11/08/2024: A good address near the Château de Ancy le Franc, the waiter is super friendly, smiling, fast service, the menu is very affordable, fresh starter, the fish cooked to perfection and the little extra vegetables, what can we say about the dessert, the nougat praline killing...well done to the team. 22/08/2024: Ashamed to rent such a place. We lost 65 euros because we left immediately for another hotel in Auxerre. It is unacceptable to put such a dump online. Nothing to do with the photos posted online. I hope the site will make me a commercial offer!!!

19/08/2024: Travelers, go your way. No one to welcome you, the keys are on the door and you are on your own. A TV certainly in the room but no signal. Mattresses that leave something to be desired, old and with holes A beeping continues in the concierge room downstairs which is wide open. And indeed a very busy road which is quite noisy. The bathroom trash can was full when I arrived, and a dirty floor. Only a sweep has been taken. So pay 25 euros for this accommodation yes I would have understood but there 50!!!! It's theft! And last thing, the restaurant is no longer in service, it is for rent and in a state of total disrepair. Because I arrived I really thought about a squat...

12/09/2024: It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in France. Old rooms and the beds are not made. We had reserved documents in hand for a double room and a single room but they wanted to accommodate us in just one room. A non-negligible detail: we had already paid. And they were even annoyed... The staff who were not very present probably only spoke French and did nothing to understand the words in English, in fact they made fun of me because I was Italian. Probably a quality restaurant but with high prices that cannot be combined with a two star hotel. Swimming pool not particularly close and in any case invaded by wasps and bees. Parking often full (if also used by restaurant customers). Terrible experience. But the worst was by far the owner at the reception, never met anything like that… we thought we were in a TV joke… p.s. in the master bedroom there was a third bed which we had to reduce to an armchair, they didn't want to do it, and without reducing it you couldn't walk in the room...

11/09/2024: We travelled all over France on our motorcycles and stayed in some very nice hotels but the food in this hotel was by far the best and the staff were very hard working and accommodating.
