29/09/2024: We were there on Sunday for 10 a.m. without reservation and were taken care of very quickly, the welcome was warm. Once the order was placed we didn't wait long to be served. The brunch was very generous and good, a little bonus on the homemade jam which was delicious!!! Too bad he didn't sell it...

07/01/2026: Hello. This was our first time here, thanks to a gift card, as it's a bit of an expense. The way we were treated made us feel a little awkward, as we're not used to it, but on the other hand, it was nice to be treated like VIPs. 😉 We thought we'd be hungry when we left, but quite the opposite, in fact. We were very full. The setting was unique, and the dining room was tastefully decorated. It was peaceful, even though several tables were occupied. The staff were incredibly attentive, which was surprising but so pleasant, explaining the ingredients of each dish. Thank you for the warm welcome, especially to the Maître d'Hôtel, with whom we had a lovely chat. Thank you to the sommelier and, above all, to the chef who creates truly delicious dishes by blending various ingredients and flavors. The highlight was the rum raisin dessert with a thin layer of white chocolate. Absolutely divine. Thank you so much. A wonderful experience. 🙏👌👏👏👏👏😍

10/01/2026: After a 15-minute wait, they seated people who had arrived after us, and when we pointed it out, we were met with an inappropriate response: "I have another table in two minutes, and we're not going to fight over a table." Clearly, we have the right to be friendly and welcoming, otherwise we should find another line of work. We left. Arrived 30 minutes ago

06/01/2026: Okay. But not wow... Quick service but a lukewarm welcome... I was returning on a pilgrimage to this establishment that I had loved when I still lived in Troyes... But unlike Proust's madeleines, the flavor of yesteryear wasn't there...

30/01/2026: Good restaurant, but having seen the menu update today (January 30, 2026), I sincerely hope that the Bavarian cream with Chaource cheese doesn't disappear, not today, not ever. Otherwise, I will launch a complete boycott of your restaurant. A word to the wise. These are not threats, but facts, hence the missing star on this post.

09/12/2025: Good meal: main course, dessert, and drink for €13. The meal was good, simple, and unpretentious, with a decent selection of excellent desserts. The only downside was the noise. Thank you for your hospitality.

01/11/2025: We stopped by quite late, just passing through the area. There were three of us, including two children. It must have been around 8:15 pm, and we hadn't made a reservation. The welcome was very pleasant, the waitresses were friendly and kind to the children. A big plus was the small playroom! The food was very good, no complaints there. A great find, and we'll definitely be back. This is exactly the kind of place that's sorely lacking in cities: a small, almost family-run establishment where we chatted with the other customers, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it 200%!

23/11/2025: This was our first time on a road trip to Italy and found this place on Google maps, what an amazing place to stop off, the staff were so helpful, we will defiantly be returning in 2026.

01/07/2025: Very good food but you have to review the quantities in relation to the price because it is expensive 14€ for a very small bowl of sauce and the rice of course is extra

22/06/2025: It went really badly! We had made a reservation for 8 pm. We arrived, but were left waiting for 15 minutes while they found us a table. An inexplicable wait: we waited a long time for our starters, and even longer for our main courses. An hour and 15 minutes to wait for a main course is not normal! On top of that, the server made a mistake by bringing us other dishes. We wanted to have dinner for the Fête de la Musique, so we arrived at 8 pm and left at 10:30 pm. At that time, there wasn't much left. The wait was long, and during that time, the music was playing way too loud in a cupboard; we had to turn it down. It's truly a shame. We were among the last to be served. We left the restaurant, practically the only ones left, meaning we were served last, while customers were pouring in, even though we had a reservation. I'm giving it 3 stars only in thanks for the goodwill gesture where they offered us free starters, even if €4 out of an average of €30 per person seems a bit meager considering the disaster it was. I'd never had any problems there before, though, so really, it's a shame to take reservations and crowds when you're not able to accommodate them.
