The restaurant brilliantly different, intimate but private.
We came here celebrating our 70th birthdays and can't fault it.
The food was fabulous all made by Michel the entertainment by Michel again fabulous.
Would definitely return.

Lunch on a shaded terrace and enjoy a beautiful setting, nothing better to have a good time.
A friendly and efficient waitress
And simply delicious dishes,
with a gizzard salad as a starter that would make some restaurants in the South West green with envy,
and to follow a beef skewer with pepper sauce for me... yum-yum!!
And a pork pluma (and its little vegetables) which delighted my man's taste buds...
An exquisite strawberry Pavlova was served to us to end this delicious moment.
We recommend and will come back with pleasure.

We were a table of sex and enjoyed the whole menu with wonderful wines
26/09/2024: Cosy restaurant in the city centre.The have a 3 course menu plus a few dishes a la carte. We chose the menu, the starters were good, the main dishes not so much, and the desserts were just ok but it makes the deal if one is around.

24/09/2024: Very warm welcome at the Jardin des Lys, a perfect place to relax, especially as a spa visitor!
Hearty breakfast with fresh produce and delicious homemade jams.
The rooms are pleasant and cozy, a little cocoon not far from the city center.
I would happily come back, thank you for everything!

Marta and Thierry are two incredibly kind hosts.
Their house is beautiful and warm. Very well placed in the village. Close to the city center but quiet with a splendid garden.
Without forgetting Marta's cooking skills.
Only one regret: not having taken more time to rebuild the world with us lovely hosts.

The dishes are refined, very well presented and the quantities are there.
You had the choice with several menus presented on the menu and they are varied enough to suit everyone's tastes.
The setting of the restaurant is very good with a small, shaded and quiet outdoor terrace. The tables are spaced far enough apart so as not to face other customers.

18/09/2024: Second time visiting here to eat. We both had a galette ( savoury) and a crepe ( sweet). Both freshly made and really good. There are very few restaurants in Montmorillon that offer veggie options. The owner of the restaurant who serves is also friendly and helpful.
24/08/2024: Very warm and professional welcome.. Magnificent terrace with a beautiful view of the river.. Excellent, very delicious pancakes.. Top meal.
Best creperie in the region. Bravo and thank you.
I highly recommend without hesitation.

Le soir, week-end et jours fériés, repas à la carte un peu plus cher mais de très bonne qualité.

17/10/2024: Très très belle surprise avec ce restaurant que j'ai connu il y a une vingtaine d'années et qui était loin de fournir de tels prestations.
Le repas était excellent de l'apéritif au dessert.
Une piña colada très bonne
Un croustillant d'escargot à tomber par terre.
Un veau délicieux
Et pour finir un crumble de pêches exquis.
Notre serveuse était dynamique et professionnelle.
Je recommande vivement ce restaurant et j'y reviendrais avec plaisir.

01/08/2024: We ate three people 1 royal couscous and one sheep couscous 🐑 merguez and the third feta merguez. All three of us agree, very warm and friendly welcome, the couscous was excellent and plentiful, the bill was reasonable with the aperitif, drinks and desserts, thanks to the Marmite Berbère team.

13/09/2024: Being in Bignoux with my partner we ate Thursday evening this evening, we simply enjoyed the food is excellent from starter to dessert🥰. The welcome is top notch. When we come back to the area, we will be very happy to eat in this restaurant again.

The bo buns are excellent, the Katy shrimp are great, and then the chocolate spring rolls with homemade salted butter caramel are a treat.
