25/11/2025: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The home-style cooking is delicious, the dishes are prepared with care, and it shows. The staff is particularly pleasant, smiling, and attentive. I went with two young children, and honestly, it had been a long time since I'd enjoyed such a peaceful meal. Children sometimes need to move around, and here, everything was done without any judgment. That makes all the difference! Thank you for this experience; we will gladly return.

12/11/2025: A varied and delicious buffet! I'm taking my grandma out for lunch today. Today, we're having pollock steak and duck skewers! "Mmm, it's good," said Grandma. Great taste, a lively atmosphere, and warm service. It's a welcome change from the retirement home! We get out, we laugh. I highly recommend it. Desserts for every taste. A lively place means it must be good.

05/01/2026: We came for Christmas Eve 2025 as a family (teenagers and adults) and had a wonderful time. We had a small room just for ourselves (there were eight of us), which made the evening feel very cozy and intimate. The staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious from start to finish. The teenagers thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. We will definitely be back.

09/12/2025: I was invited to this restaurant and the food was excellent. The dining room could use a bit more warmth, as the table and chairs didn't reflect the usual "fine dining" feel. It was a little austere. The reception was a bit of a letdown, as we were left in the cold waiting for the restaurant to open, and even 8 minutes after opening time, they asked, "Perhaps you'd like to come in?" The cloakroom is inconvenient because everyone has access to it. The close proximity of the tables makes private conversation difficult.

13/11/2024: I made a reservation for a group of 19 people on Saturday for lunch. Everything was perfect. The dishes are excellent, the service efficient with lots of attention so that everyone can be satisfied. Everything is homemade and the restaurant is well located in the city. Thanks to Christophe, the boss and his son for his kindness and responsiveness. I recommend 100%.

21/09/2024: Very good meal. A little noisy on Saturday lunchtime but that's normal given the crowds. Very smiling and efficient staff. For those who like almond paste I recommend the almond apricot waffle, a treat.

02/12/2025: In this inn called La Table d’Antan, located on the main street of Crésantignes, I recently enjoyed a feast befitting an old knight returning from many journeys to the lands of Aube and Champagne. There I was served a steak tartare prepared in the finest manner, minced as finely as the steel of a well-tempered sword is ground, and seasoned with many herbs which, by my faith, created such a delightful commotion in my mouth that I cannot praise the chef enough. The place is bright and welcoming, the service as courteous as in the great hall of a castle of old. The people of Crésantignes, valiant and affable folk, know how to maintain a good table and honor, and this inn is a worthy reflection of that. So, to anyone riding in these Champagne regions, I warmly recommend this haunt where one feasts with joy, and where the simple and true dishes recall the ancient flavors of our banquets of yesteryear.

19/01/2026: Excellent andouillette, a specialty of Troyes! Be aware that the chicken terrine appetizer is not a pâté but a terrine in aspic... Welcoming and attentive staff, pleasant decor, quick service according to your wishes. Accessible for people with reduced mobility!
