04/06/2026: This is what matcha looks like according to this café. A large glass of milk with vanilla syrup and maybe 1 gram of pastry-grade matcha, all sold for €7 under the name "vanilla cloud matcha."
I can't comment on the other drinks and pastries, but it's a disgrace in 2026 to sell this as matcha, especially at a price higher than what you'd pay at a café specializing in quality Japanese matcha. They might as well not offer matcha at all if it's going to be of such terrible quality.

06/04/2026: Meh. Mixed feelings. I ordered a Mafé, and they served me a Yassa (I didn't say anything). The Yassa wasn't bad in itself, but it didn't taste like a Yassa. The starter (acradles) and dessert (coconut cake) were good, but nothing special. The decor was dated, and the tableware was a bit cheap; I can hardly recommend it. I find it rather sad in general that so many African restaurants are still somewhat amateurish, as is the case here; it's a cuisine that deserves better than that.
22/03/2026: As a group of several, we were forced to order the tasting menu, for which the portions were ridiculously small. There was enough food for a maximum of four people, and there were seven of us. One and a half samosas each, one accra each, two spoonfuls of rice each, and not enough cake for everyone. Half a meal in a nearly empty restaurant. The only positive point was that the owner was friendly. Avoid at all costs.

29/05/2026: A cabinet of curiosities, chic and intimate restaurant style in Lyon! You'll either love it or hate it, but it's definitely worth a try!
A hushed, timeless atmosphere right in the city center, with refined and incredibly flavorful cuisine.
21/05/2026: It's excellent, the food is delicious and beautifully presented!
And a special mention for Cyril, the waiter and bartender (I assume), who is simply excellent and warm in his work! He perfectly embodies the restaurant's image

The Gilardot double oyster, size 0, is opened at...almost €10 each, but...the biggest on the market 🤷♂️
Freshness is guaranteed for everything on the platter, and there's complete transparency regarding origin and fishing methods.
My few complaints: no masks during the holiday season in a rather small space, and a wait of over 40 minutes for a platter I ordered in advance for Christmas, probably due to the single till system. Also, while my platter was excellent, it was missing the box of trout roe I had paid extra for.
I recommend this fish shop to anyone for whom budget isn't the primary concern.
