27/05/2026: A very warm welcome from Octavie, the owner for 30 years. We felt right at home. She offered us an aperitif, simply as a kind gesture. She's been consistently excellent all these years: the Mafé is superb. It's a welcome change from all the tourist traps in Sanary.

28/08/2025: August 2025 – From the outside, the place is very discreet... but once you step through the door, you feel like you've left the city behind and entered a warm and unique world. A welcoming smile and a friendly atmosphere. On the right side, a lovely, well-stocked garden; on the left, the restaurant with a swimming pool in its center. Around it, there are not only tables and chairs, but also a four-poster bed, sun loungers, benches... in short, plenty of cozy corners to enjoy a pleasant moment. The decor, the atmosphere, and the menu, of course, are reminiscent of the owner's home country: Ivory Coast. There were five of us. We started by tasting the house cocktails: original, fruity, delicious, with or without alcohol. We shared all the starters to discover everything, then tried the chicken mafé... a delight! This restaurant/B&B was a wonderful surprise, where we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: I bought some chicken tieb, but several things were wrong. First, the tieb was bland and dry; it tasted more like tomato rice. The service was barely adequate. The containers weren't even filled properly, and there were no vegetables. Finally, the bag was extremely flimsy; don't even bother carrying it for more than a few meters—it won't last.

22/05/2026: This restaurant is very well located between the Villa Majorelle and the Musée de l'École de Nancy. The welcome was very warm, and the meal was excellent, with high-quality dishes beautifully presented. I highly recommend this establishment.

22/04/2026: In March 2026, I went to this restaurant twice with a friend, and it was fantastic both times: once for the famous pastillas and the other time for the couscous! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all perfect, and we'll cherish unforgettable memories! Thank you to the Timgad team, both in the kitchen and in the dining room!

26/04/2026: Excellent hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Our room was very nice. Decent breakfast. Metro station opposite the hotel. I recommend it.

01/04/2026: Warning: This hotel is of very poor quality. When I arrived in the room, there was a large amount of hair on the floor; it couldn't have been an oversight… So, it seems the room hadn't been cleaned. There were only sheets and, I hope, a toilet. The shower was old and dirty, and the soap was watered down. There was a hairbrush in the bathroom cabinet. There was absolutely no soundproofing… and I'm used to staying in Parisian hotels. I'm reporting this to my employer, and be wary of other reviews; almost all of them are left by tour guides.

13/05/2026: A hidden gem! Simple, delicious dishes at a great price. The facade is unassuming, but behind it lies a wonderful, unpretentious restaurant with a warm welcome.

28/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! I stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. The owner is lovely and the food is delicious. Plus, the portions are generous. I'll definitely be back, and more than once.

08/01/2026: I'm afraid I won't be going back. What a disappointment, what a nightmare! The wait time, the location, the food, the service, and the welcome—everything needs improvement. Even if it's a no-frills community space, it's not enough. They just need to raise the bar a little. Honestly, I'm sorry to have to say this, but it's the truth. The taste of Cameroon I know and love wasn't even there. It was edible enough, but considering the price, it's a joke.

23/04/2026: In front of the cathedral, at the foot of a beautiful, charming hotel run by the same family, a simple and quiet couscous in a refined setting (or the other way around!).

02/06/2026: I say bravo! It's a pleasant and peaceful place. The rums are delicious. And the Accras are divine. The Mafé and Yassa were wow, excellent. The young waiter on Friday evening was pleasant and attentive. I congratulate the cooks; it was a personal treat. The waiter and the owner were also excellent. My daughter and I will be back.

17/05/2026: One of the best mafé I've ever eaten (I had the vegetarian version with the breaded galette). Everything was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

16/05/2026: We come from time to time and enjoy it every time! The atmosphere is warm and calm despite the large dining room, and the waitress is very pleasant, taking the time to listen to the customers. Whether it's tagine or couscous, we're always satisfied! Our grandchildren also enjoy and love these meals.

24/03/2026: Farafina restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery for lovers of authentic African cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the braised chicken with attiéké, which was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. A big thank you to Awa, who was very friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The colorful and welcoming decor immediately sets the mood. A friendly place where you eat very well and quickly feel at ease.

19/03/2026: Farafina restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery. I particularly enjoyed the chicken mafé, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. Special mention goes to Awa, the waitress, for her warm welcome and helpful recommendations. The African-inspired decor creates a friendly and exotic atmosphere. It's the perfect place to travel the world for the duration of a meal and enjoy authentic cuisine. I highly recommend this spot for a night out with friends.
