24/05/2026: We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and stumbled upon this Italian deli under the arcades. Even in the window, all the dishes looked tempting—a feast for the eyes—and once they were on our plates, it was exactly the same. Go for it without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. We'll be back!

13/05/2026: The food is delicious, especially the lasagna! A bit pricey if you have a big appetite, but it's worth it! It's a shame the dining room is so small! Their cooking more than makes up for it!

09/07/2026: Hmmm.... I'm unsure how to rate this establishment because they don't even have a drinks menu. So how are you supposed to know what to order for a drink. Albeit we ordered a bottle of Italian rosé which was ok and not overly dear. But I absolutely would have preferred a pint of peroni on draft.... What is wrong with these establishment a drinks menu should always be available even if on a chalk board. It's unusual especially for diners on holiday. Or am I missing something. Our food was expensive and tasteless. We ordered Spag BOL which had little to no meat in every bite to consider it was a bolognese sauce very poor watery with no flavour other than copious amounts of parasan cheese I added and my husband's caborna again had runny white cheese running through it and again watery & salty with no flavour from the very little bacon in it. Pasta was overcooked therefore it became very sogdy and very underwhelming. We absolutely wouldn't eat here again as much better pasta at another establishment on the water front that was far superior and cheaper.

06/07/2026: We vomited that night after eating at this restaurant. The Bolognese pasta was tasteless and the sauce was watery. The same went for the tortellini. The prices seem reasonable until you see the small portions. We were still hungry after dinner. The service felt rushed. We weren't comfortable.

26/06/2026: The owners are always very welcoming and the food is always excellent (homemade, not industrial), which is why I return to this restaurant whenever I have the opportunity to be in La Rochelle.

10/06/2026: I was quite disappointed with my visit. The staff provided the bare minimum of service; admittedly, it was fairly busy, but the welcome wasn't very warm, as if I were bothering them. After paying, I barely even said goodbye.

21/05/2026: We loved the simple concept. We ate oysters, prawns, and grilled calamari; everything was delicious. Terrace overlooking the harbor.

21/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The oysters were a delight, bursting with ocean freshness. The mussels en papillote made us want to come back... The place is simple and friendly, the kind of place we'd love to find instead of fast food... We wish them a great season; they deserve it, and this place is well worth the detour.

10/07/2026: A very comprehensive selection of magazines and newspapers, undoubtedly the most comprehensive in La Rochelle. The staff are lovely.

03/05/2026: The setting is exceptional, but the Italian flavor isn't fully present ☹️😞 The pizzas are delicious, especially the focaccia, which is fantastic. However, the pasta dishes are disappointing; they're cooked in the French style, resulting in soggy, sticky pasta. It's a shame.
