01/03/2026: The welcome was good, but the buffet seemed bland and the desserts need improvement.
01/03/2026: No one greeted us upon arrival, even though only a few tables were occupied!
The floor was dirty, the plates were cracked, and there was semolina on the rim of the glass.
The couscous was tasteless, some of the vegetables were barely cooked, the meat was very fatty, and the wine was completely uninteresting and not good at all!
And to top it all off, the bill was exorbitant!
In short, extremely disappointed.

27/03/2026: Terrible service. We waited 30 minutes without even being offered a drink, only to be told she was busy and we had to wait.
We wanted to support our African brothers and sisters, and this is the service we received. What a shame. We left hungry. Unbelievable.
12/01/2026: A very warm welcome and generous portions. I had the shrimp ndolé, which was not only plentiful but also delicious. I highly recommend it.

And I was very disappointed; all the pieces of beef hide were covered in hair. They didn't even bother to clean them.
15/03/2026: It's a French-African restaurant. I loved the atmosphere because there was live music. And what can I say about the Cameroonian cuisine, which never disappoints! It was delicious.

13/11/2025: A very warm welcome. A truly unique place with its decor! The chef, the waiter, and the manager all have a great sense of humor 😉 We were pampered and enjoyed beautiful and delicious dishes. I highly recommend it and will definitely return when I'm back in Bordeaux.
11/11/2025: The atmosphere is calm, and you quickly feel at home thanks to the warm welcome from the manager.
The dishes are delicious 🥘: perfectly balanced spices, expertly cooked meat, and I haven't even mentioned the fish, which is simply divine.

07/05/2026: Next to the food which was delicious, the atmosphere and service were thoughtful and warm. We went there with a group of nine people, to sing a concert in town, and were seen to our every need. They are warm people who have a visible passion for Maroccan food and culture, which shines through in the taste and presentation of their dishes.
Recommendation: the Maroccan tea and Tajines.

29/03/2026: This was our first time visiting this well-known restaurant in Rouen. The royal couscous was excellent. We received a very warm welcome and efficient service. We had a lovely family evening and will definitely return. Thank you for turning down the music at our request.
18/03/2026: A unique place with beautiful decor, delicious couscous, perfect meats, a warm welcome, and reasonable prices. The small bottle of wine was a bit pricey, though.

07/12/2025: The best couscous in Paris, period. Not only are the portions generous, but the prices are unbeatable. Plus, the servers are incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant. One of my top 5 in the 17th arrondissement, even for lunch.

Delicious food, nice decor, friendly staff. You really feel like you're in Tunisia.
I lived in the neighborhood 25 years ago, and the restaurant was already good. I've since moved, but I never miss an opportunity to go back when I'm in the area.
