16/01/2026: Delicios food. We had crepes with meat, soup and dessert, and it's difficult to explain how good these meals were. The chocolate ice cream was superb! I’d definitely come back.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. In December 2024, I ordered an Ispahan cake. Upon arrival, the order was sold out, and we received the Ispahan Yule log. In December 2025, I ordered another Ispahan cake (serves 6-8) by phone. Upon arrival, the order hadn't been taken! 🥵 Luckily, we arrived early, and there was one left. We might avoid a third order!

05/03/2026: Excellent meal for a midweek dinner with friends. The brasserie has plenty of tables, an upstairs area, and is well laid out for a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is well located in Versailles and is beautiful. We booked through The Fork app.

08/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Versailles! The Essaouira restaurant offers authentic and generous Moroccan cuisine, with truly delicious couscous and tagines. The portions are generous, the semolina light, and the meats perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The welcome is warm, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance, with its oriental decor, is both convivial and relaxing. An excellent spot near the Versailles market to travel the world for a meal, with the added bonus of very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially if you love authentic Moroccan specialties.

01/03/2026: We wanted to order teas and a harira (there were three of us), but they told us we couldn't go inside because we had to order more, even though the restaurant wasn't full at that time (plus it was cold). The tea was okay and the harira was good. However, I won't be going back because I don't think it's right to put people outside just because they don't order plates, and we also got the impression that we weren't welcome because of our background. They didn't put napkins on the table and they put the spoon directly on the table instead of on the plate. There was also an eyelash on the bread. The Tunisian waiter, on the other hand, was pleasant. P.S. Your rude response shows the kind of person you are! * I don't recommend this place to anyone

01/03/2026: A disaster, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! For context, there were four of us, the restaurant was nearly empty, and there were only two waiters. In short: it was far from busy. YET, out of an order for four, we received: - a glass served with a hair in it, - a mass-produced brioche that was baked and served with the paper wrapping...it was very, very bland, - and a mistake on our order. All this with a waitress who clearly couldn't care less...no apology, nothing, nada... The service was already close to a zero. And as for the "food": - the waffles are certainly the cheapest you'll find at METRO (dry as a bone and tasteless), - the mass-produced brioche that you can buy yourself at your local supermarket, - and a chocolate banana tart where they clearly forgot to add pastry, chocolate, and banana. Absolutely no taste and no texture. In short, aside from the rather nice decor, there's not much positive to say. I'm from the area, and I won't be back. Tourists, steer clear.

25/02/2026: I'm here simply to share my experience. Arrived at 1:30 PM. No one greeted me, even though they saw me. I walked over to a small counter, a man came over, and I asked him for a table for four. His response was cold and without a smile: "30 minutes to an hour wait" (no hello, no goodbye). Yet, tables for two were available, and people were finishing their meals next door. I think he either didn't want the service to be prolonged or didn't like my profile. No big deal, we found a much nicer place next door with a smile.

24/06/2025: It's a disgrace. In 95-degree heat, the restaurant owner literally refused to refill my water bottle or my son's. If I could give it a star, I would have.

22/06/2025: Questionable hygiene, unfriendly service, poor value for money. I don't recommend it.

26/01/2026: So, be warned, I've eaten here several times and I really enjoyed it. But yesterday, our bo bun and pho soup were lukewarm. So, the kitchen needs to improve. Otherwise, the restaurant is very clean, with decorative lamps in a Vietnamese hat style. The food is good. We had spring rolls, bo bun, and pho soup. It's close to the Palace of Versailles, Versailles Rive Gauche train station, and St. Louis Cathedral.

23/01/2026: Tiny portion, no respect, undercooked meat (photo attached). The soup was absolutely disgusting. She was just trying to take my money.

24/02/2026: Check in was advertised till midnight and I checked in at 11:15pm Saturday night. The room very clean, and the food was tasty, there was a good range of teas available. The staff were very polite, good service. I slept quite well, and to top it off, the morning after my 1 night stay there was a small car show in the square in front of the cathedral!

24/02/2026: The hotel is just okay if you're traveling on a budget. However, they refused to give us a receipt. Not up to standard, suspicious. It'll probably close soon.

20/02/2026: Excellent Portuguese restaurant in Versailles! The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and tender. Pleasant and efficient service. I highly recommend it! 🐙

24/01/2026: So, how can I put it? The service was incredibly slow; I had to wait an hour between each course. I wasn't familiar with Portuguese cuisine, and frankly, it wasn't great. I don't know if it was the food or the restaurant itself, but I just didn't like it at all. I certainly won't be going back.

21/03/2026: No more ordering tables available, even though they're required to complete the purchase! One out of every two kiosks wasn't working, resulting in a significant wait. The service was a disaster: 25 minutes to get a Happy Meal, which was also cold because it probably sat on the pass for too long! This is nowhere near McDonald's standards and procedures!

15/03/2026: This is literally the last time we'll ever set foot in there. The welcome was appalling; no hairnets or gloves, a manager who was clearly unhinged and couldn't manage much of anything, no compensation offered for the malfunctioning machines, and an unbelievable wait despite the few customers. Never again! My advice: go to Rive Gauche.

27/02/2026: The waiter was not at all friendly or attentive. Furthermore, they pressured you after you'd been accepted into their restaurant by telling you there was a reservation immediately afterward.

11/01/2026: For the first time, I walked through the door of this restaurant. I don't want to criticize anyone—running a restaurant in France is hard work these days. I'm well aware of that. As a customer, I felt a chill after the almost military-like welcome—without a single smile. Of course, a smile can't be mandatory; otherwise, it's no longer a genuine smile. Customers are seated like pawns, as tightly as possible—for the sake of efficient service (I came at opening time and witnessed the crowd levels firsthand... initially, it's possible to give the first customers some space without cramming them in like pickles in a jar. This immediately creates a feeling of suffocation, whereas—with a little sensitivity—the first arrivals could be spaced out a bit at the beginning). The French system, which crushes entrepreneurs with exorbitant taxes, has eroded human sensitivity. In this restaurant, I sense the unease of people who work incredibly hard for little pay. They are unhappy and show it through their harshness. The food is average, without being bad. It's surprising, however, that the frosty attitude of the "reception" doesn't seem to bother the people who come...perhaps there aren't many restaurant choices in Versailles...I wonder...
