessert).
Accueil souriant, carte complète et variée de galettes, prix corrects pour Biarritz. Moyennant des suppléments, nous avons pris deux menus et demandé une galette plus élaborée.
Les crêpes sont généreuses et bien garnies.
Endroit et ambiance agréables, je recommande.
26/09/2024: Se trata de una excelente crepería que sirve una amplia gama de crepes salados y dulces. Nos sentamos dentro (han reformado bien el interior desde nuestra última visita en 2018 ) pero también hay una terraza. Está situado justo al lado del mar y disfrutamos de hermosas vistas de la puesta de sol sobre el mar. El servicio fue rápido y cortés y los precios son muy razonables.
