30/08/2026: Location: Talensac Market. For half a loaf of spelt bread, which is supposed to be 500g, I paid €9.36. Outrageous! I call it a rip-off. Customer service is essential; 720g is far from 500g. This was my first visit; it's a shame there won't be another.

20/08/2026: It's hard to do better: exceptional breads and pastries, plus top-notch cuisine, setting and staff.

17/10/2026: I don’t even know how this place works as food place. It works fine for a bar i suppose, but food was terrible. I don’t think i’ve ever eaten such bad pizza, but imagine they brought it and it was half hot and half cold at places, so i asked them to heat it again. No apologies, nothing, as it was something normal. I think pizza from supermarket definitely tastes better than this. And for 14€. Some other of my friends ordered a burger that at least tasted better. I would say if you can’t even prepare a pizza to be hot enough, then you have a problem with your kitchen.

21/09/2026: Upon entering, the first thing that hits you is the captivating aroma of chocolate. The place is elegantly furnished with dark wood and glass. Thomas's welcome is friendly, smiling, and professional. Last but not least, and because it's the reason people come here, the chocolates and pastries are excellent (although there's only one kouign-amann, and it's in Douarnenez... But I'm biased 😏😁).

29/09/2026: Disappointment: We've stayed at this inn before, back when they had buffets. Now, for 25 euros per person without drinks or coffee, we got a starter buffet that you have to be into! Only one serving allowed… (herring and tomato salad, hard-boiled eggs, marinated anchovy fillets, corn, bean sprouts without sauce; main course: overcooked sea bream fillet with sweet potato mash; dessert: crème brûlée (store-bought) served in a shallow bowl, or rum baba without rum). For the price and quality, and considering there weren't many of us, it's very expensive and nowhere near what it used to be.

08/09/2026: After more than three years in Nantes, regularly eating kebabs, I can promise you that La Rose des Sables is by far the best, with their cheese naan that makes all the difference.

04/10/2026: The service was a bit slow and increasingly expensive. Otherwise, everything else was impeccable.

06/10/2026: Cold welcome, not very friendly at the drive-thru. No menu displayed, making it difficult to choose what you want to eat. Too bad, the wraps were decent.

30/09/2026: An absolutely unforgettable gastronomic experience… but not in a good way. The nuggets were disgusting: a revolting breading and a barely cooked interior. The fries, meanwhile, seemed to have been served straight from the freezer: cold, undercooked, and so white they looked like they were still waiting to be deep-fried. And the burger… a true work of contemporary art. Completely flattened, it looked like it had been punched before it even made it into the box. As for the bacon, we practically had to look for it with a magnifying glass, it was practically nonexistent. In short, thanks McDonald’s for this meal that mostly made us feel like we were participating in a scientific experiment on the limits of cooking. Next time, maybe I’ll ask for the raw dough and the packaging, just to be sure I get something fresh.

03/08/2026: The staff were unpleasant, both at reception, on the phone, and when picking up the pizzas. The pizzas themselves need improvement. They were unfriendly; I absolutely do not recommend them. I would even advise you to look elsewhere.

14/07/2026: It's a shame, I was entitled to a free pizza and the waitress told me it would be next time. But that wasn't true. I'm very disappointed.

20/10/2026: It was a great experience to eat such dishes on a boat on the edge of the island of Nantes, the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, I recommend it!

19/10/2026: I had the pleasure of organizing my wedding meal for 60 people. In a magnificent setting, with a wonderful and attentive team, flawless organization, and a meal enjoyed by all the guests, I highly recommend them!

02/09/2026: A lovely spot to get some work done, have a coffee, or grab a bite. The last time I was there, card payments weren’t working — hopefully that’s been fixed by now :)

18/10/2026: First time I've been disappointed here... Our click & collect order was advertised as available until 11:59 PM, but Google indicated a closing time of midnight. When we arrived to pick up our order at 11:40 PM, they refused to serve us, claiming they closed at 11:30 PM.

15/08/2026: A lovely discovery. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. The menu changes quite often (we went twice). I particularly recommend the terrace behind the restaurant.
