31/03/2026: An exceptional experience! Cooking over a wood fire brings an authentic and incomparable flavor to every dish. Special mention goes to the mussel éclade, perfectly executed: flavorful, juicy mussels, delicately perfumed by the pine needles. The atmosphere is warm, the service attentive and friendly. You can taste the passion for local produce in every plate. A must-visit for lovers of traditional and generous cuisine. We will gladly return!
07/03/2026: Simple yet refined cuisine; the scallops smoked over pine over a wood fire were exceptionally flavorful. Excellent service and a fantastic atmosphere.

12/04/2026: A very warm welcome before the start of evening service, and without a reservation. The dishes and crepes were generously portioned. Reasonable prices for the location and compared to the competition. A very pleasant staff to discover on the port.
11/04/2026: Fantastic stay at Les Colonnes, a hotel with character. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the location on the port is a dream. I can't wait to go back in June!

10/03/2026: Excellent welcome. Remarkable cuisine. A great restaurant in its simplicity.
09/03/2026: Got a table on the busy terrace and was told that the kitchen was closed. Even a cheese platter was not possible. Hence asked to get a coffee.
Meanwhile a table of 10 next to me was getting their 2nd dish. The one to the right, getting their soufflé desert.
I can’t call this good service.

28/03/2026: Pleasant location on the harbor with a sunny terrace.
Friendly service (although the two waiters we had were a bit overbearing).
Food quality: nothing special.
Rather expensive: €12 for a plate of 10 standard shrimp (and not even a finger bowl included: you have to ask for it!). The salad dressing was industrial (?).
Not even a small chocolate to accompany the coffee!
The restaurant's main appeal is its setting.
28/03/2026: Very disrespectful and unfriendly hostess. Do not expect to be treated like a customer. As a native who left 10 years ago, I can confirm this is the only place in the world where customers are treated so poorly

The food is good, and there's a good selection.
The atmosphere is decent, though a bit noisy.
We recommend booking in advance. It's a shame that during the off-season, the restaurant doesn't accept reservations after 8 pm.

I recommend it.

16/04/2026: A legendary spot on Île de Ré where the festive atmosphere is top-notch. The food and menu are acceptable, nothing more, but you go there for the ambiance, the setting, and the atmosphere. The service, however, is always exceptional and attentive. We are and will remain loyal customers.
04/04/2026: We went to the club when it opened. The atmosphere was great. The DJ was fantastic, with music for all tastes. The waiters and bartenders were lovely. Max on the shuttle was truly the boss, and it was so nice to get home safely in such good conditions. Le Bastion gets a 10/10, come every night without hesitation!

Server (probably the owner) not very clean, elbow and t-shirt covered in blood.
Very dirty place, completely out of place next to a 5-star hotel.
I don't recommend it.

27/03/2026: €10 minimum charge to sit outside. No wonder there is no one here. Find somewhere else if you’re on your own and only want a coffee. Disgraceful. It does warn you on tables. But still.
22/03/2026: Okay. Just had a drink. So it was alright. But I agree with most of the comments. In 2026, don't accept cards for orders under €10. I'm a restaurant owner too. This nonsense has to stop. It's something you can negotiate with the bank. Unless it suits them to have more cash on hand... Luckily my friend had cash. I only had my card on my phone. What do you do when you've ordered and you discover it's a minimum of €10? It's definitely pushing for consumption and it's really bad for business. Luckily you're in a tourist area, otherwise that little joke might have backfired. You have to move with the times. It's a shame. The bar is very well located. But next time I come to St. Martin, it will be at a different establishment.

L'accueil et le service sont chaleureux.
Le calme de l'autre côté du port est appréciable. On recommande !
