12/05/2024: Very satisfied to have found this pretty caravan which also owes its charm to the simple and super friendly welcome from the hostess and the young man who assists her. And above all, Extra pizzas, no cooking worries, nothing like a wood fire to enhance the taste!!! I had seen that some had been "disturbed" by the well-cooked edges... it's called cooking over a wood fire! The pizzas are really well garnished, great value for money! In short, well done we will come back!!

03/05/2024: Very disappointed. I am passing through here and I come across this very well rated trailer so I go there with confidence. Unfortunately the pizzas are burnt, the taste is not really up to par and for the price I am left wanting more…. I think they have all the ingredients to offer a quality pizza... On the other hand, the 2 people were very friendly.

17/04/2024: Excellent French cuisine! Foie gras. St Jacques with porcini mushrooms, duck breast cooked in the fireplace. I overdid it a little, I admit. In the middle of the Cognac country. There were 3 of us, elegant desserts from the other guests and a range of top-level coffees. A bit of a wait for service but worth the wait. A lalande of pomerol on top. Yum long live France and deep Charente

09/12/2024: WOW!! If you ever go to Angouleme, France (and you should)… This really is a great place to stay and a few minutes walk to the city center. Mike and family are such welcoming hosts, so incredibly kind and great to speak to as he speaks really good English if you’re like me and haven’t learned enough French to be proficient 😆. Amazing atmosphere, service and the room is extremely clean and well kept. I was brought breakfast to my room without asking, it was offered, freshly baked croissants with jams, bread, yogurt, Cafe Latte etc (proper French breakfast). I stayed in room 10 with an amazing balcony view overlooking Angouleme. I feel at home when I am thousands of miles away from home. I just can’t say enough to express my gratitude for this stay, I would pay double what I paid to stay here hands down! Merci beaucoup!!!!!

27/10/2025: Stopped here for lunch with 3 adults without a reservation. No menu, only fish and chips, no starter. Three different small pieces of cheese. Only dessert, a cone. In total, 3 fish and chips, 2 cheeses, and 1 dessert for the sum of 49.85 euros. That's about 17 euros per person. Many restaurants offer a full menu for the same price.

21/09/2025: We stayed last week. Excellent welcome. No menu, which would have been a plus, but we ate very well. The owners were very attentive. Quiet location. Parking right across the street. The room was perfectly adequate and clean. A little more light in it would have been great. I highly recommend it, and if we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

24/08/2024: Très bel accueil. Conseils avisés sur les vins. Les serveurs savent s'adapter à la clientèle. A l'écoute, souriants. De belles découvertes gustatives (tataki de taureau). Plats beaux, bons et copieux. Cosy. Je recommande vivement si vous voulez passer un bon moment et vous régaler.

21/08/2024: Bon accueil, cadre agréable et plats intéressants. Le poulpe était particulièrement bien cuit, la carte des vins équilibrée. Un petit bémol sur les plats servis pas assez chauds... mais il y avait beaucoup de monde ce jour. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
