27/01/2026: Went there to eat with friends, and I was so disappointed with the food. I ordered the "Capitaine Braisé" with plain rice (€38), and it was incredibly dry—tasted like old fish that had been reheated. I also ordered a Ti-Punch (€16), which was way too sweet; I couldn’t even taste the rum. An expensive night for nothing
24/01/2026: The food was good, beautifully presented, and the portions were reasonable. I loved their ginger juice. I found the place smaller than I expected. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted. The only person there had their back to me at the entrance, and the noise of our arrival didn't make them turn around. I had to go over to get their attention, and even then, I didn't receive the welcome I was expecting. I explained that I had a reservation, but she simply asked us to follow her and seated us at a table. We were so close to the other diners that it felt like we were eating with them. I had booked for a birthday, but in the end, it was as if I hadn't booked at all. We were a bit disappointed overall. I don't think I'll go back. It wasn't a welcoming place for me. And the price we paid, 100 euros for two people, was too high for what we ate.

03/12/2025: At 12:30 PM, the line was quite short. No printed menu was available upon entry; we had to rely on the TV screens and the app to browse the menu.
The pulled beef sandwich on the menu was too small for the price.
The Yassa chicken and the Chamalaka vegetarian curry were worth the price, but were a bit cold. However, the service was very quick.
25/11/2025: For a quick meal, this place is perfect: plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options, made-to-order food, and relatively affordable. If you find it available, don't miss the dessert: plantains wrapped in shredded coconut to dip in chocolate! So good!

31/08/2024: Pizzas, lasagna, burgers... Everything is excellent!
I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!
30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.

13/05/2025: Overall it was pretty flat, even disappointing. Between the carrots, dry and stringy (at this point they are not from the last few weeks). The lamb which is literally overcooked, dry and bland. The rice deserves to be seasoned but unfortunately the excess oil spoils everything. I gave it 3/5 it is obviously still nourishing, but I will not eat there again. The Bissap helps to raise the score a little, despite its excess sugar (it remains subjective).
04/05/2025: Always so good and plentiful. The true flavors of the Ivory Coast. Very friendly cook.

06/01/2025: A group of boys wanted to go to the Café des Anges, saying that I was with them (which doesn't bother me even if I don't know them), the bouncer looked at me and replied "that doesn't is not proportional. I didn't like it at all, I felt like a piece of meat. The boy group was rejected, because there weren't enough girls with them, it's really rubbish, in the 21st century, to still have comments like that, and it It’s even more surprising that these comments are made by a woman! I've never been to the Café des Anges, and this event doesn't make me want to go there at all!
01/01/2025: The music, especially from the area below, is good enough to set the mood, but for the music above, I have the impression of being in a city with almost rap and alcoholic individuals crazy enough to throw glass bottles on the floor...
Despite the presence of security guards, these people were not even screened at the entrance and also automatically rejected outside...
Quite dirty toilets, I even saw remains of vomit still present...

24/09/2024: Very nice discovery under the advice of an acquaintance.
We had an assortment of meats (spicy chicken and beef) and vegetables and lentils, it was full of flavor and very generous. The pancakes didn't last long, we asked for more and the waiter brought us some very quickly.
Very good place for its quality/price ratio as well as for the kindness of the people in the restaurant, I will come back to taste other of your dishes!

01/09/2024: Being unfamiliar with African cuisine, it was with pleasure that I ate my first Mafé! A good plate, generous, with tender pieces of meat. Adding chili pepper is recommended. The coconut flan was also good, but too small considering the price.
We were very well received by the owner of the restaurant, very smiling and friendly. Despite an empty restaurant that evening (Paralympics ceremony) the atmosphere was pleasant.

Pretty good starter and main course I'm going for the braised fish
I found that the seasoning was not spicy, quite light. The texture of the fish was elastic and some parts were undercooked.
The aperitif was great as well as the very attentive service.
27/08/2024: This place is a gem... The cuisine is incredibly refined. The decor too! .. The bar tartare and the bissap mousse are to die for 🙌🏾the team takes great care and the owner is very warm.... In short, a great discovery...! I obviously recommend...
