03/09/2024: Le restaurant a une décoration magnifique et originale qui rend l'endroit vraiment très accueillant. Le personnel est chaleureux et qualifié. La nourriture est diversifiée et excellente, avec un menu très complet. Je vous le conseille vivement !

16/12/2024: This is one of the few delicious burgers I eat while traveling around Chamonix. If you want to eat indoors, you have to go to the second floor, but they are crowded together. The feeling of a good restaurant-!! If you see it passing by, I recommend finding it and trying it. I think it was around 19 euros for a classic burger + fizz fries + cola! In fact, there is nothing that tastes good around here... I think Cool Cat vs. Burger House will be slightly different depending on your taste.

16/01/2025: I should say this is a terrible place so that the "pearl of portes du soleil" could be preserved for the lucky few that know about it. But it doesn't feel right to say one bad word about this place even if that means you can keep it for yourself. That being said, this place is one of the best places to have dinner in the portes du soleil area, and it might even be the best in all over France! Here is why: - The owners Philip and Cecile are super friendly - The decent to the restaurant is one of the best especially when it is dark (that reminds me, bring a flashlight of some sort) - The food, especially the cheese and meat fondue are the most delicious i have ever had (accompanied with fresh fries and salad) - When ordering the cheese fondue (traditionally) they will add an egg to the last bit of the fondue which gives you a new dish - If you are sweet you'll get a home made chartreuse (if not just order one) - If you are not full at the end of your meal, you went to the wrong place. Good to know: The meat fondue is only available on week days as the butcher is closed in the weekends and they only serve fresh meat! Before you go: - Make sure you make a reservation by phone prior to your visit - Bring cash to avoid bank transfer hassle - Bring a flashlight with enough lumen - Hang your (ski) jacket outside - Make sure you enter with a positive mindset - Bring your singing voice as things might get musical After you leave: Tip Especially for Philip et Cecile: Merci d'avoir donné au monde cet endroit extraordinaire ! 25/08/2024: Turkish eggs were amazing, great coffee. Very friendly dog….beware also friendly wasps at the time we were there outside. Overall, brilliant…except the wasps!

20/09/2024: We first chose the restaurant based on the distance from the hotel. And we were super pleasantly surprised. Both by the atmosphere and the welcome. Reading the menu is difficult while the good smells of cooking tickle your nostrils: choosing is a difficult choice. The best thing is that everyone takes a different dish to share 😀 Ah the profiteroles, sooo good. An address to remember and return to

09/09/2024: Very cozy little restaurant with good mountain specialties. We ate very well, the onion soup was delicious and so was the fondue. And to top it all off, a very caring and friendly waitress as well as a attentive chef going around the tables to see if everything had gone well. Thank you to them for their welcome. The only downside is that unfortunately we are from Toulouse, it’s a long way to come back and eat 😁😘

26/11/2024: The food is not excellent but equal to the price. Too bad the service is not pleasant (perhaps due to the age of the gentleman...) super bitter.

26/11/2024: An unfortunately disappointing experience at this establishment. One morning, a colleague and I ordered a coffee and a squeezed orange juice to take away. My colleague paid for his coffee in cash, and I paid for my orange juice (charged €4.90 for a half-full glass). On my way out I noticed that I had been charged €6.40, probably because the coffee had been charged a second time by mistake. Two days later, I returned to explain the situation, in all kindness. Unfortunately, the reception was not up to par. The person who introduced himself as the boss refused to listen to my explanation and arrogantly accused me of lying (indirectly) claiming that my colleague had not paid. (All this for €1.50😅) I dropped the complaint to show him that I wasn't lying. After that he came with contempt to leave me a 2€ coin (which I of course did not accept) If the boss reads this comment, I strongly invite him to watch the surveillance cameras again to see the truth of my words because it is really very frustrating that I am looked down upon so much and that there was such a big lack of professionalism. 26/07/2024: Avec ma mère nous avons fait le trou de la mouche puis avons mangé dans ce chalet, c'était excellent, des produits locaux, une salade très jolie exactement ce dont j'avais besoin après la rando.

05/07/2024: Cadre magnifique au pied des montagnes avec encore de la neige sur les sommets. Une cuisine sans beignets ,ça nous change ! Que des compositions originales : mousse de chèvre à la confiture de pissenlit,charcuterie,fromage ,le tout décoré de fleurs ,un REGAL.Et les desserts originaux ,différents des desserts passe partout. Super accueil . Resto à refaire

16/11/2024: Very good restaurant, the best tacos in Annemasse with an exceptional cheese sauce. A pleasant atmosphere and quality service. If you want to taste delicious tacos, I highly recommend going there.

26/08/2024: I've eaten quite a bit of ramen and the beef ramen here is up there with the very best. Broth = umami sensation | noodles = in-house made, perfect bite | beef = succulent, moist | soy egg = absolute banger of an egg! Whole package = welcome to flavour town! My fiance had the burger, I had a bite, and that bite was damn good! Drinks were fantastic, try the chicken salt mescal, and the double sour they had on tap. Service = ace, relaxed but attentive. Absolute winner of a spot.
