A huge shout-out to the banana and corn fritters. How can I even describe them? They were delicious! I have only one thought in mind: to make them at home!

14/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, the food was delicious and well-balanced, not too spicy for those not used to it. The service was a little slow, but that's due to the dance floor; however, the servers made sure the wait was pleasant. We will definitely return.

06/04/2026: Meh. Mixed feelings. I ordered a Mafé, and they served me a Yassa (I didn't say anything). The Yassa wasn't bad in itself, but it didn't taste like a Yassa. The starter (acradles) and dessert (coconut cake) were good, but nothing special. The decor was dated, and the tableware was a bit cheap; I can hardly recommend it. I find it rather sad in general that so many African restaurants are still somewhat amateurish, as is the case here; it's a cuisine that deserves better than that.

22/03/2026: As a group of several, we were forced to order the tasting menu, for which the portions were ridiculously small. There was enough food for a maximum of four people, and there were seven of us. One and a half samosas each, one accra each, two spoonfuls of rice each, and not enough cake for everyone. Half a meal in a nearly empty restaurant. The only positive point was that the owner was friendly. Avoid at all costs.

I particularly enjoyed the braised chicken with plantains, which was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The colorful decor immediately creates a warm and exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Mamadou, who was very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. A friendly place where you feel right at home, with excellent value for money.

09/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant offers couscous, tagines, pastries, and more, all very well-prepared and generously portioned. It's well worth a visit. The owner has been there for 50 years. The atmosphere is calm and intimate, perfect for a pleasant evening.

03/05/2026: We ordered a takeaway dish: plain couscous. When we arrived, we were given two dishes of plain couscous. I explained that I had only ordered one, but it made no difference. So, to my great regret, I ended up paying for two. Despite the Tupperware containers provided, the vegetables were served in a plastic ice cream tub, still with the labels on… It's unhygienic and really doesn't make you want to eat it. While waiting, I stayed at the bar and saw the bartender putting the unfinished bowls of olives back into the bin. So much for hygiene… My girlfriend has leukemia, and this kind of behavior could have serious consequences.

14/05/2026: We were seated upstairs. The restaurant is a 2-minute walk from the République metro station in Paris. We ordered before arriving and it was ready 20 minutes later. Quite reasonable for an African restaurant, especially since we ordered two fish dishes out of our three orders. The meal was excellent and generous, at very affordable prices. As for the decor, the restaurant is a bit dated and could use a good renovation. I recommend it; it's a great place. Thanks to my friend for the recommendation.

07/06/2026: Quite frankly, A fantastic experience. A superb meal, fragrant, fresh, delicious, and generous. The rosé wine is divine; give it a try. We were a party of 10 people of different ages, and everyone enjoyed the meal. The owner is incredibly friendly and creates a great atmosphere. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent. The price was very reasonable. They also accept holiday vouchers. The restaurant is clean, the table is beautifully set, and the restrooms are clean. The service was prompt and efficient. We highly recommend it. The mint tea was a delight. Thank you so much, and see you very soon! P.S.: Don't tell everyone... Otherwise, there won't be any more room...😁

22/05/2026: The manager is really super friendly, very funny and lovely, which makes the atmosphere particularly pleasant. The food has declined a bit compared to before, but it's still good and enjoyable.

23/04/2026: Excellent little Algerian restaurant. We received a warm welcome, the Berber couscous was excellent with delicious semolina and unlimited fresh vegetables. The decor transports you to another country. And the price-quality ratio is very good.

29/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! The welcome was simple yet warm, the homemade juices were surprisingly delicious, and the dishes were generous and flavorful. It was my first time trying Senegalese cuisine, and I wasn't disappointed at all—quite the opposite (the mafé is incredible). I was completely won over by this restaurant.
