10/09/2026: Exceptional food and service! They had extremely delicious vegetarian options. Everything was perfect. The husband-wife duo have created an extremely warm space. Do not miss when in Rennes. Reserve a table in advance.

10/09/2026: Fantastic from start to finish. La Petit Ourse is essentially a two person operation but you wouldn't realize it based on how beautiful and intricate the food can be. Charlotte who runs the front of the house operation is exceptionally warm and accommodating. The restaurant features multiple daily options including vegetarian ones and the dishes themselves are as beautiful as they are delicious. A must visit in Rennes and, honestly, one of my favorite meals in France period.

10/06/2026: What a lovely host and what fantastic food. A very nice place that reminded me a lot of Koffie enzo in Delft. The host grew up in England so he speaks fluent English, but is French. What a fantastic person. We both had the lunch menu (soup of the day (2 types), salad, and a croque monsieur (3 types)). Very tasty!

28/06/2026: We were looking for a simple restaurant, and we ended up finding a little gem 👌 The food, the service, the menu selection—everything is really great. Remember to book if you can, because it gets very busy after lunchtime.

21/08/2026: Average overall. The fries are very good, the meat is perfectly cooked, and the lemon tart is tasty with an original presentation. However, the ice cream isn't even homemade. The waiter is friendly but absentminded and poorly dressed, the atmosphere is mediocre, and the prices are too high.

25/08/2026: I came here because the reviews said they had good steak, but it was absolutely terrible. Tough, fatty, and almost impossible to cut, even with a steak knife. Go somewhere else. Anywhere.

23/08/2026: I probably went to the wrong place because I wanted to eat fish. I had the fish of the day, which unfortunately was too dry. They had many nice wines by the glass. I didn't think it was good value for money.

23/07/2026: We had a drink there in a typical pub atmosphere. Plenty of draft beer selection and even cider on tap. However, the seating wasn't comfortable (small, low wooden stools). Good music.

17/08/2026: Very disappointed. I was looking for a brut beer for someone on a diet, the seller, although a brewer, didn't know what it was and sold me beers that didn't fit the bill at all, claiming that it didn't exist.

13/07/2026: The selection of draft beers is decent, priced at €6 a pint during happy hour. The burger was good, and the accompanying fries were excellent—a welcome change from Metro fries. My rating is due to the staff. I ordered a pint from the bar before me, which was standing near the till. I didn't see the owner put the beer down while the waitress was ringing me up. I asked if it was mine, and she replied aggressively, "Well, whose is it, anyway?" The waitress was completely blasé; you wonder what she was doing there. The bar is okay, but I don't think I'll be back because of the service.

12/08/2026: In a very cool atmosphere, the lunch is excellent. The oysters are superb, and the charcuterie and cheese platter is simply divine. As usual, we'll be back next year. Hoping to see our good old dog again!

09/08/2026: An unusual place with its boat-shaped bar, its wide variety of infused rums, and the very friendly and down-to-earth owner, Martine, who has a great sense of humor and speaks her mind. The homemade Breton far was delicious. Thank you for this lovely, relaxing moment.

02/08/2026: Good atmosphere. Quality cuisine, seafood. There was a problem with the reservation; the booking website automatically transferred my reservation to 9:15 PM without warning. The restaurant has two seatings, so it's either 7:30 PM or 9:15 PM, but several diners were waiting for their tables at 9:15 PM. Luckily, I had the foresight to call the restaurant beforehand to reserve a table on the terrace, and they informed me of the new time.

02/08/2026: A very good experience. The wait was a little long (about 40 minutes) but the restaurant was full. The dishes and desserts were delicious and the portions were generous. A perfectly paired fillet of black cod for the main course and a chocolate mousse full of surprises for dessert. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it!
