29/08/2024: L’endroit fait de ce restaurant un piège à touriste. À part de tourner comme des hélices, sans connaître l’emplacement des tables. Trois tentatives de nous servir l’apéritif que nous avions commandé ! Les serveurs doivent avoir l’interdiction de sourire. Vraiment tous crispés ! Aucun plaisir..!! Les tartes flambées étaient bonnes, à voir les assiettes de nos voisins, cela avait l’air bon et bien servi. C’est certain on n’y retournera pas !

02/10/2024: On this rainy day in Strasbourg, we decided to eat a choucroute at Le Tire-Bouchon and we did well! The food is very good, the service is friendly and the setting is very pleasant. After the very good sauerkraut, we had a baba kouuelhopf with rum, a delight in every bite! We recommend this winstub without hesitation 👍

02/10/2024: Very warm welcome, delicious food, friendly staff. We went 2 times and both times in the evening there were a lot of people, locals, I think this is a sign of quality. On the first evening, we ordered the same thing as the girl sitting at the next table; she ate cheese and potatoes with such pleasure that we couldn’t resist and took it too. And the next evening, memories of cheese and potatoes and delicious fresh beer did not allow us to go to bed peacefully until we went to this restaurant again. And what a delicate creme brulee cannot be described in words, perfect in texture, sweetness and fat content.

26/09/2024: It's very cozy, a nice boss, attentive waiters. The cuisine lacks a little bit of vegetable accompaniment but it is very good, especially the main course...the desserts also lack a little choice because in these restaurants you want to taste everything that is traditional so a gourmet coffee must be on the menu...MTN it was a good little restaurant.

14/09/2024: Wir waren zum Mittagessen in diesm fantastischen Restaurant. Der Tisch im zweiten Stock mit Blick in die Küche war toll. Der Service sehr aufmerksam, nett und fachkundig mit Humor wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war vorzüglich sehr schön zubereitet und von hersusragender Qualität, der Wein sehr passend und sehr fein. Wir können dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen es ist ein Erlebnis hier Gast zu sein.

01/09/2024: A rather exceptional culinary experience, beautiful flavors, precise cooking, and incredible attention to detail in the decoration of the dishes. The beauty and refinement of the dishes contribute greatly to this beautiful culinary escapade through beefsteak tomatoes, lobster, caviar.... Conversely, we were disappointed by the service, only false notes! The waiter came to take our choice of wines even though we did not have the menu [...difficult to choose... ] Clearing one of the plates while my partner was still eating... Coffee served without spoon or sugar. .. We choose the “prestige” wine pairing at €90 per person / 5 glasses [white wine pairings of our choice]. We were very surprised to see different wines [different countries, grape varieties, winemakers] served in the same glass! New trend? New practice? The explanations given by the server did not convince us, especially the ecological argument! What a shame!

07/09/2024: A superb discovery for this restaurant. The cuisine is homemade The service was perfect A small room and small menu, for a GREAT moment of pleasure. The chef goes from table to table ensuring that everything goes well. Thank you to the charming couple, owners of the place for their impeccable welcome.

17/08/2024: Non lasciatevi ingannare dai locali tipici nel graticcio sono una fregatura per turisti. Andate qui, a lavorare c’è solo marito e moglie , solo 6 tavoli, il saper fare della cucina semplice ma di gran valore. Ha il suo costo ma ne vale ogni euro. Provare per credere

30/07/2024: We like coffee especially flat white on alternative milk, such as oat milk or coconut milk. So in Strasbourg not many coffee shops which serve this kind coffee. I want to say that this Tonton gâteau cafe is one of the best and delicious coffee so far in Strasbourg. So if you want to try good coffee - it’s the right place. Also location is very good as well. Parking place is right behind the corner. Very convenient.

30/07/2024: Amazing food for a quick lunch, they have both savory and sweet options. Everything is very delicious! The staff is also super nice and polite!

23/08/2024: A l'écart des abords de la Cathédrale, vous trouverez un havre bien sympathique sur cette place Gayot. Passez un bon moment à "La table de Gayot". La carte est simple mais contentera tous les goûts. Les plats sont à base de bons produits dont la préparation est parfaitement maîtrisée. Et l'accueil est sympathique et plein d'humour. Ne passez pas à côté de ce bon moment.

21/08/2024: Très bonne cuisine traditionnelle faite maison. Les rognons accompagnés de spatzle et de petits légumes étaient excellents et l'assiette copieuse. Service sympathique. Terrasse ombragée sur la place Gayot

25/08/2024: Ho cenato in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia, inclusi i miei bambini di 9 e 11 anni. I piatti sono colorati e con sapori esotici decisamente interessanti. Le salse di diverso livello di piccantezza sono servite a parte in modo da poterne usufruire a piacere. Cibo veramente delizioso. Abbiamo anche irrorato la cena con vino bianco in caraffa, non indimenticabile ma adatto alle pietanze. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è stato ottimo. Personale attento, sorridente, disponibile ed estremamente cortese. Esperienza da ripetere nel futuro.

24/08/2024: Really really good, we enjoyed it. The flavors are incredible. The coconut tart really reminded me of the one I had eaten in Reunion. And the servers are smiling, welcoming and really friendly. I recommend! It's a small restaurant, remember to make a reservation. And it's on a pedestrian street, so not easy to access if you come by car. You have to find a place in the streets further away and walk a little.

20/10/2024: En visite à Strasbourg, nous sommes arrivés au restaurant sans réservé (je précise) un vendredi soir à 19h30 avec un restaurant vide. J’ai demandé à la serveuse me fixant avec insistance et me dit assez froidement que toutes les tables sont réservés (pas de chance). J’ai proposé au vu des kilomètres à pieds que nous avons fait du centre ville de manger sur leur terrasse à ce moment là vide également comme il ne faisait pas froid, et me répond sèchement qu’ils ne servent pas en terrasse .. ce qui je trouve est dommage pour le patron de l’établissement que c’est deux couverts de perdus… je ne peux juger donc sur la cuisine mais en tout cas, je trouve qu’ils auraient pu trouver une solution pour nous accueillir. Dommage

29/11/2024: Very nice discovery of this restaurant which is an institution in Neudorf. We had the cordon bleu and the breaded veal escalope. A sweet blend of generosity and quality. Only downside: the accompaniments are small in quantity…. Great cozy restaurant! I recommend.

13/09/2024: Un rapport qualité prix de ce niveau a Strasbourg devient de plus en plus rare. Excellent menus du jour. Choix de vins et accueil chaleureux. On y revient a chaque fois avec grand plaisir. Une adresse a conseiller

13/08/2024: Truly excellent! Small, very friendly family restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable. The menu is delicious and very well served. The products are fresh and very good. The map is not provided (guarantee of quality) but local (Syrian). The service is friendly and helpful. The wine is good and at a more than fair price. I will come back without hesitation! Edit: after several years, it's still good!
