25/07/2026: I loved this place! The owner is very pleasant and extremely friendly. The food is wonderful. I have absolutely nothing negative to say.

10/06/2026: The constant banging of balls next to the restaurant is caused by a group of kids banging on the walls of the school next door! It's unbearable to eat with all that noise and shouting!!

12/09/2026: Djibril gave us a very warm welcome to celebrate our friend's birthday. The food was excellent, thank you for the gift, see you soon! 🤞🏼😉

07/09/2026: I'm Senegalese, so I know what I'm talking about. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. Otherwise, the owner is very friendly.

09/05/2026: The food was impeccable, a truly wonderful culinary experience, I loved it!

22/04/2026: Simply excellent, friendly and respectful staff, good food and well served, I highly recommend it.

03/09/2026: This place was disappointing. Long wait for food. Starter was very mediocre. Mains were OK, but nothing special. Location was nice enough but lots of street beggars coming by. La Teranga, another Senegalese place not too far away was much better and worth walking over to if you are not based nearby. Location definitely not as good but the food was significantly better. Fish was beautifully cooked and service much quicker. They also served some chilli paste on the side which this place were missing.

27/08/2026: The food was plentiful and the bissap was good, although slightly too sweet for me. The major drawback was the wait for the food, over 30-40 minutes, which detracted from the overall experience.

27/08/2026: We had lunch at La Batida today and ordered the sausage rougail from the menu, which was excellent. We found the price high (€18) for the portion size. It consisted of half a Morteau sausage (5 slices), 5 or 6 small roasted carrots, and a small mound of rice (about 80 grams). It really wasn't a very generous portion. The service was very good.

26/08/2026: A lovely culinary discovery, excellent service, I highly recommend it ❤

12/09/2026: Excellent place, delicious couscous, fast service, reasonable price

30/08/2026: Very warm welcome. Excellent couscous.

01/09/2026: A restaurant where every dish offers unique flavors. I'm always pleasantly surprised by the perfectly cooked meat and the speed of the service. A wonderful way to discover another culture through its cuisine. Flavorful, generous dishes full of character. A truly wonderful experience every time!

01/09/2026: I found this restaurant through an app that calculates calories from photos. The chicken was high in protein and perfectly met my daily requirement. The dining room is simple and the service efficient.
