We stopped at this restaurant while passing through, and what an incredible surprise it was. The taste and presentation were incredible; every detail was carefully considered and delicious. Simply put, the experience and love of cooking shine through in every bite. Don't judge a book by its cover; the experience is evident in the welcome and the food itself. 14/05/2026: Since the restaurant had a menu, I read it of course and saw the tradition of passing down recipes from father to son. This tradition is well respected because the dish was delicious. I had couscous with meatballs, and the dish was delicious. As usual, for dessert I had a small tea with a small plate of oriental cake—just one piece, but delicious. I recommend it. The waiter was very kind, the atmosphere perfect. However, I found the service quick and smooth, but a little bit slow. I recommend it and will return without hesitation.

07/03/2026: My companion and I happened in for lunch after our intended destination was unexpectedly closed. What a happy accident! I admit I know nothing about the food of the region, and I speak no French (my companion speaks some.) The server (who I assume was the owner) was helpful and very kindly accommodating of our ignorance. The food was amazing!!! And clearly prepared from scratch with love. A meal I will remember for a very long time!!

28/04/2026: We try Ethiopian/Eritrean everywhere we go and this place is delicious! We got the 2 veggie plates (#4 and 5) and everything was fresh, nicely spiced (especially the lentils), the service was really nice and it was very affordable. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for something that's not touristy near the train station!
