16/09/2024: Nice place for a dinner with a view of the port. The service is impeccable, the staff are smiling (even in the middle of August with a crowded restaurant) and we had a great time. The dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Don't forget the aperitif cocktail which adds something positive to the experience.

Only one small problem: no Saumur on the menu 😉

13/09/2024: We went there as a family, I didn't know this address and it's a great little restaurant, the food is good and the staff is super friendly, the little house cocktail at the end of the meal is incredible, super sweet and delicious. drinks alone. We will return.

16/09/2024: We choose this restaurant for two reasons: it was reasonably close to our hotel and got good on-line reviews. The meal we had was possibly the best of our two-week holiday travelling around north-west France. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and not unduly expensive for the standard. We really enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend Le Mail.

24/09/2024: A beautiful view... spoiled by an unpleasant welcome from the waiter, which is ultra-rare in La Rochelle. We went to eat our ice cream on the port, the view is also beautiful and the service charming.
19/09/2024: Wow, what a disappointment this afternoon, September 19th. We went to the Corniche for a drink... greeted by an extremely stressed young waiter!!!! To whom we asked to shift a table by 50 cm (NO MORE) to be in the shade.... impossible, he told us.... so we went to the Casino where we not only found an impeccable welcome but a service worthy of the name.

01/09/2024: Les meilleurs accra de morue depuis la Martinique ! Mais bien d'autres excellent plats maison : poulpe au chorizo MAGNIFIQUE.
Jolie salle soignée, Service aimable par le fils de la maison et les parents avec qui nous avons eu le plaisir d'échanger . Notre chien ( calme) a été gentiment accueilli.
25/08/2024: A lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Family run. Fast and friendly service. Top cuisine with good products cooked with taste and passion. I enjoyed myself. Wine list with lots of organic and natural choices. It is not at the seaside but in a pretty little alley in the center. A “to do” if you pass through La Rochelle.

Et il cuisine (dans son restaurant).
moi je je dis que Jeremy et son épouse sont deux extraterrestres de la mer, (ou des extramerestres)...des personnes comme on en fait plus !
Vraiment un endroit à découvrir, mais il faudra toujours me faire une petite place pour les jours de Matchs (en face du stade marcel Deflandre).
02/03/2024: With your eyes closed....the fishmonger also tries to offer as many line-caught fish as possible. This should be emphasized if we feel at all concerned by environmental issues. The prepared meals are also delicious. The store also offers the Uini's brand, which makes it absolutely essential in this district marked by the massive presence of Stade Rochelais. The welcome is like the place: authentic and passionate.
