22/03/2026: The food was of good quality but lacking in quantity. The veranda area was not very well heated.

21/03/2026: We came for a drink in the early evening, but the prices were exorbitant. Once we were served, after 10-15 minutes the waiter came back to ask if we wanted to order more or pay, even though we hadn't finished our drinks. I found that inappropriate. Lacking tact. The waiter was unwelcoming, unfriendly, and clearly bored with his job. Overall, I was disappointed and it was overpriced. Avoid it.

18/05/2026: The price was relatively high considering the amount of food. Fortunately, the leftovers on the placemat were enough to whet my appetite.

09/05/2026: Hello! A restaurant where the meals are consistently delicious, made with top-quality ingredients. The staff and management are excellent, taking great care of their customers (a very warm welcome). They pay special attention to children, which is rarely found elsewhere. Thank you very much! 15/04/2026: I'm not a gambler; I went into the establishment to admire the architecture and decor. Everything is beautiful, shiny, bursting with a thousand colors, plus there's a small "museum" corner, which is of questionable quality but transports you back to the old slot machines.

13/04/2026: Unpleasant welcome from a young man at the security checkpoint, rude and haughty bartender with tattoos. If that's how she wants to sell those €17 packs of cigarettes, it's expensive. A smile costs nothing. Beautiful casino.

12/06/2026: What nice people on staff and what good food! We got there hungry and found out they hadn't opened. But we were able to sit down and have a drink. Just when they opened the food was on the table. Really good burgers and super friendly staff. If you're in Aix I can only recommend them!

31/05/2026: Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. My friends and I ordered burgers after being told the meat was halal. However, the burgers also contained non-halal bacon, which wasn't clearly stated when we ordered. When we pointed out the problem at the register, the manager repeatedly insisted he had warned us, which wasn't true. This bad faith was particularly disappointing. He also explained that he was in a rush and hadn't paid attention to our order. Yet, the restaurant was practically empty, and there were only two customers before us, making this excuse hard to understand. Beyond the mistake itself, it was the lack of transparency and the failure to acknowledge the error that disappointed us most. For customers who care about these dietary issues, clear and explicit information is essential. Mistakes can happen, but they must be acknowledged, and lessons learned must be taken. It's regrettable, because until now we had a good image of this establishment.

04/07/2025: During a business trip, we booked a room at this hotel for its proximity and convenience. The room was functional and standard, suitable for one night, but a small refrigerator would have been appreciated, especially in the heat. We had been proactive in asking if we could check in a little early, as we might arrive very late. The staff was very understanding and accommodating, which is worth noting. However, a mistake was made when giving us the card: the wrong room key, which prevented us from entering. We had to contact reception to have someone let us in. Another small drawback: breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m., which is a little early, especially for a hotel. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and everything was already tidied up. Fortunately, upon our departure, we were kindly offered a croissant and a pain au chocolat, which we greatly appreciated. In summary: a practical hotel, with a good welcome despite a few awkward moments. Suitable for a short business trip.

01/07/2025: The young man at reception did everything he could to help us and resolve a problem with a door and key that wasn't working. He was very pleasant and friendly, thank you. The room was clean and quiet, with excellent air conditioning. I recommend it.

24/05/2026: We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Furthermore, the location is ideal for exploring the city center. We recommend it!

25/05/2026: We were disappointed with our stay at the Hotel Adelphia in Aix-les-Bains. Our room didn't have air conditioning, which made our stay uncomfortable. The grounds were poorly maintained: dirty, uncleaned tables, no parasols, etc. Furthermore, the staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming.

28/04/2026: We were greeted on April 11, 2026, by a very unpleasant person. She kept repeating "hello" to us, and I didn't understand why I was looking at my daughter. The saleswoman said, "Is that why I'm saying this?" I replied that I had said hello to her upon entering, as had my daughter, who didn't understand and said hello to her several times. She replied that she hadn't heard me. I always say hello when entering a place. I will not return because the saleswoman was very unpleasant.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.
