28/05/2026: A very good bakery. The welcome is always very warm, and the bread and pastries are excellent. The butter croissants and pain au chocolat are a real treat.

21/06/2026: We ate at this small restaurant, which had a beautiful and tastefully decorated interior. We received a very warm welcome from the staff. We ordered the €38 set menu per person (starter, main course, cheese, dessert). The cuisine was refined, and we were particularly impressed by the sausage terrine. The flavor was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The only slight drawback was that the dishes were a little lukewarm. We recommend stopping by for a meal when you're in La Rochelle.

20/06/2026: We came for lunch today and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we mentioned that I was gluten-free. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was adapted to my dietary restrictions at no extra charge, and always with a smile, which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The dishes were excellent, the service was quick and attentive, and the entire team was very friendly and welcoming. A truly great place with excellent value for money.

02/08/2026: I picked up a box of Too Good to Go at this small but quaint boulangerie at the entrance to the covered market, worth just a few euros, and the friendly owner filled a fruit box with tarts, bread, brioche, quiche, and cakes, all delicious and fresh daily. A large quantity of excellent quality products. Unfortunately, I was just passing through La Rochelle, but if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular customer.

16/09/2026: The service was nice, though the staff seemed a bit tired as the season was winding down, which I can completely understand, but they were still pleasant nonetheless. The crepes we ordered were very large and generously portioned, though mine had a bit too much butter—and that's coming from a very well-built guy! 😅 The bowl of cider was a nice touch, and the terrace setting was impeccable. I recommend it.
