Nice menu...but the portions are too large...a nap is definitely in order.
09/11/2025: It's located halfway between Ficoba and Hendaye Beach, facing the bay with views of Hondarribia. It's a welcoming and pleasant place with an indoor dining room and a terrace. They offer an extensive wine list and fresh fish. The service is very attentive. The owner is both the waiter and the chef. It's a bistro-style restaurant with personalized service and original, delicious dishes. I went with my father, who is quite discerning, and we were both very happy. Don't forget to order dessert!

31/01/2026: A warm welcome and good quality food, as always, even if there was a bit of a wait.
However, we were very disappointed when it came time to pay: we had called in the morning to confirm that restaurant vouchers were accepted (this was important because our son wanted to treat us with his first vouchers), but in the end, it was impossible to use them on the bill.
This was a very embarrassing moment for him, and we had to pay by credit card.
It's a shame; we really felt like we were lured in by being told yes on the phone, only to be presented with a fait accompli at the checkout.

Our little dog was also very welcome.
We had a very good lunch; the galettes were excellent and the ingredients were high quality.
We had a very pleasant time.
27/12/2025: The cookies were delicious, the service was excellent, we had ordered the savory and sweet ones separately, and they recommended we order the "special offer". The atmosphere of the place was wonderful, a quiet and welcoming spot. As soon as we sat down, they put a bottle of fresh water on the table. We had a very pleasant meal there.

23/02/2026: I used to come here and I really liked it, but I'm very disappointed. My order wasn't respected, I couldn't eat my Americano, and there was a long wait… I won't be going back. I went to get something to eat at the casino next door!

02/09/2024: When I arrived home, everything was cold and inedible, I threw everything away
I called the restaurant to inform them, the manager told me that it was normal that they were understaffed, and that generally, the hamburgers were eaten cold.
That if I wanted I would come back so he could make me some fries again, but not the burgers
This is unacceptable, and the manager was very, very vulgar and rude to me

Ok it's McDonald's but in fast food, there is fast!!
Fortunately there are cockroaches to keep us company...

09/12/2025: A quick stop for a drink. The menu looked tempting, so I decided to eat there. I chose pork cheek with truffle-infused dauphinoise potatoes: sublime. A small, family-run bistro – go there, you won't be disappointed.
26/10/2025: Coffee with milk for €3! Served in dirty cups (one with lipstick marks from other customers) and burnt. The place looked a bit dirty too. We didn't try any food.

09/10/2025: Exceptional setting a few meters from the port and the beach. It's the only acceptable restaurant in the area and we were very disappointed. No water or bread at the table. The dishes offered on the menu do not exist. I told you "no paella, prawns, monkfish, fish..." said the waiter. The ham croquettes are mostly potato croquettes. The mussels with chorizo are swimming in a pink creamy sauce and most are already detached from their shells. They do not contain chorizo. The waiters are tattooed thugs in shorts. We miss the service of yesteryear in restaurants and when will there be an acceptable restaurant in this corner of Hendaye?
