30/08/2026: Five stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Le Maquis in Montpellier is the real thing. We ordered the yassa de poulet and the choukouya de poulet, and both were excellent. The yassa is chicken simmered in a pile of sweet caramelized onions with lemon, mustard, peppers and olives. Tangy, a little sweet, and the sauce soaks into the rice. Comforting and bright at the same time. The choukouya is the grilled Ivorian-styled chicken. Smoky, well-spiced, with that street-food char and tender meat. Add the dynamite hot sauce and it really wakes the whole plate up. Heat with flavour 🔥, not just burn. Cassandra looked after us. Super hospitable, friendly, beautiful smile, and she made us feel properly welcome. We’ll be back. Thank you for the Le Maquis team 👏👏👏

23/09/2026: Very good! I found it a bit pricey, but 1) that's normal in Paris, and 2) the portions are generous. The highlight is definitely the food! I ordered a combo, so there were lots of flavors, and the chili pepper was just the right amount of heat. I think the only thing missing is carafes of water when you eat in.

This kind of cuisine is becoming rare. We truly appreciated the authentic, warm, and traditional atmosphere. Moreover, the value for money was excellent considering the generous portions; we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend it! ☺️👌

The service was excellent, the staff very pleasant, and we received a very warm welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of oriental cuisine visiting Alençon!

12/09/2026: Excellent experience at Afrik'N'Fusion! The "Alokos Entrée" were delicious, piping hot, and perfectly tender. The "Foutou Sauce Palme Bœuf" is simply the best around, a real treat. On top of that, the delivery time was perfectly respected. I will definitely order again!
