21/07/2026: Inside the Les Halles market in Biarritz, amidst a multitude of food stalls, we stumbled upon this little gem.
You can eat sitting at the counter, watching the cook skillfully prepare crepes and galettes, or outside the market where there are a few tables. We opted for the counter, and although it was busy at first, a spot soon became available.
We tried galettes, which we hadn't tried before, and we loved them—a kind of flatbread with various fillings that's prepared and eaten fresh. For dessert, we had some delicious traditional crepes, also with a variety to choose from, and our favorite was the Nutella crepe. It was a real find, discovered by chance, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
31/05/2026: Nice crepe but the service was poor. We sat there for a long time waiting for the lady to serve us. I don't think they like tourists much.

24/05/2026: Appalling! A complete lack of professionalism. A table booked two days in advance, but no chef in the kitchen on the day. I can understand the absence, but not the fact that we weren't notified!

08/07/2026: The payment terminal had a technical issue. Although my bank had already approved the first Apple Pay transaction, I was required to pay a second time before leaving. No reassurance or solution was offered in case both payments were eventually captured. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful.

16/07/2026: Saturday night, nobody was there, and you waited 20 minutes for 3 pizzas with a swarm of flies—it was disgusting.
The guy talks a lot, and as soon as you place your order, he drops his mask. Avoid at all costs.

02/05/2026: A delightful time in a surprising, eclectic setting, full of originality, including the husband's artwork scattered throughout the garden, which, like the food, is "homemade"... with its own surprises.
We offer you a taste of the calf's head, Myryam's specialty (not Madeleine). Waitressing on May 1st, she generously serves her delicious cuisine with humor and a smile. A fan?? 😂 And a "diapered" cultural display 😃 in the middle of the colorful little garden—that's also what "l'auberge" is all about.
Reservations are essential.

25/05/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. We greatly appreciated the kindness of Soso and his wife. We were delighted because everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, the aperitif was very convivial with excellent tapas. The meal was delicious and very generous, and the cake was superb... all this at a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment. Thank you, Soso, for your warmth, your guitar, and your kindness.
27/02/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. (And many others besides.) Thank you, and see you soon, Soso!

03/06/2026: Concert this Thursday, May 28, 2026! First up was Stan Silver and the Brave Puppies, a trio playing guitar, vocals, bass, and drums—a very effective country rock sound.
Then came the virtuoso Uli Jon Roth and his band... what can I say... it was perfect. What an evening in a friendly yet rockin' atmosphere!

17/07/2026: Discovered during a No Diet Club excursion with the wonderful local guide Caroline, we loved this place. Great menu, great wine cellar.
Our appetizer platters were delicious.
Highly recommended!
We will definitely return on our next visit to Biarritz.
