12/12/2025: We stopped by for a meal and wine tasting at this lovely estate. Cédric, the restaurant manager, gave us excellent advice, was very personable, and had a great sense of humor. A beautiful place!

11/12/2025: My wife and I attended a tasting of eight wines. The price was €129 per person. The price is completely unreasonable. They poured a sip of wine that costs an average of €40 per bottle. For €258, you could buy all the iconic wines by the bottle at the château shop. And drink them peacefully. We were disappointed, especially after Châteauneuf du Pape, where it's customary to offer free wine. In short, the tasting wasn't worth the money. The winery shop has a bar where you can try any wine you want for a reasonable price, then read all about it on the winery's website and decide whether to buy it. The €129 tasting is a rip-off and a bummer.

01/03/2026: It saved us from going hungry because Narbonne closes early. The service was very good. The food was average, and they had a good selection of wines by the glass.

03/03/2026: Be warned, the paella is spicy and we weren't told. Too bad.

05/02/2026: We went with one other couple and had a very enjoyable evening. We went on a Wednesday in February so it might be more crowded on other nights, but it was very quiet the night that we were there. Between us we had the Rabbit/Chicken Paella and the Cod. Both dishes were very good. We had the charcuterie for an appetizer. It was excellent. I had ice cream for desert. It was nothing special. (But its ice cream.) We had a couple of bottles of white wine. Also very good. The server was attentive but we weren't rushed at any point in the meal. The location is cozy. About 20 or so tables. And they quietly played Spanish music in the background on the TV. It was lovely.

02/03/2026: Disappointed, I asked for it without onions but ended up with onions, luckily I'm not allergic to them.😡. The meat was dry.

04/02/2026: I wasn't particularly a kebab fan to begin with, but my partner loves them and practically forced me to try them again at this place, which he considers one of the best kebabs he's ever had. And I can confirm: it's excellent! It completely changed my mind about kebabs, to the point that now I'm the one asking to go back. In addition to the quality of the food, they always answer the phone, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it! 🤩

05/11/2025: A very disappointing Marie Blachère experience! The waitress wasn't particularly friendly, and many items were unavailable compared to other Marie Blachère locations (perhaps due to the busy lunchtime service). The restaurant is exposed to strong winds, so you're likely to catch a cold while making your choice. My slice of Reine pizza was overcooked and burnt on the side, and asking for it to be reheated only made it even more crispy and burnt. A real shame. Eating in requires a certain level of refinement, as none of the tables were wiped down and used paper napkins were still lying around (even though customers are supposed to clear their own tables when they leave, others shouldn't have to eat next to someone else's trash). And to top it all off, the toilets were in a deplorable state, with urine stains on the floor – the flies were having a field day! If you dry your hands, you'll have the pleasure of seeing a disgusting wall covered in hair... after a meal, nothing makes you want to vomit like that, what with the smells and the sheer awfulness! Seriously, for a chain like Marie Blachère, invest in staff if there aren't enough employees to do everything! I won't be going back!

01/11/2025: Hello, I politely asked an employee to slice my two day-old wholemeal loaves, and she replied, "I already told you we don't slice day-old bread." I left the loaf and went with my baguette. What's the difference between slicing day-old bread and freshly baked bread? The person will recognize themselves; not very professional.

19/02/2026: My favorite kebab since I was a kid! And even though I no longer live in Narbonne, it's still the first place I go when I arrive in the area. Without a doubt the best in Narbonne, I highly recommend it without hesitation!

18/02/2026: I've been going there for almost 10 years, and everything has changed. This is my third attempt before leaving a negative review! It's become expensive, and the portions have shrunk considerably. Recently, €8.50 for beef with onions... er, sorry, onions with beef! That's highway robbery! I won't be going back!

10/03/2026: So, I switched from LA SOURCE to LA GRANDE BRASSERIE with my team because La SOURCE is finished, the boss's attitude was too disappointing. At La Grande Brasserie, we found smiles again AND a boss who has the appreciation of his customers, thank you.
