03/12/2024: A kosher cafe which obviously do not welcome foreigners (on what basis?) and prefer regular customers than pass by’ers. Pitty, it was nice coffee and food.

28/11/2024: Use of home baking I The bread is always fresh crispy in Testérieur and encoless in Finéricar. The viernoisenes are a real delight, and the pastries, refined and creative, are to die for. The service is warm and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I recommend!

01/10/2024: Very sad. Our snitzel is tough and tasteless. The onion soup has little cheese and less onions.

29/09/2024: Reasonably priced, nice staff, very good creme brulee, the cappuccino wasn't to our taste.

30/12/2025: The setting is lovely; it's quite unusual to be in the opera house for brunch, with its high ceilings and relatively few tables, making the space feel pleasant. The service was average: a rather inattentive and almost nonchalant waiter. We waited an hour and 25 minutes to be served, even though there were only four of us and we ordered the standard menu, which consisted largely of cold dishes, so there was no justification for such a long wait. The quality is acceptable for €30, but given the location, one expects better (concentrated orange juice from a carton, mass-produced pastries, etc.), even if it means paying a few euros more. One positive point: a nice selection of teas, which were very good.

28/12/2025: The atmosphere was icy, and not just because of the temperature. The restaurant was clearly closed for holidays after our visit, but still: no more beer, half the menu unavailable, no desserts, and they wouldn't accept our lunch menu... In short! A waitress was juggling service and cooking (she was friendly, though) while the owner was busy drinking at the bar... We waited and waited and waited...! Cold sausages, potato salad that looked like it came straight from a pre-made container, two tiny pieces of avocado in the sandwich, and warm apple juice that had clearly been brewing for days... We chose this restaurant over the baguettes from the Christmas market... What a disappointment!

07/12/2025: I don't regret stopping at this restaurant, which has a warm atmosphere, a friendly waiter, and excellent cuisine, reflecting the spirit of Strasbourg and the Alsace region. Thank you for everything, and see you very soon.

23/09/2025: We immediately fell in love with the view from the riverside restaurant. The tartes flambées, the salad, and the drinks... in short, everything was truly delicious! However, we were disappointed by the service. The waitress was quite rude from the start, and because of this, we didn't even dare order dessert. She seemed to address everyone in the same way, so it wasn't personal. One rather surprising moment: while advising us on our menu choices, she assumed my friend was Muslim and only offered dishes without pork... Despite everything, I recommend this restaurant for its view and its dishes. As for the service, don't expect much—in fact, in Strasbourg, I've never experienced truly pleasant service!

22/12/2025: Disgusting and unsanitary. A kebab shop that doesn't meet hygiene standards, cold meat rotating on an unlit spit. Flies and cockroaches crawling around the shop. Filthy...

28/01/2026: Quite a nice place, I was here with a big group and I didn't pay for the room myself, so I can't say if this had any impact on my review. The room was quite nice, a bit strangely laid out and there was nothing in the bathroom to dry your hands on. Also, there was no locked place for luggage which you would expect from a hostel. I thought the breakfast was quite good, but I've had better. The service was nice.

29/09/2024: If you pass the almost impassable test of the front door, the icy atmosphere will take over to make you listen to reason: to satisfy your hunger you are on the wrong path! Unpleasant welcome, misunderstood order, food thrown on the ground, missing products, nothing stops these standard doors of mediocrity. Their motto: always less good, always less effort. The only merit of this establishment is that it will whet your appetite at a lower cost! A sign to visit for any future franchisee who will see it as the perfect example of the worst ways of running a restaurant. Something bad is good...

05/10/2025: We loved this restaurant. Special mention goes to the attentive service despite having to deal with other customers, and to the perfectly cooked wild boar fillet. We will gladly return.

23/06/2025: The service seemed adequate to me, but the menu has shrunk considerably. And it must be said, the sangria is really not great! It's almost shameful to sell it under the name sangria. As for the food, I don't know.
