08/09/2024: We had only starter and desserts. But, both were absolutely delicious! The dessert was the best what i ever had in restaurant. Friendly owners. We definitely come back.
Update 2024:
We came back after year and it was catastrophic. First of all, staff were really rude(maybe cause we dont speak French? But it was not problem in previous visit). We waited for food for ages and it was not tasty at all. I dont think its only our opinion, cause table next to us didnt even finish their food.
We waited for payment for hour.
We cant recommed after this experience.

Vue sur la mer appréciée.
L’endroit est à 20 mn de saint Malo intra muros bien au calme.
La carte est variée et l’addition légère.
Les produits sont frais et très bien travaillés.

14/04/2024: One of the best value for money bars on Rue de la Soif! I'm used to it and I'm always delighted with the service and the atmosphere. cocktails and shooters good and not too expensive! I highly recommend this bar. Often good music and great staff!

02/09/2024: Disturbing evening - in a really nice and welcoming bistro - certainly the time doesn't help us, we stop here because it is the first place we find to have a drink in an already late evening - nothing to eat except a series of pâtés (which for how they were served gave me the idea of baby food) - overall the evening was somehow done

Perhaps the clientele falls from the sky in the summer, thanks to the reputation gleaned in the past. But with such quality of service and the normal difficulties linked to a change of owners ⚠️, A reputation is preserved where it is lost.
On this morning when friendliness and good nature were at half mast, we still had two different tables leave your terrace without consuming.
We, who liked to end our Sunday stroll at your place, we are going to change route for a moment before coming back... or not.
28/08/2024: I occasionally had lunch at Le Cancalais in Saint-Malo, but my last experience was disappointing. Sitting on the terrace with a friend, I asked for a specific drink that the waiter didn't have, which wasn't a problem. I then ask him if he has a card, and he replies curtly: “I don’t have a card, and I don’t have the drink you’re looking for.” » I thank him, specifying that I had understood correctly from the first time, but his next response left me perplexed by its condescending tone: “I can answer all your questions though…”.
When I ask him what else he can offer us, he persists with the same snide attitude, repeating that he can answer my questions. Finally, I decided to leave without using; out of the question of giving them my money after such a welcome. As I was leaving, I mentioned that it was better before, and the waiter had the audacity to respond, “That was before.” The class…
