11/07/2026: We visited Bangkok Royal for dinner around 19:30, drawn in by positive Google reviews and genuinely impressed by the hygiene awards displayed at the entrance consecutively received since 2019, which raised our expectations considerably. We were seated without a reservation as the restaurant was largely empty. What followed was disheartening. After waiting 10–15 minutes without acknowledgment, two other guests arrived and were immediately attended to, handed a « carafe d’eau » and served promptly, while we remained invisible to the server. We decided to leave. When I approached the server to explain our experience, he dismissed us with a simple “it’s okay, you can leave” no apology, no acknowledgment whatsoever. The issue isn’t just poor service, it’s the disparity in how customers were treated. Every guest deserves equal dignity and courtesy, regardless of appearance. That is hospitality 101. A hygiene certificate is admirable. But no award compensates for making guests feel unwelcome. A near-empty dining room on a busy summer evening speaks for itself. We hope management takes this seriously. Word of mouth outlasts any certificate on the wall.

19/06/2026: Excellent! I recommend the pad thai, which was truly one of the best I've had in Lyon, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are very good too.

18/07/2026: Great little restaurant, the food is a delight. I believe the chef is Cambodian and has a perfect command of Asian cuisine...it's one of the best, if not the best, restaurants I can remember. The woman who works alone (the restaurant is small) is lovely; she doesn't wear a forced or salesy smile, she gives good advice and knows the menu by heart. In short, a very good experience, a simple, quiet restaurant for true lovers of Asian cuisine without any fuss! So be it.

15/07/2026: Definitely the best Asian restaurant in the Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz area! Generous portions. Very reasonable prices. Everything is delicious and fresh. Special mention for the crispy chicken, which you never get tired of. Whether you eat in or take away, you're sure not to be disappointed!

19/07/2026: My husband became ill after eating there; the chicken was partially raw. I tasted it and also experienced nausea and a stomach ache.

22/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, with a very warm welcome and lovely traditional decor...we've eaten in several times and ordered takeout, always top-notch, always delicious, and excellent value for money...I should mention that I'm vegetarian and they also have vegan options...We highly recommend this place 👍😊

19/04/2026: I must admit I was very surprised by the high nutritional quality of this takeaway meal for €10. You get meat, rice, a nice little salad, three spring rolls, and chicken—all for €15! Honestly, I guarantee you it was delicious. I highly recommend it. You'll receive excellent service; the woman is very friendly and helpful, and the gentleman in the kitchen is very kind. Believe me, I'll be back to eat at your place.

31/05/2026: Food poisoning and diarrhea following the meal. Still recovering. Not recommended.

31/05/2026: Very bad customer service and scam on the menu snacking and bubble tea. I ordered normally and they gave me the drink named bubble tea- where there is no bubble in it. And then one lady came and said its a big drink, with menu comes with small one. Ok i didnt order big. I ordered menu. She was screaming at me as i was the one who made the mistake. I ignored. As it shows their culture and ok to pay extra for that. She didnt stop she was screaming all the time in kitchen and to the waitresses who did the command/mistake. Whats this, insulting customer, insulting employees. Not even a star u deserve madame. Never again to a pitty resturant like this

20/06/2026: I really like this restaurant. It's not high-end and there isn't a huge selection, however. It's quiet and less expensive than the competition. The staff is lovely.

21/07/2026: Not being a big fan of all-you-can-eat buffets, I was pleasantly surprised; it was relatively good, everything included with drinks, the place has been recently renovated, nice decor

16/07/2026: I went in by chance and, well, what a disappointment! It's a self-service style restaurant, all-you-can-eat but not very good. The sushi rice is extremely basic. The desserts were frozen. I won't be going back.
