29/06/2026: If you're looking for Italian food, this is the perfect place. The setting is charming, and the meal was delicious. However, there was one small drawback: like in many restaurants, they took our order just as we were bringing our aperitif (even though the place wasn't crowded at all). A little Italian music would be a nice touch. Good to know: they do takeout.

15/03/2026: This is the second time I've been here, and both times I've been practically refused service. The first time, I had to insist just to get a coffee and a dessert. This morning, after waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes and several reminders, no one came to take my order. They looked at me, dusted the coffee maker, but no one bothered to come and see me. I find this very disrespectful to customers. As for me, I won't be going back.

28/05/2026: Overall, a rather disappointing experience. The salad wasn't particularly good, and given the prices, one would expect a minimum level of service, whereas you have to collect your own food and clear your own table. The place itself is nothing special, although the sea view is pleasant. It's a shame, because the setting could have offered a much better experience. I won't be returning.

23/04/2026: Inconvenient: you book online and arrive only to find out the establishment is closed due to financial difficulties! And this isn't mentioned anywhere! 😡 We didn't even get in before we knew we wouldn't be back!

09/05/2026: I bought some Tarte Tropézienne. And then I thought to myself that the pastry chef at D'Jolly must have left, taking the recipe book with him. So much for its lightness and delicious taste. What a shame!

20/05/2026: The meat and fish were undercooked, with no suggested side dishes for the vegetables and no mention of them on the menu. I'm not sure the products were fresh! The establishment wasn't clean. Expensive for what we ate. Disappointed.

19/04/2026: A very bad experience. From the start, I received inappropriate comments on my phone twice (because I was on my phone while waiting for my food). The service was extremely slow: over 15 minutes of waiting just to get ketchup, despite asking two different servers and repeating the request several times. You clearly get the impression you're bothering them as soon as you ask for anything, and on top of that, you get unpleasant reactions (sighs, etc.). The fries were frozen, which is disappointing, and the cheese on the burger was barely melted. Organization-wise, nothing works: the server came back three times to ask for desserts because he'd forgotten them, and the birthday candle was placed on the wrong dessert. Finally, the facilities leave much to be desired: windows that are stuck and won't open, a toilet door that won't close, and you can't even hear yourself speak because of the noise. Overall, the service and quality were far below expectations.

01/07/2026: It's a shame to be so well located and yet forget that customer service is what makes a business so reputable. Apparently, simply ordering a coffee isn't considered good enough, and charging €2 for a tiny cup is a bit much; once again, basic customer service has been neglected. 03/10/2025: We went to the door after seeing the good reviews on Google. Once there, at 7 p.m., we waited more than 30 minutes: still closed. The hours are not indicated on Google or on the door (just "open lunch and dinner" without any details). We also called, without answer. Passing through La Rochelle, we were disappointed not to have been able to try it.

13/05/2026: Order placed at 9:58 PM, I waited 42 minutes for two appetizers and one dessert. A real shame, but it's understandable with only two employees to run the shop.

30/05/2026: So disappointed once again. We're regulars at this restaurant; it's the closest to our home and work. The last three times we ordered, something was missing or it was completely cold… Last night we picked up our order since delivery arrives cold… once again, almost a €60 order, 2280 rösti but no rösti, one missing potato, and no sauce… Last time I called, but no compensation was offered for the inconvenience. €60 is a lot of money, after all… Very, very disappointed. We love McDonald's, but nothing ever goes right!

29/05/2026: McDonald's is quite nice overall, with a rather pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the hygiene is really lacking; the tables are often dirty, which somewhat spoils the experience. The floor in the restaurant area is sticky, but the state of the restrooms is unacceptable. It's a McDonald's, so you shouldn't expect too much. But even so, I at least expected a clean table without any hairs and faster service than a 20-minute wait. It's regrettable that a global brand like McDonald's operates with such an unprofessional staff.

12/05/2026: This bar is a fantastic find. We had an amazing time there for my bachelorette party. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and approachable. The music was great, and the cocktails were excellent. If you want to have a good time, you absolutely have to stop by! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

02/05/2026: A pint of Guinness was a staggering 9€, more than París or London. Probably the most expensive Guinness in Europe, I dont know how they can possibly justify that. A pity, because apart from the extortionate prices, it is a lovely bar
