We ate very, very well (special mention for the Vosges fondue), the desserts were also exquisite, in a warm setting, the decor is very nice, top service, smiling waiters and excellent dishes. We found a very attentive team, it is certain that when we come back to Gerardmer we will come back to see you :)
28/03/2024: Very well decorated and very pleasant restaurant, with a large terrace on the street. We had the lunch menu: perfect in terms of quantity and quality. That day, it was raw vegetable salad/chicken in cream and mustard with fries and green beans/chocolate mousse or apple pie.
Very friendly waitress.
I recommend.

More local meat or cheese specialties can be enjoyed in a very well-designed setting.

The service is fast and the staff very welcoming
Cooking over a wood fire really brings a significant advantage to cooking meat.
However, the blueberry crumble dessert was a little too sweet for my taste but that doesn't mean we still enjoyed it.

Very good cuisine! Congratulations because delicious. 👍! But a bit of a sad atmosphere and the same service, too bad.
03/04/2024: The map is nice. It offers a vegetarian dish: a wok of spring vegetables. Except that it’s far from being a wok, more like vegetable noodles! Too bad because I was already salivating before returning. The noodles were overcooked and so were the vegetables. On the other hand, my husband had the filston tartare and enjoyed it! I think you have to stick with the classics if you don't want to be disappointed. Otherwise nice setting and good welcome

31/03/2024: Mixed review for La Géromoise.
After being recommended by the receptionist at the Hotel de la P., located less than 200 meters away, we were eager to discover this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The Vosges plate and carbonade looked promising on the menu, but the reality fell well short of our expectations. The Morteau sausage was non-existent, the salad seemed to come from a bag and the carbonade was flavorless. Even the fries seemed to have been overcooked. The waitresses did their best to compensate, but it wasn't enough to cover up the kitchen's shortcomings.
Additionally, our table was poorly placed, between the changing room and the toilets, which affected our experience.
Furthermore, I wonder if the cook is satisfied when he sends this type of dish to the dining room.
Increased attention to food quality and presentation could certainly improve the overall experience for customers. I would recommend the hotel receptionist to avoid recommending this restaurant.

08/01/2024: Meal Good but unacceptable service from a gentleman with a dark sense of humor who ruined our evening!
Disparaging remarks throughout the meal by a gentleman who was a little too full of himself (a person with graying hair and small glasses who I think, despite his 18 years of service, must be jaded by the service and especially by the people: he should take his retirement!) And we noticed that all the tables (5) which were occupied were entitled to the same service which was inappropriate for an establishment of this kind.
I do not recommend this restaurant as long as the waiter is present.
30/12/2023: We always come back with great pleasure.
More great discoveries with blends of surprising but succulent flavors. A real treat. A service worthy of a star.
