23/03/2026: The service was a bit slow, which is understandable as it was full, but the waiters were friendly. We were disappointed with the curry; the pasta was too salty, and several of us shared the same opinion. However, the samosas were good. The building's layout made it extremely noisy. The wine was overpriced for Loire wines.

02/04/2026: The food is generally good and the price-quality ratio is attractive. It's a shame the experience was somewhat spoiled by the service.
The manager was rather curt when I simply asked if the meat was halal and if they had a certificate. Her response really made it seem like the question was intrusive, which is a pity.

18/03/2026: Too Good To Go offers fall short in terms of quantity and price compared to competitors who offer twice as much, which is a shame...
Especially since the pickup time is very late. Going out of town for a €7 starter/main course at 11 pm isn't worth the trip.
15/03/2026: This Volontaire restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting sushi, maki, and California rolls of this quality in this setting. It was even better than many Asian restaurants that aren't Volontaires. The staff is friendly, and the selection, while limited, includes the essentials you'd expect. The overall quality of the appetizers and main courses was good, although the dessert selection was a bit lacking, but that wasn't surprising. Honestly, I really enjoyed myself!

04/04/2026: Restaurant with two pleasant dining rooms. The food is good; I really enjoyed everything I tried, from the momos and turnovers to the spring rolls and ginger chicken. The staff are pleasant and friendly.
It's good value for money.
It's a top restaurant in Limoges. Making a reservation makes things much easier.

10/03/2026: We had a meal there for Valentine's Day. There was a set menu for the occasion, but we did have two choices for each starter, main course, and dessert. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, the food was excellent, the presentation lovely, the decor pleasant, the atmosphere cozy, and they even offered us a complimentary digestif. We had a wonderful time, as always... excellent value for money, the prices are very reasonable. A little tip: book in advance, it's always full.

Superb food, very friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere, except for some evenings when an ill-mannered, noisy, and inconsiderate clientele disturbs the service and the regular customers from the neighborhood. It's a shame because this restaurant remains a culinary landmark and offers a warm welcome. Highly recommended nonetheless.

02/12/2025: This is so delicious!!! The stewed meat is incredibly tender and goes perfectly with rice. The portion is huge, you'll be full after eating it. The owner and the waitresses are also super, super nice ☺️ I'll definitely be a regular customer!

Even though the restaurant has changed ownership from Korean to Chinese, the quality is much better.
