09/07/2026: This restaurant doesn't look like much at first glance, however, once inside you'll receive a very warm welcome and the food will be absolutely delicious, and I can't stress that enough 🤭. We had the chicken yassa 😍 10/10 with a little bissap to wash it all down!

24/04/2026: I'd been searching for good grilled fish for so long: after several disappointments, I'd given up hope. Until I decided to try it at LE CONAKRY 🤩 My taste buds went on a journey that transcended the universe: it was so magnificently delicious, from the chili pepper that really blew me away to the side dishes, the seasoning, and the grilled fish itself, which met all the criteria of true BRAISED FISH 😭 P.S.: Le Conakry, please consider adding appetizers to your menu (treats, snacks, etc.) while waiting for your meal: everyone will benefit!

12/07/2026: I've been coming here for years without ever thinking to leave a review: it's delicious. I don't usually like couscous, but now I'm the one suggesting we go because it's so good. There isn't a lot of meat, but it's of such high quality that it's definitely worth it, and the vegetables and semolina are both delicious and very generously portioned. Excellent restaurant.

10/05/2026: They don't accept credit cards when paying in cash; they don't have change, and the waiter was very unpleasant. Otherwise, the food was good, but the prices are very high: 30 euros for tilapia and 10 euros for Fanta—that's ridiculous!

03/08/2026: Since the change in management, the terrace seems to have been privatized by the same regulars, who are there almost every night until late. The permitted closing times? Clearly not a priority. The manager has been warned several times, but nothing has changed. Respect for the neighbors no longer seems to be a priority. If you're looking for a pleasant place to have a drink, look elsewhere. However, if you want to attend the nightly meeting of the regulars who seem to have taken up residence on the terrace, you've come to the right place. Faced with the complete lack of response, a report has been filed with the town hall's nighttime liaison officer.

23/07/2026: Excellent traditional cuisine, generously served, at a reasonable price. The calf's head is perfect, the beef tongue irresistible, the veal stew is a must-try, and if you enjoy fried sardines, you've found the place. Simple and authentic, with a touch of old-fashioned charm that takes you back to the 80s with its soundtrack. Thank you to the whole team for their dedication to satisfying our taste buds.

02/05/2026: A terrible experience in Pantin. My partner and I were alone, and the waiter messed up our order, switching the red and white rice. He went back to the kitchen with our plates… only to make the exact same mistake again. We had to exchange our dishes ourselves. As for the atmosphere, he blasted Batman, to the point where we stopped talking. No attempt at compensation whatsoever. Over €30 for this service, truly disappointing.

13/07/2026: The food was tasteless, which is a real shame, and the price is absolutely unjustified! The sofa was sagging and falling apart, and the food was reheated in the microwave right in front of us—completely flavorless.

24/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at L'Étoile de l'Afrique! I chose the fish thieb, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, accompanied by flavorful rice and tender vegetables. The dish was generous, fragrant, and bursting with flavor. You can tell it's authentic cuisine, prepared with care, that truly showcases African specialties. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere convivial, making the experience even more enjoyable. An excellent place to enjoy a delicious thieb. I will gladly return to try the other dishes on the menu!

12/08/2026: I couldn't stand the white food anymore, so I came looking for Chinese food, and I was blown away by how delicious it was! The dumplings were bursting with juice, and the braised pork intestines were stir-fried to perfection with a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma). The auntie said her husband had been a chef for 40 years. It was really delicious 👍 It's at a level I'd find good even back home.
