30/05/2026: Always a wonderful experience at L'Aile de Ré. The setting is lovely, the welcome warm, and the service attentive from start to finish. The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with care. You can feel the professionalism and passion of the entire team. A truly excellent restaurant in Bois-Plage-en-Ré that I highly recommend.
30/05/2026: A very good experience, everything was perfect: the food, the welcome, the interactions. We also appreciated the bike parking right across the street and the fact that our son had a similar meal to the adults but in a smaller portion – a real change from the often bland "children's menus" where nothing is actually cooked. The desserts are delicious, especially the salted caramel brioche. In short, excellent value for money, much better than many of the harborside restaurants.

The service was pleasant, the staff very attentive and explained the menu items clearly!
The food was INCREDIBLE, with excellent ingredients and high-quality ingredients!

18/05/2026: A very good restaurant: quality ingredients, original dishes in a lovely setting. The only downside was the much-touted terrace, which meant we had to eat in the cold despite the blankets kindly provided. Remember to ask when you make your reservation whether your table is inside or outside so you can dress accordingly 😉

05/05/2026: Amazing experience at Le Bastion! We went for a hen weekend over May Day, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere was incredible, the singer during dinner had an exceptional voice, the staff was fantastic, and we had a blast.
The value for money is excellent, no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this place for a successful night out with friends!

27/04/2026: A very pleasant bistro, both in terms of decor and service. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, especially thanks to the terrace overlooking the harbor, which is a real bonus.
The food is generally very good, with some dishes being particularly well-executed. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a welcome way to finish a meal.
However, the prices are quite high, clearly in a touristy range, comparable to those found in Paris. Overall, a good place to eat, pleasant for a convivial meal, although the value for money might be a little less than ideal.
27/04/2026: We enjoyed our lunch during our visit to St Martin en Ré. We will be back.

The food is good, and there's a good selection.
The atmosphere is decent, though a bit noisy.
We recommend booking in advance. It's a shame that during the off-season, the restaurant doesn't accept reservations after 8 pm.

Excellent, just like the staff. Great restaurant!

My wife and daughter ordered mussels.
I've never seen mussels like these.
There were more shellfish than mussels inside.
And when we pointed it out to the owner,
nothing.
And their only response was, "I know, we're sorry, it's not the season yet." How can you tell a customer that if you know it's inedible? Why sell it?
And then there are the menu prices for frozen food! And don't tell me you're paying for the view, because seeing a harbor at low tide...
Luckily, two young waiters managed to cheer us up with their smiles and kindness! Thank you, young people! And good luck to you all this season, because with such unpleasant owners, I don't know how they manage to stay!
I won't hesitate to leave a review on TripAdvisor and other sites as well.

The servers are so laid-back, it's like we're on an island!!
26/05/2026: We sat there to grab a drink and a desert. As soon as we sat the girl approched us, since the menue was not yet loaded we asked the waiters to give us couples of min, she gave us a FACE and came after 3 min; we asked for a desert and a beer. She told us for the desert we have to go to the next place! Then why do you have it in the menu, if you don't serve it !! I asked to give me a minute to think of something esle! She became irritated and give a me a very rude look and a rolled eyes! If I asked for something on your menu and you said you cant get me, don't be surprised if I need time to think what else your highness can provide!!! VERY RUDE WOMAN. I SUGGEST THE WOMAN WORK IN ANOTHER SECTOR and NOT HOSPITALLITY! SHE IS NOT BIULD FOR HOSPITALITY, SHE IS very RUDE. Its a shame for such a lovely terrace.

Server (probably the owner) not very clean, elbow and t-shirt covered in blood.
Very dirty place, completely out of place next to a 5-star hotel.
I don't recommend it.

L'accueil et le service sont chaleureux.
Le calme de l'autre côté du port est appréciable. On recommande !
