21/07/2026: Excellent brasserie! The servers were very attentive from the moment we arrived, the cuisine was truly sophisticated yet simple, the vegetables were cooked to perfection (which is rare), and the dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were a delight! Fresh, local produce... it was perfect!

27/07/2026: A very bad experience. We came to this all-you-can-eat restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening. I had ordered a little too much food and couldn't finish my plate. We asked if it was possible to take the leftovers home. We were told yes, but that it would be charged. At no point did we see any information indicating that this was a charge or that food waste would be billed. The most shocking part was what happened next. My friend went to the dessert buffet, and a waitress approached us very aggressively. She pointed at the exit and told us that since our plates hadn't been finished, we weren't entitled to dessert and that we had to leave the restaurant immediately. There's a way to speak to customers and enforce rules. We were humiliated in front of the other customers and treated with a profound lack of respect. We were both wearing headscarves. I can't say for sure that it played a role, but the way we were treated left us feeling deeply uneasy. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this establishment.

02/06/2026: Avoid at all costs! The salad wasn't even washed; it felt like chewing sand in your mouth. The meat and fish tasted like they'd been recycled from the garbage.

24/05/2026: It's the terrace in the heart of the city center, shaded by real trees, with a vintage feel and a very unique decor. The products are high quality. The welcome from Nelly is genuine. She is just like her restaurant: unique, inspiring, and radiant.

05/05/2026: A stop at this restaurant before catching a train at the station across the street was a very pleasant surprise! The value for money is outstanding, the drinks and food are excellent (vegetarian options available), and the 60s/70s ambiance gives this place a special atmosphere. It's also run by volunteers who organize conferences and other events! In short, a stop I highly recommend if you're passing through Bourg-en-Bresse.

28/07/2026: Delicious, traditional French cuisine, the kind our ancestors used to make, prepared by young people. A feast for the eyes, the stomach, and the heart. I give it a 200% thumbs up!

11/07/2026: A warm welcome, efficient and friendly service. No frills, but quality cuisine. A great place to enjoy and discover regional specialties. Special mention goes to the Bresse chicken casserole, accompanied by the owner's detailed explanation of the poultry's origin and farming practices, as well as the génépi iced soufflé for dessert. In short, a traditional restaurant of the kind we still love to find.

22/05/2026: Today, a bouillabaisse menu for this Marseillais (myself included), a test for this restaurant we've enjoyed for several years. This culinary experience was a return to my childhood, when my mother prepared this traditional dish with love and passion. All the flavors unfolded beautifully. 24/07/2026: The receptionist was extremely unpleasant and jaded; I can hardly describe her. She'd be better off in the back kitchen or in some other job that doesn't involve any interaction with people. The kebab meat was full of fat and inedible. I will never return.

13/07/2026: A very nice, clean place with lovely decor and plenty of space between the tables, allowing for better privacy. The staff is friendly, and the sandwiches and tacos are good. The homemade fries are a nice touch. The tiramisu was excellent! I highly recommend it!
