08/09/2026: A disappointing experience. Cleanliness was truly lacking: tables hadn't been cleared, the floor was sticky, and the restrooms were in poor condition. The service was adequate, but it was difficult to find a comfortable place to eat under these circumstances.

16/10/2026: An absolutely outrageous lack of humanity! How can anyone justify turning away a pregnant woman who is feeling unwell, in pain, and politely asking to use the restroom? Not only was she categorically refused entry on the grounds that she didn't intend to order anything, but the staff member didn't even bother to listen to her, offer her a seat for a few moments, or simply provide her with a glass of water. The only thing they could think to do was escort her to the door! Business sense, hospitality, and above all, basic humanity seem to be foreign concepts to this establishment. We're not asking for special treatment, just a minimum of consideration for a pregnant woman who isn't feeling well. BRAVO for this display of contempt and lack of empathy! Refusing any assistance in such a situation is simply disgraceful! A deeply shocking experience that speaks volumes about how some people choose to treat others... Make your choices before giving them a single penny... This establishment should be avoided, or the staff urgently needs replacing!!

15/10/2026: Avoid at all costs, not at all customer-oriented, you have excellent places to eat on rue des marronniers just opposite.

12/10/2026: There are so many clubs in Lyon, I see no reason to go to Azar. The worst location attracts the worst people, with an incredibly unpleasant staff. Avoid it.

12/10/2026: I'm speechless at the level of incompetence at this place. Bouncers treat their customers like dogs (even those who paid a fortune for their tickets...) but are nowhere to be found during fights (which happen every two seconds), DJs can't communicate with each other, there are sound problems, a lack of staff, an undesirable location—in short, it's hard to imagine anything worse... Avoid it at all costs...

15/10/2026: The waiter this Thursday morning (7:30) was really very grumpy (okay... that's understandable, it happens) but what's more! He served me a hot chocolate with whipped cream instead of a coffee with whipped cream, even though I had explicitly asked three times for NO CHOCOLATE! Imagine if I had been allergic??

19/09/2026: Avoid at all costs! The waiter was overwhelmed with 10 customers, wiped his forehead with his hand, and then served me: disgusting! I didn't touch a thing! Not a smile, not friendly at all! Honestly, there are other great cafes out there, this one is a no-go! Next!

14/09/2026: Terrible welcome and hygiene needs to be reassessed A decidedly unpleasant experience. Being seven months pregnant, I absolutely needed a break and a seat after a long walk around Lyon. They seated us inside, but immediately asked us to move tables, claiming the area was reserved for lunchers, as we just wanted a drink. The ridiculous thing is that shortly afterward, a friend of the owner sat down at the table they had moved us from for a simple espresso, and the exact same scene repeated itself a short while later with another regular. A truly unprofessional double standard. The older waiter was arrogant and downright rude (the only positive note was the kindness of the younger man at the counter). To top it all, €4.50 for a Coke and a bathroom with a terrible sewer smell that made me nauseous. Not recommended.

17/06/2026: If you enjoy having a drink in a construction site atmosphere, go for it, guys. The owner in the hat provides the sound effects himself by screwing the chairs together while serving... He's also saving energy... The owner in the hat adds a touch of mystery... but unfortunately, not a good mood!

07/09/2026: I came with my girlfriend to ask for a glass of water because it's a heatwave and we couldn't find a shop. The waitress immediately told us no without even saying hello or goodbye. A very bad experience; I don't recommend it. The waitress was very unpleasant.

01/09/2026: The food itself is delicious, just like in all McDonald's. I can't say anything about cleanliness, since I picked up my order at home. The hallway where they give out orders looks more or less acceptable. However, I didn't like that I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. Half of the ordering machines weren't working, and some were slow. When I came in the evening, some of the machines didn't have any paper to issue a receipt for payment. Overall, my impressions were average.

31/08/2026: ⭐ 1/5 — A completely abandoned restaurant I came on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and it was simply appalling. The dining room was dirty, the tables hadn't been cleaned, the trash was overturned, and the toilets and furniture were in disrepair. The chairs were so wobbly that I had to replace them three times! Table service is nonexistent, the service is extremely slow, and the staff seems clearly understaffed and unfriendly. And the prices have become exorbitant for such poor service. The most unbelievable part? The restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday night, while KFC, Quick, and the other restaurants nearby were packed. It really feels like McDonald's France has completely abandoned this restaurant and no longer wants to invest in it. At this rate, they might as well let Burger King take over, which could certainly make better use of such a location. A truly deplorable experience. I won't be returning anytime soon.
