09/09/2024: Very good restaurant. The dishes are refined, very well presented and the quantities are there. You had the choice with several menus presented on the menu and they are varied enough to suit everyone's tastes. The setting of the restaurant is very good with a small, shaded and quiet outdoor terrace. The tables are spaced far enough apart so as not to face other customers.

18/09/2024: Second time visiting here to eat. We both had a galette ( savoury) and a crepe ( sweet). Both freshly made and really good. There are very few restaurants in Montmorillon that offer veggie options. The owner of the restaurant who serves is also friendly and helpful.

24/08/2024: Very warm and professional welcome.. Magnificent terrace with a beautiful view of the river.. Excellent, very delicious pancakes.. Top meal. Best creperie in the region. Bravo and thank you. I highly recommend without hesitation.

18/08/2024: Endroit hors du temps..tout est atypique et charmant. Michel se fait un devoir de combler les convives..la cuisine du terroir est délicieuse avec des produits frais..superbe découverte

15/08/2024: What a superb experience. The restaurant brilliantly different, intimate but private. We came here celebrating our 70th birthdays and can't fault it. The food was fabulous all made by Michel the entertainment by Michel again fabulous. Would definitely return.

29/07/2024: Great value for the money: food fresh and tasty, table wine actually quite nice, decebt selection of cheeses and great desserts (highly recommend the rice pudding). Very nice and friendly staff and very fast service. Worth a stop during a road trip for a quick, filling and tasty meal!

04/12/2024: Coup de chapeaux à l'équipe de serveuses et serveurs qui peinent à se frayer un chemin entre les tables un peu trop rapprochées et qui , au coup de feu, garde leur sourire et leur calme ! Sinon c'était bon et généreux mais très bruyant ( il est toujours possible d'amortir le bruit dans un restaurant ) donc le repas n'est pas reposant dommage

04/09/2024: Un repas d’anniversaire mitigé. On arrive un peu en avance, on nous remet gentiment à la porte nous disant que les cuisine commence dans 10 min; enceinte de 8 mois passé, j’ai trouvé ça très très limite de me faire attendre à la porte dehors. Je connais ce restaurant depuis des années puisque j’étais une des premières clientes de l’ancien patron.. Avec mon mari nous avons été déçus en y allant pour mon anniversaire. On demande une planche de tapas qu’on nous vends avec du fromage, des crudités et de la charcuterie.. étant végétarienne et intolérante au lactose , j’attendais le fromage de brebis/chevre et les crudités avec impatience. Au final pas un crudité, une rondelle de chèvre et un minuscule bout de fromage qu’on ne nous présente pas; Les crudités sans nous demander ont étés remplacés par des billes de mozzarella alors que j’y suis intolérante.. bref. Le plat, border végétal bon, mais rien de transcendant. Des falafels très durs et bourratives. Les frites tellement salées qu’on en a peu manges. On nous a vendu le dessert comme un mets de compétition, finalement un moelleux au chocolat bon mais comme celui de la maison. On nous compte un menu enfant mais aucun dessert n’a été présenté. Même si les produits sont bons et frais, Je trouve les prix quand même élevés et la qualité a légèrement diminuée. Le service rien à dire, personne souriante.

28/08/2024: Thanks to them! Their food truck at the Poitiers tavern delighted my 15 guests! Special mention for the donuts. I wouldn't hesitate to go see them in their restaurant in Sevres-Anxaumont. See you soon

06/08/2024: What to say ? Everything is top notch, whether it's the welcome, the service, the food. And don't forget to go and taste the cod, Wednesday is lunchtime.

15/12/2024: I was only passing through Loudun. So my review reflects the feeling of a Monday night on a dish. No one at reception. They looked like they were in juice. Knife tartare requires tender meat. This was not the case. It should have been put through a mincer. The fries were very brown. Brief. My experience was not conclusive. Edit: For the derogatory, not to say denigrating, response, I pass the rating from 2 to 1. Who do they think they are? I don't frequent any restaurant chains. Favoring small restaurateurs and large restaurants (I can easily increase my budget if the products used require it). You must have the level of a low-end chain when it comes to cooking. The welcome from a trucker is better and the quality of their dishes worthy of a Michelin star compared to you. The city is very sad with all these businesses closed. Will you be next?

05/12/2024: We booked at the last minute and no problem, very welcoming waiters and owner, top-notch meal. The pizzas are excellent with good products, a treat. We didn't sleep there, that's why I'm not rating the room, but to eat you can go there with your eyes closed!

11/07/2025: The atmosphere is friendly, the staff very welcoming and responsive, the seafood sauerkraut was excellent and the price was quite reasonable considering the quality of the products, I recommend it.

12/05/2025: An affordable lunch menu is planned for lunch (weekdays?). Gastronomic menus are offered from 49 euros, excluding wine. I took this menu and everything was very well prepared, presented, explained. If you come for lunch, allow time. This is a friendly dining place, where you have to know how to take advantage of the other guests at your table. In a hurry? Go your way.
