19/08/2024: Terrasse ombragée très agréable avec sa fontaine et ses poissons rouges. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, les plats du jour sont frais, originaux et délicieux. Nous recommandons.

04/06/2024: Bonjour Nous arrivons ma sœur et moi de votre établissement nous sommes des clientes régulières Cette fois-ci ma viande immangeable j'ai retourné le plat sans problème et de plus la caissière pas sympathique du tout ( il faut l'apprendre à sourire) et ne savais pas comment nous faire régler les repas séparés et de plus n'a pas pu nous prendre les bons de réduction que l'on avait et n'a pas pris la carte de fidélité de ma sœur bref nous sommes déçues. Heureusement nous avons vu Chloé que nous adorons et fait la connaissance de la petite Constance bien aimable Voilà à une prochaine fois PEUT ÊTRE Cordialement Mme Pierre Maryline et sa sœur Mme Rivière Véronique

31/05/2024: We have found the Buffalo Grills consistently good throughout France but Constance at this one was especially friendly, welcoming and provided a very efficient service.

31/07/2024: Le cadre est magnifique, une belle terrasse en bord de Charente qui invite à un moment charmant et reposant. En revanche la présentation des plats n’est pas soignée, les saveurs sont fades, même le pain n’est pas bon et nous avons dû réclamer à de nombreuses reprises une carafe d’eau fraîche. Pour le tarif demandé je m’attendais à une qualité gustative bien supérieure.

20/06/2024: Décevant !!! Accueil très moyen. Cher pour ce que nous avons mangé. Le seul point positif est le cadre. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

25/08/2024: Coming for only 2 tacos, we had to wait more than 40 minutes amid the screams of what we think was one of the cooks but also the receiver of orders. This same lady when ordering did not ask for the sauces, perhaps this was an oversight but during the 40 minutes of waiting she could have noticed it. You should also know that the prices are exorbitant compared to the quality, €19 for only 2 medium tacos without fries! Arriving at the tasting which took a long time, we were mixed with the taste of the tacos. Too little cheese sauce, and the pieces of meat were huge as if the meat had not been cut... In short, this experience made us waste money unnecessarily, time and made us feel unwell. which ended in the toilet we will spare you the details... I don't recommend running away!

20/07/2024: Visited this restaurant for lunch and was surprised at how busy it was A set menu plus a la carte menu available We were met by a lady whose English was excellent and were shown to our table Both menus were explained to us and the choice was fantastic I had prawns and chorizo to start, others had goats cheese and tuna salad Main course I had steak on a skewer, others had the fish dish and chicken with pasta For desert we had chocolate mouse and others had creme brulee Service was very good and house wine was lovely

09/12/2024: WOW!! If you ever go to Angouleme, France (and you should)… This really is a great place to stay and a few minutes walk to the city center. Mike and family are such welcoming hosts, so incredibly kind and great to speak to as he speaks really good English if you’re like me and haven’t learned enough French to be proficient 😆. Amazing atmosphere, service and the room is extremely clean and well kept. I was brought breakfast to my room without asking, it was offered, freshly baked croissants with jams, bread, yogurt, Cafe Latte etc (proper French breakfast). I stayed in room 10 with an amazing balcony view overlooking Angouleme. I feel at home when I am thousands of miles away from home. I just can’t say enough to express my gratitude for this stay, I would pay double what I paid to stay here hands down! Merci beaucoup!!!!!

13/07/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent value for money. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with quality ingredients. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the side dishes delicious, and the dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. The service is warm, quick, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

11/05/2026: Fantastic experience at La Rotonde! It's an exceptional place with excellent food and a truly wonderful welcome. The staff are warm and attentive. We had a great time, I highly recommend it.
