25/05/2025: The couscous at Le Palmier is always so good, generous, plentiful...And what can I say about the courage of the owner who, on this Mother's Day, in a crowded restaurant, provided service alone in the dining room (his two waiters being sick) and who also provided takeaway orders.... Hats off to you, sir, you are a real pro!!!) You fully deserve these 5 stars...

20/12/2025: A wonderful discovery. Authentic flavors. Plenty of options, even for vegetarians. I loved the dah boullou with chicken. The mafé and yassa were perfect. The homemade African juices are delicious and exotic. A real treat for the taste buds. As for the prices, they're very affordable: €10 for a main course and €4 for a fruit juice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/12/2025: Actually the restaurant is overrated. The service was too nice but the food wasn't good. I am Moroccan and I know what the taste of couscous and tajine is supposed to be like. What shocked me the most is that I asked for tajine Kefta, and my friends asked for coucous. So tajine Kefta was actually couscous sauce with 2 eggs. (vegetables and chickpeas in tajine kefta !!) It's called tajine Just because it's presented in the tajine plate ? And it wasn't tasty at all, couscous as well !! Sorry but so expensive for what it is !!

16/09/2024: Wrong price, you pay much more than on the card. If only it was just the price, the chicken is very very small for the price it's shocking! Also the food is not delicious, the red rice is dry and the chicken dish tastes like fish. I vomited some time after eating and I feel bloated and weak and I vomit again (food poisoning) I will never come back for sure! It used to be much better.

15/12/2024: The dishes were OK, but the cleanliness of the place was not the best. I'm not talking about filthy and broken toilets. The service is terrible, condescending and too abrupt. In short I wouldn't come back again, it's a shame it wasn't bad before and nicer.

16/09/2024: Delicious Senegali food, the girl who served us was very kind, since not being able to communicate correctly, she offered us samples of each sauce before choosing a dish. Quiet place frequented by locals to which I would definitely return

07/10/2025: Hello everyone, I have known Toufik's restaurant, Le Palmier, since 1995, from his father's time until today. It's a super pleasant place with a great atmosphere. My wife and I have always enjoyed ourselves in this establishment.

05/10/2025: Excellent food. However, the service was extremely slow. We waited 45 minutes for starters and 1 hour 15 minutes for main courses. The servers didn't seem to be in a hurry. It's a shame because despite the excellent food and very generous portions, the service and the wait really dampened the experience.

27/09/2024: Excellent welcome by the young waiter and the chef, typical and very good cuisine, and perfect service, attentive, cordial and very well paced, without rush or waiting. Even for a very big end, the dishes are very generous. In short, a very nice table where I will return with pleasure

22/09/2024: Of all there times,we were extremely ignored. Poor service and less attention to guests' requests. Being Moroccan, in the Normandy this is the right place to eat coucous though. Sorry for the service, you can find youth who can best serve people with a simple smile.
