15/11/2024: Very friendly staff, the pastels are very good and the drinks delicious (we had the ginger and Bissap ones). However, the Yassa did not live up to our expectations.

07/12/2025: The best couscous in Paris, period. Not only are the portions generous, but the prices are unbeatable. Plus, the servers are incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant. One of my top 5 in the 17th arrondissement, even for lunch.

10/11/2025: The best couscous and Tunisian restaurant I know. Delicious food, nice decor, friendly staff. You really feel like you're in Tunisia. I lived in the neighborhood 25 years ago, and the restaurant was already good. I've since moved, but I never miss an opportunity to go back when I'm in the area.

29/11/2025: Outrageous! We ordered delivery, the order arrived an hour later and it wasn't even what we ordered! The restaurant took it upon themselves to change two of our dishes, claiming they don't serve pastelles, even though they're on the menu. For the other dish, they apparently didn't have the meat we'd chosen, so instead of calling them, they just added fish. We called them, and they didn't offer to reorder or make any kind of gesture of goodwill. Outrageous!

17/02/2026: Went there on Valentine's day.. tried Nigerian food for the first time because of my valentine. It was amazing 😍 it reminds me of home, I'm from Bangladesh and trust me when I say this. Everyone at the restaurant was really nice and friendly. Probably the owner or manager, she offered us free wine but sadly we don't drink alcohol so had to refuse it. It was such a nice gesture 🥹 thank you again.

26/01/2026: I tried explaining it to you, but you wouldn't listen, so I'm writing this down for future customers. This is what's commonly called a "Doggy Bag," and this measure is part of the AGEC law (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy). Here are the key points to remember: 1. What the law says Article L541-15-7 of the Environmental Code stipulates that commercial restaurants and establishments serving drinks for on-premises consumption must provide customers, upon request, with reusable or recyclable containers for taking home uneaten food or drinks. 2. Exceptions and limitations While the obligation is clear, there are some nuances: All-you-can-eat buffets: The law is less clear here, as the business model relies on on-premises consumption. Restaurants often prohibit taking home leftovers to prevent abuse, but they must remain vigilant about food waste. Hygiene: Restaurants can disclaim responsibility for food storage once the food has left the premises (for example, if the cold chain is broken). Beverages: This requirement also applies to beverages, except for those in returnable containers.

06/12/2025: A loyal customer for years. Simply a delight, the welcome is warm, and the owner comes to greet us. Very generous portions. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it.

20/12/2025: A wonderful discovery. Authentic flavors. Plenty of options, even for vegetarians. I loved the dah boullou with chicken. The mafé and yassa were perfect. The homemade African juices are delicious and exotic. A real treat for the taste buds. As for the prices, they're very affordable: €10 for a main course and €4 for a fruit juice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

13/11/2025: Warm welcome. Very generous and delicious meal. It's a shame the restaurant is so small; you quickly feel cramped. I had a good time and we all enjoyed our meal. I recommend it for discovering Senegalese cuisine.

15/03/2026: Very disappointing. We wanted to eat for two on a Saturday evening at 9 pm and were politely refused service because the owner had decided to stop serving because he was tired. He said, "I'm not going to bother for two covers." Really bad language, absolutely no customer service! Sir, if you can no longer manage your service, retire and stop working in the restaurant business. It's the only couscous restaurant in Rochefort. It's a shame. They should bring in a new, younger team who would be capable of at least managing to run a decent restaurant on a Saturday night!

20/01/2026: Honestly, perhaps the best gravlax I've ever had. It almost made me forget that we waited 15 minutes before being served (but keep in mind we were the first customers, so let's forgive them). We ate upstairs, at the "gastronomic" menu. I ordered a quenelle lyonnaise, my first time having one in a restaurant. I can say I was perhaps expecting a more generous portion, but the porcini mushrooms were delicious, and I finished the bread with the sauce! Finally, the dessert, the chestnut cream, was divine. Honestly, a great experience right near the metro. However, I think it's still a bit pricey.

22/02/2026: The couscous was edible, but the service was subpar. I didn't find the authentic Algerian atmosphere, and it was far from that of Kabylia. The tagine was a joke…
