27/07/2024: Nous sommes passé manger dans cette établissement le vendredi a 18 H30 car on nous a signalé que cette établissement faisait service continu comme indiqué sur leur site ! On nous installe et on nous demande d attendre 19 h car on ne peut rien nous proposer comme plat ! ( Service continu) On prend un apéritif et on nous propose des finger food que l'on nous propose Il est a se moment 18h40 L apéritif arrive très rapidement Mais PAS le reste Il est 19 h 15 nous décidons d aller au bar Ou le responsable est a sa caisse S en avoir rien demandé se monsieur nous sort une note comprenant l apéritif et les finger food commander que l on attend toujours Il semble surpris une fois que nous lui disons que nous avons pas été servi Nous fait payer les apéro sans aucune excuse il en rien a faire ! Sa ces un responsable zéro Une incompétence rarement rencontré

29/08/2024: We’ve lived in the area for a long time and have been to this restaurant many times with other members of our family. We always thought it was an ok place for reasonable meal…… nothing amazing but fairly reliable. On this occasion we were meeting someone else for lunch but we were the first to arrive for the reservation. We speak pretty good French but still have a bit of a English accent. The waiter seemed very busy and it took quite a while until we were able to ask for a drink. As I was driving and had planned on having a glass of wine with my meal I asked first if they had any low or alcoholic beer….unfortunately the verbal abuse that we received from the waiter was discriminating and quite shocking. He snarled at us and retorted that in the Charente ‘we only drink alcohol ‘ Apparently simply asking if they happened to have a non alcoholic beer was reason to be incredibly rude and patronising to customers who he obviously assumed to be tourists. We would have left at that point but as I said we were waiting for someone….the setting outside is lovely , the food is fairly average and not particularly good value but worst of all the waiter’s attitude was really quite unpleasant.

29/08/2024: c'était mon restaurant préféré ! Nous sommes allé y diner en famille pour le jour de mon mariage, très mauvais , j ai connu des cantines de routier meilleure et surtout plus sympathique, à part un jeune serveur qui s'est montré aimable avec nous, on a été aussi bien traité que dans une gare de marchandise ! Cela aurait pu passer si la nourriture avait été un minimum convenable, je ne suis vraiment pas une grande cuisinière et ben eux , ils arrivent à cuisiner plus mal que moi !

06/09/2024: Re bonjour. Avec les "vieux" dont nous sommes, de notre village, nous venons de déjeuner à L'auberge. C'était parfait: accueil, service et menu. 01/09/2024: Très bien. Rapport qualité/prix ok. Le cadre est agréable et c’est un bon endroit pour un dîner tranquille en famille ou entre amis.

25/08/2024: Coming for only 2 tacos, we had to wait more than 40 minutes amid the screams of what we think was one of the cooks but also the receiver of orders. This same lady when ordering did not ask for the sauces, perhaps this was an oversight but during the 40 minutes of waiting she could have noticed it. You should also know that the prices are exorbitant compared to the quality, €19 for only 2 medium tacos without fries! Arriving at the tasting which took a long time, we were mixed with the taste of the tacos. Too little cheese sauce, and the pieces of meat were huge as if the meat had not been cut... In short, this experience made us waste money unnecessarily, time and made us feel unwell. which ended in the toilet we will spare you the details... I don't recommend running away!
