The hostess is a real mother hen, and her cooking is totally authentic: we had to insist on getting a spoon at the end of our meal because eating pancakes with your fingers is quite a feat! 🤣😂🤣😂 And to top it all off, the food was delicious! A restaurant frequented by locals, which is a good sign. In short, I highly recommend it!

04/03/2026: Honestly, if there were zero stars, I would have given it without hesitation. Neither the harira nor the brik (which was the size of a completely empty soufflé) was good. The couscous was like sand, dry and tasteless. I ordered it with chicken, but I was served something bizarre that didn't resemble chicken at all… and it really wasn't good. I was clearly misled by the positive reviews.

24/11/2025: I ordered two tiebs, one red and one white for my husband. Both tasted burnt. The pastels were too salty. It was inedible and really not good. I won't be back.

08/01/2026: I'm afraid I won't be going back. What a disappointment, what a nightmare! The wait time, the location, the food, the service, and the welcome—everything needs improvement. Even if it's a no-frills community space, it's not enough. They just need to raise the bar a little. Honestly, I'm sorry to have to say this, but it's the truth. The taste of Cameroon I know and love wasn't even there. It was edible enough, but considering the price, it's a joke.

20/03/2026: I ordered a royal eru dish to take away from the restaurant. And I was very disappointed; all the pieces of beef hide were covered in hair. They didn't even bother to clean them.

15/03/2026: It's a French-African restaurant. I loved the atmosphere because there was live music. And what can I say about the Cameroonian cuisine, which never disappoints! It was delicious.

21/02/2026: We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM and the person who "greeted" us informed us that the restaurant was closed and that we should come back in 30 minutes. Okay, no problem. We stayed and felt like we were bothering her. So we went for a walk and returned at 7:00 PM. We went back in and the same person showed us to our seats. We sat down and then asked if there would be a long wait. She told us yes, about 15-20 minutes, since the employees were eating because they had been fasting. It's unacceptable to have this kind of behavior and attitude towards customers.

01/03/2026: No one greeted us upon arrival, even though only a few tables were occupied! The floor was dirty, the plates were cracked, and there was semolina on the rim of the glass. The couscous was tasteless, some of the vegetables were barely cooked, the meat was very fatty, and the wine was completely uninteresting and not good at all! And to top it all off, the bill was exorbitant! In short, extremely disappointed.

04/03/2026: Hello, I've been here before and was very satisfied, but this time I didn't find any flavor, spice, love, or care in the dishes I ate, despite the attractive presentation. The carrot appetizer was swimming in oil and lacked flavor. There was no garlic or cilantro. The vegetables in the chicken and lemon tagine had clearly been boiled many times and had no particular taste. I skipped dessert. The service is always pleasant and efficient.

24/02/2026: A very nice hotel just steps from Montparnasse train station, which is a real plus. The neighborhood is lovely, with cafes, brasseries, restaurants, delicatessens, and bakeries/pastry shops, perfect for enjoying Parisian life. My room (22) was very pleasant and quiet, overlooking the garden. It was clean and functional, with a comfortable bed and an electric kettle, tea, and coffee provided. Louisa and Patricia are truly delightful and very welcoming, and as I was traveling alone, I really appreciated their communication. Breakfast was absolutely perfect: coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, pastries (homemade cakes and cookies), fresh bread from the bakery next door, butter, jams, and also savory options like ham, cheese, and yogurt. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back! At €106 per night in the heart of Paris, it's excellent value for money.

23/01/2026: The room was adequate but obviously noisy, facing the street with a leaky window. Parking to drop off luggage was difficult. We only had contact with the service by phone, so no complaints there.
