14/04/2026: Superb restaurant in Tarbes! If you stumble upon it by chance, you'll return with pleasure. The dishes are excellent, with plenty of choice, all à la carte, at very reasonable prices. You can create a meal for a small fee, or a little more depending on your choices! A large terrace welcomes those who want to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and there's a lovely dining room inside. I would describe this place as bistronomic, as there are dishes that would be right at home in a fine dining restaurant. There's a daily special starting at €12.90, and starters from the menu starting at €2.50. Fabulous desserts include tarte tatin (€4.90), homemade chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and more. A special mention goes to the delicious confit lamb shank on a bed of crushed potatoes that we enjoyed for Easter; we hope they add it to their menu soon! The baby squid in their garlic sauce are a real treat! I also love their sweet potato fries—crispy and surprisingly not greasy at all! The excellent chef is quite the character! The waitresses and waiters are attentive and always smiling! It's a joy to come here, and keep coming back! I highly recommend this place.

03/04/2026: It's a very pretty and comfortable hotel right in the center of the village, just steps from the thermal baths and the gondola lift to the slopes. We received a very warm welcome, both charming and professional. Our room was lovely, bright, comfortable, and well-heated, with absolutely everything we needed (and even a few extras). Breakfast is perfect, served in the ski bar below the hotel. The ski bar is also a great place to have lunch and afternoon tea after skiing. Fantastic! We'll be back.

24/02/2026: Once again, a flawless experience for this hotel and all its staff! We come here very regularly as a family (grandparents, children, and grandchildren), and for us, it's the best option in the entire region: a charming hotel with all-wood decor, very well maintained, with many thoughtful touches both in and out of the room, and a fantastic team: special mention to Ambre, Matthias, and all the staff (including the wonderful housekeepers). We can't wait to come back!

09/03/2026: A fantastic team, we had a great evening here. The food is pretty good, and the owners and staff are super friendly, they give advice and help you out. A great place in Cauterets, like many others. Go for it, check out the menu and if a dish appeals to you, don't hesitate to try it!

I called again today to ask if it was available for three, and even though it was fully booked, the manager found me a table without any trouble – great service! 😁 The food was excellent (pulled duck burger and beef tartare), and the desserts were just as good. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you! 😁

03/03/2026: We had a weekend with friends, and this restaurant was recommended to us, but we were very disappointed by the owner who showed us incredible disdain. Luckily, the chef made us eat wonderfully, which made us forget this appalling welcome that we won't soon forget.

29/03/2026: Perfection is the best way to describe this tea room. Returning from a busy week in Spain, we stopped by this establishment with friends. The welcome was immediately warm from all the members of the team. The drinks and treats arrived very quickly and, above all, were excellent—a special mention for the hot dark chocolate, which was perfectly melted. All these thoughtful touches are enhanced by staff who genuinely care about their customers and share their good cheer! It's a true haven of warmth in the heart of this mountain village. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: On a weekend trip to Bagnères-de-Bigorre, We had dinner at 6:30 pm. The welcome was very warm, there was hardly any wait, and the dish was generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment 👌

26/03/2026: A restaurant decorated with newspaper front pages depicting the deaths of various celebrities—you could say it's a bold choice for a pleasant dining experience. Not to mention the broken TV screen—not very professional. But hey, we weren't there to watch TV. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. The manager's welcome is as cold as his burger buns. Furthermore, seeing a potential customer ask if there's room to eat (when the restaurant is empty), and the manager's sigh in response... You quickly realize what you're getting into. For that price, I would have liked to enjoy my meal. One thing is for sure: I won't be back.

01/01/2026: A fantastic restaurant in the heart of Tarbes. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, with a special mention for the two young waiters/waitresses. The food was truly excellent, absolutely delicious; all credit goes to the chef who clearly has a passion for his craft. A wonderful New Year's Eve. Pictured here is the scallop with ginger/lemon sauce and vegetable risotto. A choice I certainly didn't regret, even though I'm a meat lover! Thank you so much!

18/12/2025: Our association, the Rotary Club of Tarbes, held our Annual General Meeting at the La Colonne restaurant. We had a wonderful evening with a very warm welcome, thoughtful touches that made all the difference, and delicious food. I highly recommend them; they are excellent at hosting groups.
