20/06/2026: What a great find! We went two weeks ago before our holiday and again today on our return.
Don't be surprised by the generous portions... We haven't tried everything, but the pizzas and salads are already excellent and very filling.
The owners are super friendly. You need to make a reservation by leaving a message on the voicemail... They'll call you back a little while later to confirm. A great find! 👍

The room was very quiet and comfortable.
Dinner was very good, as was the wine.
There is ample parking.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We were just passing through for one night.
The room is simple but comfortable and overlooks a pretty garden.
The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced! And the mango jam is delicious!!!! Thank you again for everything.

08/08/2026: Since its acquisition, we've been to the restaurant twice, in July and August 2026. The food was excellent, the welcome warm, and the atmosphere very pleasant. Kudos to the owners for offering something new. Montmorillon really needed that.

Even though we weren't truck drivers, we received a very warm welcome and were served quickly. Thank you for being open in the evening. I recommend this restaurant.

The soy sauce and coconut pearls were truly exceptional. The service was impeccable; we asked for takeout, and they wrapped up the leftovers and put them in a bag for us. I highly recommend it.

Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The cuisine is traditional, generous, and 100% homemade. Simple, delicious, and honest food.
The set menu at €17 (well-stocked appetizer buffet, flavorful main course, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine) is excellent value for money. A real gem on the road, highly recommended.

31/08/2026: Friendly people in themselves, but I think the cook just wasn't in the mood. The food was cold, the chicken breast dried out (probably fried and reheated much earlier), far too little sauce (because it was so dry), and the mashed potatoes were just cold, not even lukewarm. The fries were nicely browned but also chewy and limp. A shame, I wish them well.
30/08/2026: I loved this place; it was so warm and welcoming! And also so quiet! (No clattering of forks, no kitchen noise) It was truly delightful! The staff were also very friendly; we came for an appetizer platter, they weren't serving them anymore, but they still managed to make us something lovely. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back!
